IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Please read these instructions carefully before using the
appliance, and always follow the safety and operating
instructions.
Important:
This appliance can be used by children over 8 years old and people
with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or with a lack of
experience or knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instructions concerning the safe use of the appliance and the risks
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and
user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are
older than 8 years and supervised. Never leave the appliance and its
cord unsupervised and within reach of children less than 8 years old
or irresponsible persons, especially when it is plugged into the wall or
when it is cooling down.
Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the
appliance.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
From time to time check the appliance for damages. Never use
the appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage. In
that case, repairs should be made by a competent qualified
electrician(*). Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced
by a competent qualified electrician(*) in order to avoid all danger.
Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way
indicated in these instructions.
Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any
reason whatsoever. Never place it into the dishwasher.
Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
Before cleaning, always unplug the appliance from the power
supply.
Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry
environment.
Never use accessories which are not recommended by the
producer. They could constitute a danger to the user and risk to
damage the appliance.

Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord
cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the
appliance and do not bend it.
Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface.
Make sure the appliance has cooled down before cleaning and
storing it.
Make sure the cord never comes into contact with the hot parts of
the appliance.
The temperature of the accessible surfaces may be very high
when the appliance is in use. Make sure not to touch these
hot parts of the appliance.
Make sure the appliance never comes into contact with
inflammable materials, such as curtains, cloth, etc. when it is in
use, as a fire might occur.
Be careful not to scratch the special coating of the baking plates,
as you might get little pieces of this coating into the food. Use a
classical wooden spatula or a heat-resistant plastic one.
Always unplug the appliance when it is not in use, especially
since it is not equipped with an on-off switch.
Only use the appliance for food that is supposed to be cooked.
Your appliance must never be switched on through an external
timer or any kind of separate remote control system.
Please note: Should the symbol be indicated on a certain
surface, you need to be careful when handling the product. This
symbol means: CAUTION, this surface may get very hot during
use.
The symbol is always put on the surface with the highest
temperature, however the other metallic or non-metallic surfaces
can also become very hot during use and it is therefore advisable
to always handle them with care and if possible with the help of
isothermal gloves or other thermal protection. In case of doubt
concerning the temperature of a certain surface it is always
preferable to protect oneself.
(*) Competent qualified electrician: after-sales department of the
producer or importer or any person who is qualified, approved and
competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all danger.
In case of need you should return the appliance to this electrician.

VOR DER ERSTEN BENUTZUNG
•Remove the packaging completely.
•Clean the baking plates with a damp cloth or sponge.
•Grease the baking plates slightly.
•Always ensure that no water gets into the device.
•It is recommended to preheat the appliance for 10 minutes before using it for the first time
so that the odor disappears.

•Use the appliance only for household purposes as specified in the operating instructions.

character.
Environments of the „bed and breakfast” type.
GETTING STARTED
•Close the device and plug in the plug. The red heating indicator light comes on to
indicate that the unit is working and heating up.

•As soon as the appliance has reached the desired temperature, both green indicator
lights are lit. During use, these indicator lights will turn on and off regularly. This means that
the operating temperature is being adapted.
•Danger! During use, the baking plates become hot. Do not touch them.
•Once heated, open the appliance and lightly grease the
baking plates with butter, margarine or cooking oil. This will
facilitate the removal of the waffles once they are baked.
•Spread the batter on the lower baking plate as described in
the recipes. Do not fill in too much batter, it will run out the
sides if the appliance is overfilled. Use a measuring cup, spoon
or piping bag to fill the baking plate with batter. CAUTION: Do
not use plastic tools as they may melt on contact with the
baking plates.
•Close the cover carefully and secure both housing parts with
the locking clip. Turn the waffle iron so that the batter spreads
evenly.
•Bake the waffles according to the desired degree of browning
(about 3-5 minutes). When the waffles are ready, remove
them with a wooden or plastic spatula. Do not use sharp,
pointed or metal objects, these might damage the non-stick
coating of the baking plates.
•After completing the baking process, unplug the power cord and leave the appliance off
to allow the baking plates to cool.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
•Before cleaning, unplug and wait for the appliance to cool down.
•Wipe the outside with a damp cloth, making sure that no moisture, oil or grease
penetrates the device.
•Wipe the inside and the edges of the baking plates with a paper towel or a soft, damp
cloth.
•Do not clean the inside or outside with abrasive scouring pads or metal objects.
•Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
•Grease the device slightly before using it again.
•For space-saving storage, the egg waffle maker can be stored in upright position.

PROTECTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT – DIRECTIVE 2012/19/EU
In order to preserve our environment and protect human health, the waste electrical and
electronic equipment should be disposed of in accordance with specific rules with the
implication of both suppliers and users. For this reason, as indicated by the symbol on the
rating label or on the packaging, your appliance should not be disposed of as unsorted
municipal waste. The user has the right to bring it to a municipal collection point performing
waste recovery by means of reuse, recycling or use for other applications in accordance with
the directive.
ErP Declaration – Regulation 1275/2008/EC
We, Team Kalorik SA/NV, hereby confirm that our product meets the requirements of regulation
1275/2008/EC. Admittedly, our product does not dispose of a function to minimize the power
consumption, which should according to regulation 1275/2008/EC put the product in off or
standby mode after finishing the main function, but this is practically impossible, as it would
compromise the main function of the product so strongly, that using the product would no
longer be possible!
For this reason we always tell the customer in our instruction manual to unplug the appliance
immediately after use.
The user manual is by simple request also available in electronic format from the after-sales
service (see warranty card).

Gebrauchsanleitung
Vor Inbetriebnahme die Gebrauchsanleitung sorgfältig lesen,
danach handeln und aufbewahren! Bei Weitergabe des Gerätes
die Gebrauchsanleitung beilegen.
WICHTIGE HINWEISE
Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber sowie
von Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder
mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrungen und Wissen
benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des
sicheren Umgangs mit dem Gerät unterwiesen wurden und die
daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstehen.
Reinigung und die Benutzerwartung dürfen nicht von Kindern
ohne Beaufsichtigung durchgeführt werden.
Kontrollieren Sie, ob die Netzspannung mit der auf dem Gerät
vermerkten Spannung übereinstimmt, bevor Sie das Gerät
benutzen.

Ziehen Sie niemals an der Anschlussleitung, um das Gerät zu
bewegen. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Anschlussleitung nicht
irgendwo hängen bleibt und dies zum Fall des Gerätes führen
könnte. Wickeln Sie die Anschlussleitung nicht um das Gerät und
knicken Sie sie nicht.
Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine ebene Fläche damit es nicht
umfällt.
Achten Sie darauf, dass das Gerät vollständig erkaltet ist, bevor
Sie es reinigen oder wegräumen.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Anschlussleitung nicht mit den
heißen Teilen des Gerätes in Kontakt kommt.
Achtung! Während des Gebrauchs können zugängliche Teile
des Gerätes eine sehr hohe Temperatur erreichen. Berühren
Sie diese heißen Teile nicht.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die heißen Teile während des
Backvorganges nicht mit leicht entflammbarem Material wie
Gardinen, Tischdecken, usw. in Berührung kommen.
Brandgefahr!
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Beschichtung nicht abgekratzt wird,
da ansonsten kleine Teile der Beschichtung in die Nahrung
gelangen. Benutzen Sie einen Holzspatel oder einen
wärmebeständigen Plastikspatel, um die Nahrung aus dem Gerät
zu nehmen.
Ziehen Sie den Stecker aus der Steckdose, wenn das Gerät nicht
benutzt wird, da das Gerät keinen An-/Aus-Schalter besitzt.
Bereiten Sie nur Nahrungsmittel zu, die zum Backen und zum
Verzehr geeignet sind.
Ihr Gerät darf niemals über eine externe Zeitschaltuhr oder
irgendein anderes, separates Fernbedienungssystem
eingeschaltet werden.
VOR DER ERSTEN BENUTZUNG
•Entfernen Sie die Verpackung vollständig.
•Reinigen Sie die Backplatten mit einem feuchten Tuch oder Schwamm.
•Fetten Sie die Backplatten leicht ein.
•Achten Sie stets darauf, dass kein Wasser in das Gerät gelangt.
•Es empfiehlt sich, das Gerät vor der ersten Benutzung zunächst 10 Minuten vorzuwärmen,
damit sich der Eigengeruch beim Erstgebrauch verliert.

INBETRIEBNAHME
•Schließen Sie das Gerät und stecken Sie den Stecker in eine Steckdose. Die rote
Aufheizleuchte leuchtet auf und zeigt an, dass das Gerät funktioniert und aufheizt.
•Sobald das Gerät die gewünschte Temperatur erreicht hat, leuchten beide grünen
Kontrollleuchte. Während des Gebrauchs werden diese Kontrollleuchten regelmäßig an-
und ausgehen. Das bedeutet, dass die Betriebstemperatur geregelt wird.
•Achtung! Während des Gebrauchs werden die Backplatten heiß. Berühren Sie diese daher
nicht!

