tear,Tannoywillrepairanysuchdefector,atouroption,replaceitwithout

bracketandplatformforcentrechanneluseisincludedwiththespeaker.
Anoptionaloorstandandshelf/tablestandisalsoavailable.

TannoyDualConcentric™drivers.Intensiveresearchanddevelopment
hasproducedanall-newversionofthisproventechnologythatbuildsupon
thelegendaryperformanceofthisexclusiveTannoydriverdesign.Thetime
coherent,pointsourceandconstantdirectivitynatureofthedispersion
characteristicsinherentintheDualmakesitanacceptedindustry
standardinstudiomonitoring.Byexceedingtherigorousdemandsofthe
recordingandmasteringenvironmentTannoycanensurethatplayback
performanceinthehome,whetherintwochannelstereoormultichannel
homecinemamode,isstrictlycontrolledtoaccuratelyreectthesound
engineer’sartistry.Innatureallsoundsemanatefromasinglepointin
space.ThehighfrequencyunitoftheDual,centrallymountedinthethroat
ofthemainmid/bassdriver,issopositionedastoacousticallyreplicate
thissinglepointsource;deliveringanincrediblynaturalsoundwithan
incrediblywideimaging‘sweetspot’thatcreatesanexpansivesoundstage
withremarkablyfocusedplacementofvocalsandinstrumentation.
TannoyhasincorporateditsownWideBand™technologyintothedesign
oftheArenaHighline500LCRloudspeakers.Notonlydoesthis
exceptionalin-housetechnologyresolvenedetailofhighfrequency
informationbutitalsoeffectivelyenhancesthelisteningexperience
throughoutthewholefrequencyrange.TheWideBand™highfrequency
systemcreatesanincreasedimmediacy,airinessandimpactmaking
musicsoundmorenaturalandtruetolife.Musiccontainstransient
informationandrichharmonicsbeyondtherangeofhumanhearingfor
puretones.Evenbassnoteshaveleadingedgetransientsreaching
30kHz.Operatingbetweentheroll-offpointoftheexclusiveTannoy
mid-bassdriverunitand51kHz,theTannoyWideBand™highfrequency
unitwillaccuratelyreproducetheleadingedgeofindividualnotesallowing
thelistenertoexperiencetheentirebandwidthinformationofinstruments.
Inaddition,theextensionofthefrequencyresponse,byfullytwooctaves,
correctstimeandphaseresponsewithinthebandwidthofnormalhuman
hearing.Takingtheseacousticalphaseanomaliesbeyondtheaudible
rangeaddsrealismtothesoundstagethroughimprovementsinimaging
andtheplacementofinstrumentationandmoviespecialeffects.

TheArenaHighLine500LCRisdesignedtobeusedeitherhorizontally(e.g.
centrechannel)orvertically(e.g.wallorstandmountedsatelliteposition).
TheTannoybadgeonthespeakerhasbeendesignedtoswiveltothe
requiredpositionforhorizontalorverticaluse.Inhorizontalpositionthe
badgecanappeareithertotherightorlefthandsideofthespeakerand
inverticalpositionthebadgecanappeareithertothetoporbottomofthe
speaker.Thebadgehasaspringmechanismwhichholdsitlockedinits
nallychosenpositionat90degreeintervals.Toswivelthebadgethrough
90degreesitneedstobecarefullyliftedawayfromthegrillebyapprox
2-3millimetres(approx0.1”)onlyandthenturntothedesiredposition.
Topullthebadgeupwardsitshouldbegrippedwithngernailstoeither
sideandslightlyunderneath.

Usingthe8mmscrewsandwashersprovidedattachthetwosmallbrackets
tothexingpoints.Ensurethatthebracketwithprettedcaphasthecap
facingoutwards,onthesideyouhaveleftclearanceforhookingontothewall.
Threadthespeakerwirethroughthesparecap.
Itisessentialthatthespeakersarewiredcorrectlyatthis
stage.The(-)wireshouldhaveasolidblacklineorsimilarmarkedalongit.
