WICHTIGE SICHERHEITSVORSCHRIFTEN
Lesen Sie aufmerksam die Gebrauchsanleitung, bevor Sie Ihr Gerät
benutzen, und befolgen Sie immer die Sicherheitsvorschriften und
die Gebrauchsanweisung.
Wichtig: Das Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und von
Personen mit einer körperlichen, sensorischen, geistigen oder
motorischen Behinderung oder einem Mangel an Erfahrung und
Kenntnissen verwendet werden, sofern diese Personen beaufsichtigt
oder über den sicheren Gebrauch des Geräts unterrichtet wurden
und die damit verbundenen Gefahren verstanden haben. Kinder
dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung
dürfen nicht durch Kinder durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind
älter als 8 Jahre und beaufsichtigt. Lassen Sie Ihr Gerät und sein
Netzkabel nie unbeaufsichtigt und in Reichweite von Kindern jünger
als 8 Jahre oder unverantwortlichen Personen, wenn es an der

❑Kontrollieren Sie, ob die Netzspannung mit der auf dem Gerät
vermerkten Spannung übereinstimmt, bevor Sie das Gerät
benutzen.

❑Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig, dass das Gerät nicht beschädigt ist.
Bei Beschädigung der Anschlussleitung oder des Gerätes,

überprüfen bzw. reparieren lassen. Eine beschädigte
Anschlussleitung muss von einem Fachmann(*) ausgewechselt
werden, damit jede Gefahr gemieden wird.
❑Benutzen Sie das Gerät nur zu Haushaltszwecken, wie in der
Bedienungsanleitung angegeben.
❑Tauchen Sie das Gerät niemals in Wasser oder andere
Flüssigkeiten, weder zum Reinigen, noch zu einem anderen
Zweck. Geben Sie das Gerät niemals in die Spülmaschine.
❑Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht in der Nähe einer Wärmequelle.
❑Lassen Sie den Wasserkocher abkühlen und ziehen Sie den
Stecker aus der Steckdose bevor Sie das Gerät reinigen oder
aufräumen.



❑Benutzen Sie das Gerät nicht im Freien und bewahren Sie es an
einem trockenen Platz auf.
❑Benutzen Sie nur Zubehör, welches vom Lieferanten empfohlen
wurde. Anderes Zubehör stellt eine Gefahr für den Benutzer dar
und das Gerät könnte dadurch beschädigt werden.
❑Ziehen Sie niemals an der Anschlussleitung um das Gerät zu
bewegen. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Anschlussleitung nicht
irgendwo hängen bleibt und dies zum Fall des Gerätes führen
könnte. Wickeln Sie die Anschlussleitung nicht um das Gerät oder
knicken Sie diese nicht.
❑Stellen Sie das Gerät bzw. den Sockel auf eine stabile, ebene
Fläche.
❑Ist Ihr Modell mit einem separaten Sockel oder einer
abtrennbaren Anschlussleitung ausgestattet, so entfernen Sie
diese Teile bevor Sie den Wasserkocher mit Wasser füllen. Ist Ihr
Wasserkocher mit einer festen Anschlussleitung ausgestattet,
ziehen Sie dann erst den Stecker aus der Steckdose, bevor Sie
den Wasserkocher füllen.
❑Benutzen Sie zum Kochen nur kaltes oder lauwarmes (Trink-
)Wasser oder flüssige Lebensmittel (z. B. Glühwein) zum
Erwärmen. Benutzen Sie kein Wasser aus Badewannen,
Waschbecken oder anderen Behältern.
❑Achten Sie darauf, dass der Wasserkocher zwischen der
Maximum- und Minimummarkierung gefüllt wird. Überprüfen Sie
stets ob der Wasserstand nicht unter die Minimummarkierung
gelangt, da dies zu Beschädigungen des Heizelementes führen
könnte. Achtung! Wenn Sie zuviel Wasser einfüllen, kann der
Wasserkocher überkochen und kochendes Wasser kann
herausspritzen.
❑Bei Gebrauch des Gerätes sollte der Deckel sachgemäß
geschlossen sein. Öffnen Sie erst dann den Deckel, wenn sich
der Wasserkocher selbst abgeschaltet hat.
❑Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie sich nicht verbrennen, da beim
Kochvorgang heißer Dampf entweichen kann.
❑Ist Ihr Wasserkocher mit einem separaten Sockel ausgestattet, so
darf der Wasserkocher nur mit diesem Sockel benutzt werden.
❑Achtung: Wenn das Symbol auf einer bestimmten Fläche des
Gerätes angebracht wurde, ist dies ein Warnhinweis. Dieses

