INTRODUZIONE / INTRODUCTION
Il presente manuale include la descrizione tecnica, il funzionamento, installazione e istruzioni di montaggio, dati tecnici
per l’aspiratore estrattore con rigenerazione di energia “AIR PUR 3 PLUS”, nel seguito denominato recuperatore.
REQUISITI DI SICUREZZA/ SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Leggere il manuale dell‘utente con attenzione prima dell’utilizzo e dell’installazione del recuperatore reversibile
a camera singola con rigenerazione di energia.
L’installazione e il funzionamento del recuperatore devono essere effettuati in conformità con il manuale
dell’utente, nonché le disposizioni di normative e leggi locali e nazionali e norme tecniche ed elettriche applicabili.
Le avvertenze contenute nel manuale dell’utente devono essere considerate attentamente in quanto contengono
informazioni vitali per la sicurezza personale.
La mancata osservanza delle norme di sicurezza può provocare danni al recuperatore. Leggere attentamente il
manuale e tenerlo fino a quando si usa il recuperatore.

The installation and the operation of the recovery unit must be carried out in compliance with the user manual, as well
as with applicable legislations, local and national laws and technical and electrical regulations. The warnings, contained

Failure to follow the safety rules can result in damage to the recovery unit. Read this manual carefully and keep it for as
long as the recovery unit is used.

USO DEL RECUPERATORE
/ USE OF THE RECOVERY UNIT
Il recuperatore è stato progettato per garantire il ricambio d’aria in appartamenti, agriturismi, alberghi, bar e in
generale locali domestici e pubblici.
Il recuperatore è dotato di uno scambiatore in plastica che permette il ricircolo d’aria grazie alla rigenerazione di
energia con il calore dell’aria in ingresso.
Il recuperatore è testato per il funzionamento continuo sempre collegato alla rete elettrica.
L’aria trasportata non deve contenere miscele infiammabili o esplosive, vapori di sostanze chimiche, polveri
grossolane, fuliggine e particelle di olio, sostanze appiccicose, materiali fibrosi, agenti patogeni o altre sostanze
nocive.
This manual includes the technical description, operation, installation and assembly instructions, technical data for the
intake extractor unit with energy regeneration “AIR PUR 3 PLUS”, hereinafter referred to as recovery unit.
The recovery unit was designed to ensure the air exchange in apartments, holiday farms, hotels, bars and, in general,
domestic and public places.
The recovery unit is fitted with a ceramic exchanger which allows the air recirculation thanks to the energy regeneration
with the heat from the intake air.
The recovery unit was tested for continuous operation connected always to be mains supply.
The transported air must not contain flammable or explosive mixtures, chemical substance vapours, large dust particles,
soot and oil particles, dangerous substances, fibrous materials, pathogenic agents or other harmful substances.

fino a +50 ° C e umidità relativa fino al 80%.

I recuperatori di calore Tecnosystemi nelle tre versioni 160 / 230 / 300, sono impiegati per la areazione bilanciata
di attività commerciali (negozi, ristoranti ecc.), residenziali e comunque adattabili a tutti quegli ambienti ove sia
necessario avere un ricambio d’aria, evitando però la dispersione della temperatura interna.
Il principio del recuperatore e quello di immettere in modo continuo aria fresca e pulita prelevata dall’esterno e,
contemporaneamente l’aria viziata contenuta nei locali viene espulsa all’esterno assieme a fumo, odori, ecc..
Ciò che rende possibile questo tipo di operazione è il pacco di scambio contenuto nel recuperatore . Grazie alla
struttura del pacco di scambio l’aria che viene espulsa all’esterno cede il proprio calore all’aria pulita in ingresso senza
che i due flussi d’aria vengano mai in nessun modo a contatto tra di loro.
Due filtri inseriti nel recuperatore davanti alle bocche di aspirazione assicurano l’ingresso di aria depurata da particelle
e polveri. I vantaggi di questo sistema sono molteplici, si ottiene un efficace ricambio d’aria, la temperatura interna del
locale rimane costante, l’umidità relativa viene ridotta notevolmente.
Il funzionamento del recuperatore di calore è possibile grazie al pacco di scambio e a due ventilatori che provvedono
ad aspirare/espellere l’aria.

