We recommend that you read this chapter carefully before using
this device. The manufacturer disclaims any liability for damage,
which may result as a consequence of improper use of this
device or of use contrary to the instrucons contained herein.
Do not switch on your device when its use is
prohibited or when using the device may cause
interference or danger.
Follow rules or regulaons in hospitals and health
care facilies. Switch o your device near medical
apparatus.
Switch o your device in an aircra. The device
may cause interference to aircra control signals.
Switch o your device near high-precision
electronic devices. The device may aect the
performance of these devices.
Do not aempt to disassemble your device or its
accessories. Only qualied personnel are allowed
to service or repair the device.
Do not place your device or its accessories in
containers with a strong electromagnec eld.
Do not place magnec storage media near your
device. Radiaon from the device may erase the
informaon stored on them.

It is recommended that the equipment only be used in an
environment where the temperature is between 0°C and 45°C
and humidity is between 10% to 90%.
CHARGERS (Oponal)
Remove the baery rst if you intend to connect the device to
a power outlet for a period of more than 7 days. Otherwise,
it may damage the baery. Your LinkZone can sll funcon
without a baery provided it is connected via a USB cable to
a power supply.
Main power chargers will operate within the temperature range
of: 0°C to 40°C.
The chargers designed for your device meet with the standard
for safety of informaon technology equipment and oce
equipment use.
They are also compliant to the ecodesign direcve 2009/125/

Use the device’s 2 buons as follows:

Power
Press and hold for 3 seconds to turn the
device on/o.
Short press to put the LED in either acve
or sleep mode.
Press and hold for 10 seconds to reboot the
device.

WPS
Press and hold the WPS buon for 3
seconds unl the Wi-Fi LED blinks.
Short press to put the device into either
acve or sleep mode.
Reset
Press both “Power” and “WPS” keys at the
same me for 3 seconds to reset your device
to factory mode.
1.4 LED display
The LED display is interpreted as follows:
Network Indicator (red or blue LED)
Wi-Fi indicator (blue LED)
SMS indicator (blue LED)
Baery indicator (red or blue LED)

LED descripon:

LED is blue when connected to the Internet
or ashes when the Internet is disconnected.
LED is red when there’s no network, service,
or SIM card.
Wi-Fi
indicator LED is blue when Wi-Fi is acve.
SMS
indicator
LED is blue when you have a new message or
ashes when your inbox is full.
Baery
indicator
LED is red when the baery is low.
A blue, slowly ashing LED indicates that the
device is working.
A blue, quickly ashing LED indicates that the
device is charging.
A blue, non-ashing LED indicates that the
device is fully charged.

Power saving mode:
• If no key is pressed on the device for 30 seconds, then all
the LED lights will automacally turn o except the baery
LED light. An LED light will come on when the USB cable is
used to charge the device or any key is pressed on the device.
• If there is no Wi-Fi access used on the device for 10 mins,
Internet network dialling will disconnect automacally and
will connect automacally once any key is pressed on the
device or Wi-Fi is accessed from the device.
• If there is no Wi-Fi access to the device for 30 minutes, then
all LED lights will be automacally turned o along with the
Wi-Fi AP funcon. Press any key to restore the Wi-Fi AP
funcon.
1.5 Installing the device
Step 1: Open the back cover.
Note: We suggest that you put the ps of both thumbs into the
hole slot at the same me and pull the cover outwards to open it.

Step 2: Install SIM card in the cards slot.
WARNING! Do not insert the micro SIM card to the slot before
opening the slot cover. Follow the mark on the slot to open and
lock.
Step 3: Install baery.