Symbol bedeutet: ACHTUNG, diese Fläche kann während des
Gebrauches heiß werden.
Das Symbol wurde immer angebracht auf der Oberfläche mit
der höchsten Temperatur, aber auch die anderen metallischen
oder nichtmetallischen Oberflächen können heiß werden während
des Gebrauches und es ist deshalb ratsam, sie immer mit
Vorsicht zu handhaben und wenn möglich mit hitzebeständigen
Handschuhen oder einem anderen Temperaturschutz. Im
Zweifelsfall bezüglich der Temperatur einer bestimmten
Oberfläche ist es immer vorzugswürdig, sich zu schützen.
(*) Fachmann: anerkannter Kundendienst des Lieferanten oder des
Importeurs, der für derartige Reparaturen zuständig ist. Für
eventuelle Reparaturen wenden Sie sich bitte an diesen
Kundendienst.
ERSTE INBETRIEBNAHME
Vor der ersten Benutzung, oder nach dem Entkalken des Wasserkochers, kochen Sie bitte
frisches Wasser auf und gießen Sie das aufgekochte Wasser weg. Wiederholen Sie das Ganze 3
mal. Anschließend spülen Sie bitte den Wasserkocher kalt aus.
INBETRIEBNAHME
•Öffnen Sie den Deckel, indem Sie ihn entgegen dem Uhrzeigersinn drehen und nach oben
abheben. Befüllen Sie den Behälter mit kaltem Wasser oder anderen, zu erwärmenden
Flüssigkeiten. Achten Sie darauf, dass der Behälter ausreichend (mindestens bis Höhe
Auslauf), jedoch nicht über die Maximummarkierung, die in dem Behälter zu sehen ist,
gefüllt wird.
•An der Skala(3) kann man die Füllmenge ablesen.
•Schließen Sie den Deckel indem Sie ihn oben auf den Behälter aufsetzen und im
Uhrzeigersinn drehen, bis die Kunststoffführungen des Deckels in den Griffteilen einrasten.
•Stecken den Netzstecker in die Steckdose.
Maximales Fassungsvermögen des Behälters: 4 Liter
Kochfunktion
ACHTUNG: Sie sollten nur Wasser zum Kochen bringen, andere Flüssigkeiten nur erwärmen !
•Füllen Sie die entsprechende Menge Wasser in den Behälter.
•Schalten Sie das Gerät am Ein-/Aus-Schalter (9) ein (Position „I“). Die gelbe Bereitschafts-
Kontrolllampe(10) leuchtet. Drehen Sie den Temperaturschalter(1) auf die Stellung 100°.
Die rote Kontrolllampe(8) leuchtet und zeigt an, dass das Gerät aufheizt.
•Das Wasser wird nun zum Kochen gebracht. Sie können die Kochfunktion jederzeit
abbrechen, indem Sie den Temperaturschalter in die Stellung „°C“ drehen und den Ein-
/Aus-Schalter betätigen (Position „0“).