The Tecnosystemi heat recovery units in the three versions 160 / 230 / 300, are used to balance ventilation in commercial
establishments (shops, restaurants, etc.) as well as in residential environments but they are, in any case, perfectly adaptable
to any location where air needs to be refreshed but without, however, dispersing the interior temperature.
The principle of the heat recovery unit is to constantly introduce fresh and clean air, drawn from outside, whilst simultaneously
expelling stale air, from within the premises, to the outside, along with smoke, odours, etc.
This type of operation is possible thanks to the exchange package, contained in the heat recovery unit. Owing to the structure
of the exchange package, the air, which is expelled outside, transfers its own heat to the clean incoming air, without the two
flows ever coming into contact one with the other.
Two filters placed in the heat recovery unit, in front of the suction inlets, assure the entrance of air, free from particles and
dust. The advantages of this system are multiple: it is possible to obtain an efficient air exchange, the inside temperature of
the premise remains constant, the relative humidity is remarkably reduced.
The functioning of the heat recovery unit is possible thanks to the exchange package and to the two fans, which provide for
air suction/discharge.

AUTO 3 - MODALITÀ COMFORT - ESTATE

Il sistema è in stand-by. Quando la
temperatura esterna è inferiore a quella
interna il recuperatore passa in modalità
immissione alla velocità massima. Al
ripristino del valore di temperatura la
macchina ritorna in stand-by. / The
system is on standby. When the external
temperature is lower than the internal
one, the heat recovery unit goes onto high-
speed output mode. When the temperature
recovers its value the unit goes back onto
standby.
AUTO 6
Il sistema è in stand-by, al superamento della soglia di
co2 pari a 800 ppmv, il recuperatore passa in modalità
estrazione alla velocità massima; al ripristino del
valore di co2 la macchina ritorna in stand-by. / The
system is on standby. When the CO2 threshold of
800 ppmv is exceeded, the heat recovery unit goes
onto high-speed recovery mode. When the CO2 value
recovers the unit goes back onto standby.
AUTO 5
Il sistema è in stand-by, al superamento della soglia di
co2 pari a 800 ppmv, il recuperatore passa in modalità
recupero alla velocità massima; al ripristino del valore
di co2 la macchina ritorna in stand-by. / The system is
on standby. When the Co2 threshold of 800 ppmv is
exceeded, the heat recovery unit goes onto high-speed
output. When the Co2 value recovers the unit goes
back onto standby.
AUTO 4 - MODALITÀ COMFORT INVERNO / WINTER
COMFORT MODE Il sistema è in stand-by, quando
la temperatura esterna è superiore a quella interna
il recuperatore passa in modalità immissione alla
velocità massima.Al ripristinodel valoredi temperatura
la macchina ritorna in stand-by. / The system is on
standby. When the external temperature is higher than
the internal one, the heat recovery unit goes onto high-
speed output mode. When the temperature recovers its
value the unit goes back onto standby.

AUTO 2
Il sistema è in stand-by, quando l’aria nell’ambiente
supera la soglia di umidità impostabile al 40%, 50% o
60%, l’apparecchio si attiva in sola estrazione fino a
riportare l’umidità entro il valore richiesto.

exceeds the threshold of settable humidity at 40%,
50% or 60%, the device switches to recovery only
mode until the humidity level falls within the set
values.

Il sistema è in stand-by, quando l’aria nell’ambiente
supera la soglia di umidità impostabile al 40%, 50% o
60%, l’apparecchio si attiva in funzione di recupero
fino a riportare l’umidità entro il valore richiesto.

Per impostare il valore di umidità desiderato (40%, 50% o 60%) procedere nel modo seguente:
• Selezionare, tramite il telecomando, la modalità AUTO 1 (led giallo) o AUTO 2 (led bianco).
• Premere il tasto “ON”.
• Il colore del led, passa da giallo (o bianco) a blu.
• Utilizzare i tasti impiegati per modificare la velocità delle ventole per selezionare il valore di umidità desiderato.
Tasto velocità minima valore di umidità 40%, tasto velocità media valore di umidità 50%, tasto velocità massima
valore di umidità 60%.
• Selezionando il valore di umidità desiderato il colore del led passerà da blu a giallo (o bianco) e si noterà quanto
segue:
• Valore selezionato 60% ( tasto velocità massima), il led passa dal colore blu al giallo (o bianco) si vedranno 3 lampeggi
e si udirà un segnale sonoro. Al completamento di questa operazione il led giallo (o bianco) rimarrà fisso a conferma
che il valore di umidità selezionato è stato correttamente impostato.
• Valore selezionato 50% ( tasto velocità media), il led passa dal colore blu al giallo (o bianco) si vedranno 2 lampeggi
e si udirà un segnale sonoro. Al completamento di questa operazione il led giallo (o bianco) rimarrà fisso a conferma
che il valore di umidità selezionato è stato correttamente impostato.
• Valore selezionato 40% ( tasto velocità minima), il led passa dal colore blu al giallo (o bianco) si vedrà 1 lampeggio e
si udirà un segnale sonoro. Al completamento di questa operazione il led giallo (o bianco) rimarrà fisso a conferma
che il valore di umidità selezionato è stato correttamente impostato.
N.B: Il valore di umidità impostato di fabbrica è pari al 40%