•Öffnen Sie das aufgeheizte Gerät und fetten Sie die
Backplatten leicht mit Butter, Margarine oder Speiseöl ein. Das
erleichtert die Entnahme der fertigen Waffeln.
•Verteilen Sie den Teig wie in den Rezepten beschrieben auf
der unteren Backplatte. Füllen Sie nicht zu viel Teig ein, dieser
läuft sonsten an den Seiten heraus. Nutzen Sie dafür einen
Messbecher, Löffel oder Spritzbeutel. ACHTUNG: Verwenden
Sie keine Hilfsmittel aus Kunststoff, da diese bei Berührung mit
den Backplatten schmelzen können.
•Schließen Sie den Deckel vorsichtig und sichern Sie die
Gehäuseteile mit dem Verschlussclip. Drehen Sie das
Waffeleisen, damit sich der Teig gleichmäßig verteilt.
•Backen Sie die Waffeln je nach gewünschtem Bräunungsgrad
(ca. 3-5 Minuten). Wenn die Waffeln fertig sind, nehmen Sie
diese bitte mit einem Holz- oder Kunststoffspachtel heraus.
Benutzen Sie keine scharfen oder spitzen Gegenstände und
keine Metallgegenstände, da ansonsten die Antihaftbeschichtung der Backplatten
beschädigt werden kann.
•Nach Beendigung des Backens ziehen Sie den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose und lassen
Sie das Gerät auf, damit die Backplatten abkühlen können.

PFLEGEHINWEISE
•Gerät vom Netz trennen und das Gerät und die Platten abkühlen lassen, bevor sie
gereinigt werden.
•Wischen Sie die Außenseite mit einem feuchten Tuch ab und vergewissern Sie sich, dass
keine Feuchtigkeit, Öl oder Fett in das Gerät dringt.
•Wischen Sie die Backplatten mit einem weichen, feuchten Tuch oder mit Küchenpapier
ab.
•Niemals mit metallenen Gegenständen reinigen oder Schleif- und Scheuermittel
verwenden.
•Tauchen Sie das Gerät nicht in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten.
•Fetten Sie das Gerät vor der nächsten Benutzung leicht ein.
•Zur platzsparenden Aufbewahrung können Sie den Eierwaffelbäcker aufrecht hinstellen.

UMWELTSCHUTZ – RICHTLINIE 2012/19/EU
Zum Schutz unserer Umwelt und unserer Gesundheit sind Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte nach
bestimmten Regeln zu entsorgen. Dies fordert den Einsatz sowohl des Herstellers bzw.
Lieferanten als auch des Verbrauchers.
Aus diesem Grund darf dieses Gerät, wie das Symbol auf dem Typenschild bzw. auf der
Verpackung zeigt, nicht in den unsortierten Restmüll gegeben werden. Der Verbraucher hat
das Recht, dieses Gerät über kommunale Sammelstellen zu entsorgen; von dort aus wird die

Wir, die Team Kalorik GmbH bestätigen hiermit, dass unser Produkt den Anforderungen der VO
1275/2008/EG entspricht. Unser Produkt verfügt zwar nicht über eine Funktion zur Minimierung
des Verbrauchs, welche laut VO 1275/2008/EG das Produkt nach Beendigung der
Hauptfunktion in den Aus- oder Bereitschaftszustand versetzen soll, aber dies ist aus Sicht des
Gebrauchswertes nicht möglich, da dies die Hauptfunktion des Produktes so stark
beeinträchtigen würde, dass eine Benutzung des Produktes nicht mehr möglich sein würde!
Aus diesem Grund weisen wir in unserer Bedienungsanleitung den Kunden stets darauf hin, das
Gerät sofort nach Beendigung des Kochvorganges vom Netz zu trennen.