•Füllen Sie die entsprechende Menge Wasser/Glühwein in den Behälter.
•Schalten Sie das Gerät am Ein-/Aus-Schalter (9) ein (Position „I“). Die gelbe Bereitschafts-
Kontrolllampe(10) leuchtet. Drehen Sie den Temperaturschalter(1) auf die gewünschte
Temperatureinstellung. Die rote Kontrolllampe(8) leuchtet und zeigt an, dass das Gerät
aufheizt.
•Die Temperatur wird durch ein Thermostat geregelt, ist die eingestellte Temperatur
erreicht, erlischt die rote Kontrollleuchte und die gelbe Bereitschaftslampe leuchtet auf. Ist
die Temperatur der Flüssigkeit um einige Grad abgekühlt, schaltet sich die Heizung
automatisch wieder ein.
•Sie können die Erwärmungsfunktion jederzeit abbrechen, indem Sie den Temperatur-
schalter in die Stellung „°C“ drehen und den Ein-/Aus-Schalter betätigen (Position „0“).
Zapfhahn
•Es gibt 2 Stellungen für den Zapfhahn. In Ruhestellung (Hebel senkrecht) ist er geschlossen.
Drückt man den Hebel nach unten (Stellung waagerecht), rastet er und der Durchlass
bleibt dauerhaft offen.
ÜBERHITZUNGSSCHUTZ
•Der Glühweinautomat ist mit einem Überhitzungsschutz ausgestattet, der das Gerät
abschaltet, wenn es versehentlich ohne Flüssigkeit eingeschaltet wurde.
•Falls dies vorkommt, bringen Sie den Temperaturschalter in die Stellung „°C“ und stellen
Sie den Ein-/Aus-Schalter in die Position „0“.
•Lassen Sie das Gerät abkühlen.
•Am Boden des Gerätes befindet sich ein Taster „Überhitzungsschutz zurücksetzen“(11), bei
dessen Betätigung man die Überhitzungsschutzfunktion zurücksetzen kann, so dass das
Gerät wieder normal funktioniert. Sollte anschließend ein Wiedereinschalten nicht
funktionieren, wenden Sie sich bitte an den nächsten Kundendienst.
REINIGUNG UND PFLEGE
•Vor der Reinigung immer den Netzstecker ziehen und das Gerät abkühlen lassen.
•Verwenden Sie ein feuchtes Tuch zum Reinigen. Ablagerungen an den Innenwänden
können mit einer weichen Bürste entfernt werden. Verwenden Sie niemals scharfe oder
scheuernde Reinigungsmittel.
•Den Wasserkocher niemals in Flüssigkeiten tauchen oder unter fließendem Wasser
reinigen.
ENTKALKEN
Das Gerät sollte dann entkalkt werden, wenn Kalkansatz im Wasserbehälter sichtbar wird.
Verwenden Sie zum Entkalken ein handelsübliches Entkalkungsmittel oder besser, aus Gründen
des Umweltschutzes, Essig- oder Zitronensäure.
Bitte beachten Sie beim Entkalken:
•Füllen Sie zuerst Wasser in das Gerät, dann das Entkalkungsmittel.
•Entkalkungsmittel nicht zu stark dosieren! Bitte Gebrauchsanweisung der Entkalkungsmittel
beachten.
•Vorsicht, beim Aufkochen kann die Mischung schäumen!
•Nach Entkalkung den Behälter mit klarem Wasser ausspülen.



Zum Schutz unserer Umwelt und unserer Gesundheit sind Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte nach
bestimmten Regeln zu entsorgen. Dies fordert den Einsatz sowohl des Herstellers bzw.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance,
and always follow the safety and operating instructions.
Important: This appliance can be used by children over 8 years old
and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or
with a lack of experience or knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance
and the risks involved. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless
they are older than 8 years and supervised. Never leave the
appliance and its cord unsupervised and within reach of children less
than 8 years old or irresponsible persons when it is plugged into the
wall or when it is cooling down.
❑Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the
appliance.
❑Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
❑From time to time check the appliance for damages. Never use
the appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage. In
that case, repairs should be made by a competent qualified

