Press to advance or reverse slides. Each press
sends single 100mS data burst – to keep cues tidy,
and airways clean. If either button is held down
for longer than 1.1 seconds, the unit invokes a
typematic response, delivering automatic cueing of
3 slides per second until button is released. If held
down for 30 seconds, transmission is software
disabled until new button press, to guard against
accidental triggering.
Membrane Fascia Panel
Reverse printed for
maximum wear. Soft-click
tactile buttons are silent, for
use while wearing a lapel mic.
LASER
Press for Laser Pointer.
Bright Red 5mW large dot.
Rubber Grip
Attractive and pleasant to
hold. Easy to attach and
remove.
Battery Compartment
Quick access. Uses 1x
CR2032 3volt button cell.
Lanyard Eyelet
Attach neck or wrist strap
if desired.
RF Channel Selector
16 coded channels, unique
to Cue King 2. All receivers
must be set identically.
Confidence LED
Glows Green when FWD
button pressed, and Red
when BACK is pressed. If
battery is low, LED will flash
during button press.

USB Outputs
Send cues to up to 3 local computers via USB. Outputs
are fully optoisolated from local power, and also each
other, so you won’t get any hum in your vision.
Connect cable, and Red Data Activity LED turns Green
in a second or two, when PC or Mac handshake is
complete. With Mac, ignore and close any pop-up
boxes that ask about your keyboard.
Membrane Fascia Panel
Reverse printed for
maximum wear.
RF ALL
Enables/Disables RF on
Master and all
connected Lectennas.
TEST Buttons
FWD/BACK buttons allow operator to
test unit during setup, and also manually
override a presentation if neccessary.
LOC/REM
Activity LEDs indicate
RF cue is received by
LOCAL Antenna, or
REMOTE Lectenna.
BATTERY
Cues from the RF
Handset contain battery
status information. If
battery LOW is
received, LED will flash
indefinitely, until a new
transmission indicates
battery status has
returned to HIGH.
Network Inputs/Outputs
Connect up to 9 Lectern Buttons and 2 Lectennas per input, via
Cat5/6 or Mic Cable, up to 300 Metres. Both inputs supply
9VDC power to peripherals and can survive short-circuit faults
indefinitely. Green LED indicates Data Activity.
!!! Do NOT connect to Ethernet equipment,
or damage may result !!!
Antenna BNC Input
Attach Antenna here. May
be left in place for the
lifetime of the unit. Raise
for use, and fold down for
storage and transport.
RF Channel Selector
16 coded channels, unique
to Cue King 2. RF Handset
must be set identically.
Line Input A and B Switches
Allows or blocks all incoming Data. If
short-circuit Line fault is detected, input
LED will flash until fault is removed.
Audio Indicator
Duration, Frequency and
Volume are independently
adjustable. SPKR switch
turns local speaker off and
on. Phones jack is always on.
Different sounds for FWD
and BACK.
USB Output Switches
One for each computer. 1, 2 and 3 are local. 4
REMOTE engages the USB output on any or all
Lectennas connected on the network.

USB Output
Send cues to a local computer via USB. When Master
Station is connected, this output is controlled by the
Output 4 switch. If Master Station is not connected, USB
Output is always on. Output is fully optoisolated from
network power, so you won’t get any hum in your vision.
Connect cable, and Red Data Activity LED turns Green in a
second or two, when PC or Mac handshake is complete.
With Mac, ignore and close any pop-up boxes that ask you
about your keyboard.
Aluminium
Enclosure
Attractive and durable
high quality aluminium
enclosure,
powdercoated matt
black.
Network Hub
This hub is only enabled when the Master Station is connected. In Solo mode
the unit is powered entirely by USB from the local computer. When the Master
Station is connected via Mic or Cat5/6 cable, internal relays switch the Lectenna
to network power, and electrically isolate its USB Output. Other peripherals
may then be connected via Cat5/6, through the Network Hub, also drawing their
power from the Master Station. The XLR is not available to connect to other
peripherals – only to the Master Station. Green LED flashes during Data Activity.
!!! Do NOT connect to Ethernet equipment, or damage may result !!!
Antenna BNC Input
Attach Antenna here. May
be left in place for the
lifetime of the unit. Raise
for use, and fold down for
storage and transport.
RF Channel Selector
16 coded channels, unique
to Cue King 2. RF Handset
must be set identically.
RF LED
If a valid cue is received from the RF Handset, LED will flash Green for FWD, and
Red for BACK. When Master Station is connected, the RF Receiver function is
controlled by the RF ALL switch. When turned off, RF is not received and LED
will not flash. If Master Station is not connected, the RF Receiver is always on.
USB OUTPUT LED
Glows Green when local USB Output is switched on, and Red when
switched off. When Master Station is connected, this function is
controlled by the Output 4 switch. If Master Station is not
connected, USB Output is always on.

LID PLACEMENT
Just place the Lectern Button
on the Lid of any Lectern,
connect Cat5/6 cable to
Master Station, and start
clicking.
RIM MOUNT
Enclosure neatly straddles Standard
Lectern Rim made from 30mm section
tubing. Secure with tape or Velcro, or
use fasteners for a permanent install.
INTERNAL MOUNT
Consider this idea for a permanent
install in a Lectern Rim made from
30mm section tubing. Rear panel
removed and remainder lowered
through hole machined in Lectern.
Note: Patch cable would need to
internally connect unit to accessible
patch point installed elsewhere on
Lectern.
FLUSH MOUNT
A more challenging idea for permanent
install in a Lectern Rim 30mm or more
in width. Membrane Fascia is applied
directly to the Lectern Rim, with its
80mm tail connected through a hole to
the circuit board. Note: Patch cable
would need to internally connect unit
to accessible patch point installed
elsewhere on Lectern. (Fascia and
PCB supplied by special order only. )
RJ45 Connector
One at each end to
connect via Cat5/6 cable
to Master Station.
Confidence LED
Glows Green when FWD
button pressed, and Red
when BACK is pressed.
