Introduction
The laser rangefinder is a portable optoelectronic device that can be used to
measure distance and speed. It is a rangefinder that could measure at high
accuracy and fast speed with low power consumption. It is also able to
identify small targets (such as flagpoles) and ignore distracting background
objects, like trees or bushes.

Use of the device
The rangefinder has two buttons: the power button “ ” (A) and the mode button
“MODE” (B).
Power on
Short press power button to turn on the rangefinder. It
enters into distance measuring mode. The LCD will
display as shown in the picture beside.
Note: The device will turn off automatically after not using
it for 1 minute.
Adjust focus
Look through the eyepiece, rotate the eyepiece clockwise or counter-clockwise
until the view is clearly in focus. People with farsighted or short-sighted vision
can use the rangefinder within a range of -5 to +5 dioptre without wearing
glasses.
Change mode and units
Short press the mode button (B) to switch the mode. Long press the mode
button (B) to switch units. Modes are “Measure”, “Fog, “Pin seeker”, “Speed”.
Units are“M” for Meter or “Y” for Yards in the distance measuring. “KM/H” for
Kilometres per hour or “M/S” Metre per Second in the speed.
Low Battery
When the battery indicator “ ” is shown in the display, please replace the
battery. Open the battery compartment and replace the 2 AAA batteries with
new ones.
Note: Please ensure the correct polarity of the battery.

Modes
Pin seeker mode
Especially for golfing, this mode is very useful. To measure the distance to the
pin flag, activate this mode. The flag will be tracked and isolated from the
background. Move the target centre around the pin flag while scanning. The
flag distance will be measured exactly.
Press the power button shortly and the distance value will be displayed. Hold
the power button and continuously measuring around flagpole until the value
is stable. This value is the distance to the flagpole.
Fog mode
Thru the fog, you will not be able to measure distant targets because the fog
will reflect the laser. This mode will filter the reflected laser within the first 30
meters. Now the measure of the distance is not caused by errors by fog
reflecting lasers.
Short press the power button to measure in fog mode the distance to an object.
Speed mode
For speed measuring of moving objects, ranging is measured twice. Two
distance difference, divided by the time interval of the two ranging
measurements, the speed of moving objects can be obtained.
Aim at the object and short press the power button. Keep aiming at the object
while it moves towards you or away from you until the speed value displays on
the screen.
Troubleshooting
Q: The device cannot be switched on
A: Battery may be empty. Replace the 2 AAA batteries with new ones.
Q: Can I use rechargeable batteries?
A: Yes, rechargeable batteries are useable.
Q: The measured value can’t be displayed
A1: Be sure the laser emission and receiving lens is clean.
A2: The measuring range of the rangefinder could be influenced by the angle
of the targets. Be sure it can reflect the laser towards the rangefinder.
Q: The speed measuring can’t be displayed
A: The to be measured target should be moves towards you or away from you.

Safety instructions
WARNING Class 1 laser product.
WARNING Do not stare into the laser beam or view it directly with optical
instruments.
Important Hints
● The measuring range of the rangefinder could be influenced by the angle
between the laser and the targets. The measuring range is better when there
is a smooth surface, bright colour, big surface of targets, and an orthogonal
angle between the laser and the target. ● A low battery can affect accuracy.
●If you do not use the rangefinder for a long time, please take the battery out.
● If the external lens is stained, please clean it gently with the attached lens
cloth. ● Collision or high pressure should be avoided when carrying about or
operating. ● Keep the device in a dry, cool and airy place and avoid dust, direct
sunshine and extreme change of temperature. ●If the device was subjected to
extreme temperature fluctuations, wait around 2 hours until the device has
reached ambient temperature before use.
DO NOT
●Do not look directly into the Laser emission lens while tracking. ● Do not
touch the eyepiece directly in order to avoid damage. This device has been
accurately aligned and adjusted with precise equipment. Never disassemble it.
● Do not point the laser towards the sun or strong light, to prevent the
photosensitive element from damages. ●Do not use other materials for
cleaning as the given to prevent the coating from being damaged.