❑Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord
cannot get caught in any way. Stand the appliance on a table or
flat surface. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do
not bend it.
❑If your type of appliance has a separate base or a detachable
cord, remove them from the water cooker when filling it. If your
appliance has a fixed cord, unplug it before filling it.
❑For cooking or warming up please only use cold or lukewarm
drinking water or liquid potations (e.g. mulled wine). Never use
water taken from bath tubs, wash basins or any other containers
in order to protect your own health.
❑Always fill between the minimum and maximum marks. The water
must never be below the minimum mark or the heating element
might be damaged. Do not overfill the jug kettle as boiling water
might overflow.
❑When using the appliance, make sure the lid is closed correctly.
Never raise the lid when the jug kettle is in use and when there are
risks of hot water projection due to the bubbling.
❑Be careful not to get burned by the hot steam that evaporates
when the water is boiling and especially when you open the lid.
❑Use only the base that is supplied with the jug kettle.
❑Please note: Should the symbol be indicated on a certain
surface, you need to be careful when handling the product. This
symbol means: CAUTION, this surface may get very hot during
use.
The symbol is always put on the surface with the highest
temperature, however the other metallic or non-metallic surfaces
can also become very hot during use and it is therefore advisable
to always handle them with care and if possible with the help of
isothermal gloves or other thermal protection. In case of doubt
concerning the temperature of a certain surface it is always
preferable to protect oneself.
(*) Competent qualified electrician: after-sales department of the
producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and
competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger.
In case of need you should return the appliance to this electrician.



BEFORE THE FIRST OPERATION
For the perfect taste, operate the jug kettle with fresh water in order to clean any residue left
from the manufacturing process. When the appliance has cooled down, repeat the process 3
times with fresh water, before rinsing.
OPERATION
•Open the lid by turning it anti-clockwise and take it off. Fill in cold drinking water or other
to be warmed up potations. Please always check that the liquid inside the unit is covering
the bottom of the tank, otherwise the unit (heating element) could be damaged. As
minimum mark for filling in liquid take the height of the outlet. Never fill in less than this
mark. Do not exceed the maximum mark.
•You can read the quantity of potation on the water gauge (3).
•Close the lid by turning it clockwise until it is locked in place.
•Insert the power plug into the power socket.
Maximum capacity of the tank: 4 litres
BOIL FUNCTION
Attention: Please only boil water. Other liquids (potations) please only warm up!
•Pour the desired amount of water/potation into the water tank.
•Switch on the unit by putting the on-off switch (9) in position “I”. The yellow standby light
(10) will be illuminated. Turn the temperature switch (1) towards position 100°C. The red
indicator lamp (8) lights to indicate that the unit is heating up.
•The content will be warmed up and the unit deactivates automatically as soon as the
water boils. You can discontinue the boil function at any time by turning the temperature
switch towards position „°C“ and pressing the power button (into position "0").
Warm up function (keep warm function)
•Pour the desired amount of water/potation into the water tank.
•Switch on the unit by putting the on-off switch (9) in position “I”. The yellow standby light
(10) will be illuminated. Turn the temperature switch (1) towards the desired temperature
position. The red indicator lamp (8) lights to indicate that the unit is heating up.
•After warming up the temperature will be kept relatively constant. The temperature will be
controlled by an integrated thermostat. During the keeping warm process the active light
is on, when the heating element is on for a short time in order to reheat the liquid. After the
thermostat has switched off, only the yellow light is on until the thermostat will switch on

Spigot
•There are 2 positions for the spigot. In normal position the spigot is closed (lever in vertical
position). If you push the lever down to a fixed position (horizontal position), the outlet is
open permanently.

•The potation warmer has an integrated overheating protection, that turns off the
complete unit, if you are using the unit by mistake without any liquid inside the tank.
•In this case, please turn the temperature switch towards position „°C“ and put the on-off
switch in position “0”.
•Allow the unit to cool down.
•On the bottom of the unit you will find the overheating protection button (11). Please push
this button in order to reset the unit into normal function. If the unit would not work after
this procedure, please contact our customer service.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•Before attempting any cleaning operation, make sure the appliance is unplugged from
the supply socket and fully cooled down.
•To clean the exterior surfaces, simply wipe over with a soft damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
To remove scale from the inner walls of the kettle you can use a soft brush.
•Never use abrasive products.
•On no account must the jug kettle or its power base be immersed in water.
DESCALING
When scale becomes visible in the appliance, you have to descale it. To remove scale from
the kettle, use products made especially available for this purpose, liquid descaling products or
for the sake of environmental protection you can use vinegar.
When descaling, please pay attention to the following points:
•First pour some water into the appliance, and add the descaling product afterwards.
•Make sure to dilute the product sufficiently. Please follow the instruction manual of the
descaling product.
•When using vinegar, do not use more than 2-3 ml.
•Caution, the mixture might froth during heating.
•After descaling, rinse the appliance twice with fresh water.