POUR VOTRE SECURITE
Veuillez lire ces instructions attentivement avant d’utiliser
l’appareil, suivez toujours les instructions d’utilisation et de

Important: Votre appareil peut être utilisé par des enfants âgés de

sensorielles ou mentales réduites ou des personnes dénuées
d’expérience ou de connaissances, s’ils ont pu bénéficier, au
préalable, d’une surveillance ou d’instructions concernant son
utilisation en toute sécurité et sur les risques encourus. Les enfants
ne doivent surtout pas jouer avec l’appareil. Le nettoyage et la
maintenance ne doivent pas être effectués par des enfants à moins
qu’ils aient plus de 8 ans et qu’ils soient supervisés. Ne laissez
jamais votre appareil et son câble d’alimentation sans surveillance et
à la portée des enfants de moins de 8 ans ou des personnes non

Ne pas utiliser des accessoires non recommandés par le

DOMAINE D’APPLICATION/ FONCTION
•Utilisez l'appareil uniquement à des fins domestiques, comme indiqué dans le mode
d'emploi.
•Cet appareil est adapté aux applications domestiques et aux applications similaires telles
que:
Cuisines réservées au personnel dans les magasins, bureaux et autres
environnements professionnels.
Fermes.
Utilisation par les clients des hôtels, motels et autres milieux de vie.
Les environs du type de maison d'hôtes.
COMMENCER
•Fermez l'appareil et branchez la prise au secteur. Le voyant de fonctionnement rouge
s'allume pour indiquer que l’appareil fonctionne et chauffe.
•Dès que l'appareil a atteint la température désirée, les deux voyants verts s'allument.
Pendant l'utilisation, ces voyants s'allument et s'éteignent régulièrement. Cela signifie que
la température de fonctionnement est régulée.
•Attention! Pendant l'utilisation, les plaques de cuisson deviennent chaudes. Ne les touchez
pas!
•Ouvrez l'appareil chaud et graissez légèrement les plaques de
cuisson avec du beurre, de la margarine ou de l'huile de
cuisson. Cela facilite le retrait des gaufres cuites.
•Répartissez la pâte sur la plaque de cuisson inférieure comme
indiqué dans les recettes. N’utilisez pas trop de pâte, sinon
cela coulera sur les côtés. Utilisez un verre doseur, une cuillère
ou un sac à douille. ATTENTION: N'utilisez pas d'outils en
plastique car ils pourraient fondre au contact des plaques de
cuisson.
•Fermez soigneusement le couvercle et fixez les parties
supérieure et inférieure du boîtier avec le clip de verrouillage.
Tournez le gaufrier afin que la pâte se répande uniformément.
•Faites cuire les gaufres selon le degré de cuisson désiré
(environ 3-5 minutes). Lorsque les gaufres sont prêtes, enlevez-
les avec une spatule en bois ou en plastique. N'utilisez pas
d'objets tranchants ou pointus ou d'objets métalliques, au
risque d’endommager le revêtement antiadhésif des plaques de cuisson.
•Une fois la cuisson terminée, débranchez le cordon d'alimentation et éteignez l’appareil
pour permettre aux plaques de cuisson de refroidir.

NETTOYAGE ET ENTRETIEN
•Débranchez l'appareil du secteur et laissez-le refroidir ainsi que les plaques avant de le
nettoyer.

graisse ne pénètre dans l'appareil.
•Frottez les plaques de cuisson avec un chiffon doux et humide ou du papier essuie-tout.
•Ne nettoyez pas l’appareil avec des objets métalliques ou des éponges abrasives.
•Ne plongez pas l'appareil dans l'eau ou d'autres liquides.
•Graissez légèrement l'appareil avant de l'utiliser à nouveau.

pour minimaliser la consommation de puissance, ce qui devrait selon la directive 1275/2008/CE
mettre le produit en mode éteint ou mode veille après avoir fini sa fonction principale, mais
ceci est pratiquement impossible, car cela nuirait à la fonction principale du produit si
fortement que l’utilisation du produit ne serait plus possible!
C’est pourquoi dans notre mode d’emploi nous disons toujours au client de débrancher la
fiche de la prise de courant dès qu’il a fini d’utiliser le produit.

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
Lees de gebruiksaanwijzing aandachtig alvorens u uw toestel
gebruikt, en respecteer altijd de veiligheids- en de
gebruiksvoorschriften.
Belangrijk: Het toestel mag worden gebruikt door kinderen van meer
dan 8 jaar oud en door personen met beperkte fysieke, sensoriële of
mentale capaciteiten of met een gebrek aan ervaring of kennis als ze
onder toezicht staan of vooraf instructies hebben gekregen
betreffende een veilig gebruik van het toestel en de risico’s die
ermee gepaard gaan. Kinderen mogen in geen geval met het toestel
spelen. Schoonmaak en onderhoud mogen niet worden uitgevoerd
door kinderen, tenzij ze 8 jaar of ouder zijn en onder toezicht staan.
Laat uw toestel en zijn snoer nooit zonder toezicht en binnen het
bereik van kinderen jonger dan 8 jaar of van ontoerekeningsvatbare

