Unpacking and Visual Checks
Every Tannoy VSXNET product is carefully tested and
inspectedbeforebeingpackagedandleavingthefactory.
Afterunpackingyourloudspeaker,pleaseinspectforany
exterior physical damage, and save the carton and any
relevant packaging materials in case the loudspeaker
again requires packing and shipping. In the event that
damagehasbeensustainedintransit,pleasenotifyyour
dealerimmediately.
Rear Interface Panel
XLR FEMALE AUDIO INPUT - This isa lockable XLR
lineinputsocketforconnectiontotheaudiosource.Fully
balanced:pin2hot(+),pin3cold(-),&pin1ground.

SIGNAL PRESENT LED
System Configuration
All loudspeakers in the VSXNET range are integrated
designswhichincludesystemspecicEQandprotection
circuitry, without the need for external amplication. For
room equalization, delay and other commissioning or
setupfunctions,werecommendyouuseaVNETSC1or
TDX1 Digital Controller. Please refer to the full VSXNET
Seriesmanual.
AC Power Requirements
VSXNETproductsareequippedwithNeutrikpowerCON
mainsconnectorswhichmatewiththeNeutrikNAC3FCA
Cable connector, providing quick lock with a securing
leveratpower-in.
ThisACmainsconnectorissuppliedwitheachVSXNET
product.
VSXNET module in VSXNET loudspeakers has a
universalpowersupply. Itwilloperateon any AC mains
supply from 100 V to 250 V (+/- 10%) at 50 or 60 Hz,
althoughwithreducedpoweroutputcapabilityatthelow
voltage extremes. This allows continued operation even
when using long, thin power cables, or when powered
fromportablegeneratorsthatareunableto maintainfull
nominalvoltage.
Cooling
Do not install this equipment in an enclosed space. Do
notlimitfreeventilationandmovementofairaroundthe
back panel. Ensure that there is at least 100 mm (4”)
of space around all sides of the product for ventilation.
VSXNET products do not have cooling fans; the highly
efcient switch mode power supply and proprietary
ClassDoutputstagehavelowcurrentdrawandtherefore
requireonlytheconvectioncoolingprovidedbythe rear
panelheatsink.