❑Veillez à ne pas utiliser l'appareil à l'extérieur et entreposez-le dans
un endroit sec.
❑Ne pas utiliser d'accessoires non recommandés par le fabricant,
cela peut présenter un danger pour l’utilisateur et risque
d’endommager l’appareil.
❑Ne déplacez jamais l’appareil en tirant sur le câble. Veillez à ce
que le cordon d’alimentation ne puisse être accidentellement
accroché et ce afin d’éviter toute chute de l’appareil. Evitez

votre bouilloire est trop remplie, de l’eau bouillante peut être

Le symbole est toujours apposé sur la surface dont la
température est la plus élevée, cependant les températures des
autres surfaces métalliques ou non peuvent aussi devenir très
chaudes pendant l'utilisation et il convient donc de toujours les
manipuler avec précaution et si possible au moyen de gants
isothermes ou autres dispositifs de protection thermique. En cas
de doute sur la température d’une surface il sera toujours
préférable de se protéger.
(*) Service qualifié compétent: service après-vente du fabricant ou de
l'importateur ou une personne qualifiée, reconnue et habilitée à faire
ce genre de réparation afin d'éviter tout danger. Dans tous les cas,
veuillez retourner l'appareil auprès de ce service.
AVANT LA PREMIERE UTILISATION
Il est nécessaire de rincer votre bouilloire avant sa première utilisation. Pour cela, remplissez-la
au préalable avec de l’eau froide et mettez-la en fonctionnement. Une fois l’eau arrivée à
ébullition, videz la bouilloire, laissez-la refroidir, rincez-la et ensuite répétez l’opération 2 à 3 fois,
en veillant à remplir la bouilloire exclusivement avec de l’eau claire.
MISE EN SERVICE
•Ouvrez le couvercle en le tournant dans le sens anti-horaire et soulever ensuite celui-ci.
Remplissez le réservoir ou d’eau froide ou bien tout autre type de boisson à réchauffer.
Prenez garde de toujours vous situer entre les deux repères de niveau "MIN" et "MAX"
inscrits sur l'indicateur du niveau d'eau.
•La quantité figure sur l’indication du niveau d’eau (3).
•Refermez le couvercle en pressant et tournant cette fois-ci dans le sens horaire jusqu'à ce
que vous entendiez un clic et assurez-vous qu’il est correctement fixé.
•Brancher l´appareil.
Contenance maximale du réservoir: 4L
En mode cuisson, ébulition:
ATTENTION: Veillez à ne bouillir que de l´eau et uniquement réchauffer les autres types de
boisson!
•Remplissez le réservoir de la quantité d’eau désirée.
•Allumez votre appareil en mettant l’interrupteur marche/arrêt (9) sur sa position "marche"
(position "I"). Le témoin lumineux jaune (10) s´allume. Tournez le bouton du thermostat (1)
vers la position 100°C. Le témoin lumineux rouge (8) s’allume, vous indiquant que
l’appareil chauffe.
•La bouilloire s’arrête automatiquement dès que l’eau bout grâce à un mécanisme
intégré. Néanmoins vous pouvez l’arrêter à tout moment en tournant le bouton du
thermostat vers la position "°C" et en mettant l’interrupteur marche/arrêt sur sa position
"arrêt" (position "0").