Gebruik geen accessoires die niet door de fabrikant werden
aanbevolen. Dit kan gevaarlijk zijn voor de gebruiker en het
toestel beschadigen.
Trek nooit aan het snoer om het toestel te verplaatsen. Zorg dat
het elektriciteitssnoer nergens kan achterhaken en daardoor de
val van het toestel veroorzaken. Draai het snoer niet rond het
toestel en plooi het niet.
Zet het toestel op een tafel of op een voldoende stabiel oppervlak
zodat het niet valt.
Wacht tot het toestel volledig is afgekoeld alvorens het te reinigen
of op te bergen.
Zorg dat het snoer niet in aanraking komt met de warme
onderdelen van het toestel.
Wanneer het toestel in werking is, kunnen toegankelijke
delen ervan een zeer hoge temperatuur bereiken. Raak deze
warme onderdelen niet aan.
Zorg ervoor dat de warme onderdelen van het toestel tijdens het
gebruik niet in aanraking komen met gemakkelijk ontvlambare
materialen, zoals gordijnen, een tafelkleed en dergelijke vermits
deze in brand zouden kunnen vliegen.
Let erop dat u de speciale bekleding van de bakplaat niet
schramt, vermits u hiervan stukjes in uw voedsel zou kunnen
vinden. Gebruik een klassieke houten spatel of een
warmtebestendige plastic spatel.
Trek de stekker uit het stopcontact als het toestel niet wordt
gebruikt, vermits het geen schakelaar bevat.
Kook enkel etenswaren geschikt om te koken en voor
consumptie.
Uw toestel mag nooit worden aangezet door middel van een
externe timer of een separaat systeem met afstandsbediening.
Opgelet: Wanneer het symbool op een bepaald oppervlak
gekleefd is, moet u voorzichtig zijn. Dit symbool betekent het
volgende: OPGELET, dit oppervlak kan tijdens het gebruik heel
warm worden.
Het symbool is altijd aangebracht op het oppervlak waarvan
de temperatuur het hoogst is, maar ook de andere metalen of
niet-metalen oppervlakken kunnen heel warm worden tijdens het

VOOR HET EERSTE GEBRUIK

TOEPASSINGSGEBIED / FUNCTIE
•Gebruik het apparaat alleen voor huishoudelijke doeleinden, zoals beschreven in de
gebruikershandleiding.
•Dit apparaat is geschikt voor thuisapplicaties en vergelijkbare toepassingen, zoals:
Keukens voorbehouden voor personeel in winkels, kantoren en andere professionele
omgevingen.
Boerderijen.
Gebruik door klanten van hotels, motels en andere woonomgevingen.
Omgevingen van het type pension.
ERMEE BEGINNEN
•Sluit het apparaat en sluit de stekker aan. Het rode bedrijfsindicatielampje gaat branden
om aan te geven dat het apparaat werkt en opwarmt.
•Zodra het apparaat de gewenste temperatuur bereikt, gaan beide groene lampjes
branden. Tijdens het gebruik worden deze lampen regelmatig in- en uitgeschakeld. Dit
betekent dat de bedrijfstemperatuur wordt geregeld.
•Let op! Tijdens gebruik worden de kookplaten heet. Raak ze niet aan!
•Open het hete apparaat en vet de kookplaten licht in met
boter, margarine of bakolie. Dit vergemakkelijkt het
verwijderen van gekookte wafels.
•Verdeel het deeg op de onderste bakplaat zoals getoond in
de recepten. Gebruik niet te veel deeg, anders zal het op de
zijkanten lopen. Gebruik een maatbeker, lepel of spuitzak.
VOORZICHTIG: Gebruik geen plastic gereedschap omdat
deze bij contact met de kookplaat zou smelten.
•Sluit het deksel voorzichtig en maak de boven- en onderkant
van de behuizing vast met de borgclip. Draai het wafelijzer
zodat het deeg gelijkmatig wordt verdeeld.
•Kook de wafels in de gewenste mate van bereiding
(ongeveer 3-5 minuten). Wanneer de wafels klaar zijn,
verwijder ze met een houten of plastic spatel. Gebruik geen
scherpe of puntige voorwerpen of metalen voorwerpen,
omdat dit de antiaanbaklaag van de kookplaten zou
beschadigen.
•Wanneer het koken is voltooid, koppel het netsnoer los en schakel het apparaat uit om de
kookplaat te laten afkoelen.