En mode réchauffage:
•Remplissez le réservoir de la quantité d’eau ou de boisson (vin chaud…) désirée.
•Allumez votre appareil en mettant l’interrupteur marche/arrêt (9) sur sa position "marche"
(position "I"). Le témoin lumineux jaune (10) s´allume. Tournez le bouton du thermostat (1)
vers la position désirée. Le témoin lumineux rouge (8) s’allume, vous indiquant que
l’appareil chauffe.
•La température est maintenue constante après avoir atteint la température choisie.
Quand la température réglée est atteinte, le témoin lumineux rouge s’éteint et le témoin
lumineux jaune s’allume. Quand la température du liquide est descendue par quelques
degrés, le réchauffage recommence automatiquement.
•Il vous est possible de stopper à tout moment le réchauffage en tournant le bouton du
thermostat vers la position "°C" et en mettant l’interrupteur marche/arrêt sur sa position
"arrêt" (position "0").
Robinet
•Il existe 2 positions différentes pour le robinet. Il est fermé en position repos (levier vers le
haut, en position verticale). Appuyez le levier du robinet vers le bas (position horizontale)
et la circulation est ouverte.
DISPOSITIF DE SURETE EN CAS DE SURCHAUFFE
•Cette bouilloire est équipée d’un système de protection contre la surchauffe qui arrête
l’appareil automatiquement si celui-ci est mis en fonctionnement à vide,
accidentellement.
•Si cela arrive, tournez le bouton du thermostat vers la position "°C" et mettez l’interrupteur
marche/arrêt sur sa position "arrêt" (position "0").
•Laissez ensuite refroidir l´appareil.
•Puis activer l´interrupteur de sûreté (11) se trouvant sur le culot, afin de réinitier le
fonctionnement normal de votre appareil. Cela désactive le dispositif de protection. Si le
problème persiste, veuillez contacter le service après-vente le plus proche.
NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
•Toujours débrancher l’appareil et le laisser refroidir avant de le nettoyer.
•Nettoyer les parties plastiques de l’appareil à l’aide d’un chiffon doux. Utiliser une brosse
douce pour enlever les dépôts de calcaire sur les parois intérieures.
•Ne jamais utiliser de produits abrasifs.
•Ne jamais plonger la bouilloire ou son socle dans l’eau ou dans tout autre liquide.
DETARTRAGE
Dès que vous constatez un dépôt de calcaire dans la bouilloire, il est nécessaire de la
détartrer. Pour le détartrage de votre bouilloire, utilisez des produits spécifiques que vous
trouverez dans le commerce, des détartrants liquides ou, par souci de respect de
l'environnement, du vinaigre.
Lors du détartrage, veuillez faire attention aux points suivants:
•Versez d'abord de l'eau dans la bouilloire avant d'ajouter le produit détartrant.
•Assurez-vous que le produit soit suffisamment dilué. Lisez le mode d'emploi du produit.
•Si vous utilisez du vinaigre, n'utilisez pas plus de 2 à 3 ml.
•Attention, lorsque la bouilloire chauffe, le mélange pourrait mousser.



BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig alvorens u uw toestel
gebruikt, en respecteer altijd de veiligheids- en de
gebruiksvoorschriften.
Belangrijk: Het toestel mag worden gebruikt door kinderen van meer

❑Gebruik geen accessoires die niet door de fabrikant werden
aanbevolen. Dit kan gevaarlijk zijn voor de gebruiker en het
toestel beschadigen.
❑Trek nooit aan het snoer om het toestel te verplaatsen. Zorg dat
het elektriciteitssnoer nergens kan achterhaken en daardoor de
val van het toestel veroorzaken. Draai het snoer niet rond het
toestel en plooi het niet.
❑Zet het toestel en/of zijn houder op een stabiel oppervlak.
❑Als uw model een aparte houder of verwijderbaar snoer bevat,
zorg er dan voor dat zij van uw waterkoker verwijderd worden
vooraleer hem te vullen. Indien uw waterkoker een vast snoer
heeft, trek dan eerst de stekker uit het stopcontact vooraleer hem
te vullen.
❑Gebruik enkel koud of lauw (drinkbaar) water of andere vloeistof
(zoals warme wijn). Geen water gebruiken uit baden, wastafels of
andere recipiënten.
❑Zorg ervoor dat de waterkoker gevuld wordt tussen het minimum-
en maximumpeil. Controleer steeds dat het water niet onder het
minimumpeil is, vermits dit beschadiging van het
verwarmingselement kan veroorzaken. Overschrijd nooit het
maximumpeil want als uw waterkoker te vol gevuld is, bestaat er
gevaar voor overkoken (brandwonden).
❑Tijdens de werking van het toestel dient het deksel correct
gesloten te zijn. Til het deksel enkel op wanneer de waterkoker
niet in werking is of wanneer er geen risico is op spatten van
kokend water.
❑Let erop dat u zich niet verbrandt aan de stoom die tijdens het
koken ontsnapt en vooral wanneer u het deksel opent.
❑Laat het toestel afkoelen vooraleer het opnieuw te vullen of te
reinigen.
❑Gebruik uw waterkoker enkel met de bijgeleverde sokkel.
❑Opgelet: Wanneer het symbool op een bepaald oppervlak
gekleefd is, moet u voorzichtig zijn. Dit symbool betekent het
volgende: OPGELET, dit oppervlak kan tijdens het gebruik heel
warm worden.
Het symbool is altijd aangebracht op het oppervlak waarvan
de temperatuur het hoogst is, maar ook de andere metalen of
niet-metalen oppervlakken kunnen heel warm worden tijdens het

behandelen en indien mogelijk met behulp van warmte-isolerende
handschoenen of een andere thermische bescherming. In geval
van twijfel wat betreft de temperatuur van een bepaald oppervlak
is het altijd het best om zich te beschermen.
(*) Bekwame gekwalificeerde dienst: klantendienst van de fabrikant
of de invoerder, die erkend en bevoegd is om dergelijke herstellingen
te doen zodat elk gevaar vermeden wordt. Gelieve het toestel bij
problemen naar deze dienst terug te brengen.
EERSTE INGEBRUIKNAME
Vóór de eerste ingebruikname is het noodzakelijk de waterkoker te spoelen. Vul daarvoor het
apparaat met koud water nadat u het van zijn sokkel hebt gehaald. Nooit meer water vullen
dan tot het bovenste indicatiestreepje. Het deksel goed sluiten, het apparaat weer op de
sokkel plaatsen, de stekker in het stopcontact steken en het apparaat inschakelen. Wacht tot
het water kookt, ledig de waterkoker, laat hem afkoelen, spoel hem na en herhaal alle
handelingen minstens 3 maal. Opgelet: enkel water in de waterkoker gieten.
GEBRUIK
•Open het deksel door het tegen de wijzers van de klok in te draaien en dan op te tillen.
Vul het reservoir met koud water of een andere vloeistof die u wenst op te warmen. Zorg
ervoor dat er genoeg vloeistof is (minstens tot de hoogte van de uitlaatopening) maar
zonder de MAX-markering die in het reservoir aangeduid is te overschrijden.
•U kunt het vulpeil aflezen van de waterpeilaanduiding (3).
•Sluit het deksel door het op het toestel te plaatsen en met de wijzers van de klok mee te
draaien tot het goed vastzit.
•Steek de stekker in het stopcontact.
Maximale capaciteit van het reservoir: 4 liter
Kookfunctie
LET OP: alleen water mag u koken, andere vloeistoffen mag u alleen opwarmen!
•Vul het reservoir met de gewenste hoeveelheid water.
•Zet het apparaat aan met behulp van de aan-/uitschakelaar (9) (stand “I” ). Het gele
controlelampje (10) licht op. Draai de temperatuurschakelaar (1) naar stand 100°C. Het
rode controlelampje (8) licht op en duidt daarmee aan dat het toestel opwarmt.
•De inhoud wordt verwarmd en het toestel schakelt zich automatisch uit, zodra het water
kookt. U kunt de kookfunctie op elk moment beëindigen door de temperatuurschakelaar
naar stand “°C” te draaien en op de aan-/uitschakelaar te drukken (stand “0”).