/ SETTING THE HUMIDITY VALUE
To set the value of the desired humidity (40%, 50% or 60%) proceed as
follows:
• Using remote control, select AUTO 1 mode 1 (yellow LED) or AUTO 2
(white
LED).
• Press the “ON” key.
• The colour of the LED changes from yellow (or white) to blue.
• Use the keys for changing the speed of the fans to select the
desired humidity value. Key for minimum speed 40% humidity, key for
medium speed 50% humidity, key for maximum speed 60% humidity
• By selecting the desired humidity value, the colour of the LED will
change from blue to yellow (or white) and you will notice the following:
• Selected value 60% (key for maximum speed), the LED changes from
blue to yellow
(or white) and you will see 3 flashes and hear an audible signal. When
this operation is completed, the yellow (or white) LED will remain fixed
to confirm that the humidity value you selected has been set correctly.
• Selected value 50% (key for medium speed), the LED changes from blue
to yellow
(or white) and you will see 2 flashes and hear an audible signal. When
this operation is completed, the yellow (or white) LED will remain fixed
to confirm that the humidity value you selected has been set correctly.
• Selected value 40% (key for minimum speed), the LED changes from
blue to yellow
(or white) and you will see 1 flash and hear an audible signal. When
this operation is completed, the yellow (or white) LED will remain fixed
to confirm that the humidity value you selected has been set correctly.
N.B: The factory setting for the humidity value is 40%

INSTALLAZIONE RECUPERATORI AD INCASSO
Per installare i recuperatori di calore ad incasso è necessario prevedere sulla muratura un foro rettangolare di
dimensioni minime pari a 49 cm di lunghezza x 23 cm di altezza per permettere l’inserimento della scocca metallica,
e uno scarico ulteriore per permettere il passaggio del tubo per l’acqua di condensa.
Aperto l’imballo della macchina smontate la griglia interna del recuperatore e togliere il pacco di scambio per
agevolare l’operazione di installazione.
Dividere il corpo recuperatore dal plenum telescopico e smontare la griglia esterna.
Il corpo recuperatore va posizionato dall’interno del locale nel foro precedentemente realizzato avendo cura di far
andare in battuta le due linguette esterne con il filo del muro. Il fissaggio alla muratura avviene utilizzando le apposite
linguette metalliche dentellate che vanno annegate nel cemento in fase di messa in opera.
Il plenum telescopico di collegamento va posizionato dall’esterno del locale avendo cura di far coincidere la battuta
dello stesso con il filo muro, per il suo fissaggio utilizzare le linguette dentellate ricavate sullo stesso plenum
annegandole nel cemento.
Tagliare i 2 separatori che dividono i flussi d’aria in aspirazione/espulsione in maniera da permettere il loro inserimento
nella sede prevista sulla griglia esterna.
Attenzione il recuperatore è dotato di uno scarico per l’acqua della condensa. È importante prevedere in questa fase
di messa in opera il tubo per smaltire l’eventuale condensa.
Collegare il tubo di scarico facendolo uscire dall’apposito foro realizzato sulla griglia esterna.
Una volta fissato il corpo recuperatore e il plenum telescopico inserire il pacco di scambio nella sua sede e montare la
griglia interna avendo prima cura di collegare i morsetti elettrici di alimentazione del pannello di controllo.
Montare la griglia esterna avendo cura di verificare la corretta posizione dei separatori di flusso
BUILT-IN RECOVERY UNIT INSTALLATION
To install a built-in heat recovery unit, a rectangular opening in the wall is needed with minimum dimensions of 49 cm in
length x 23 cm in height in order to allow the metal body to be inserted, and a further drainage point to allow the tube for
condensation to pass.
Once the machine’s packaging has been opened, remove the recovery unit’s internal grille and remove the exchange package
in order to proceed with the installation operation.
Separate the recovery unit body from the telescopic assembly and remove the external grille.
The recovery unit body is to be positioned from the inside of the room into the opening made previously, making sure that the
two outer tabs are in line with the edge of the wall. Fixing to the masonry is done with the special serrated metal tabs which
must be embedded in cement during the installation phase.
The telescopic connection assembly is to be positioned from the outside of the room, making sure that the frame is in line
with the edge of the wall. To fix it, use the serrated tabs extracted on the same assembly, embedding them in cement.
Cut the 2 dividers which separate the suction/expulsion air flows in such a way that they can be inserted into the seat
provided on the external grille.
Note: the recovery unit comes with a drain for condensation. It is important to provide the tube to run any condensation away
at this stage of the operation.
Connect the drainage tube, making it come out of the hole made in the external grille.
Once the recovery unit body and the telescopic assembly are fixed, insert the exchange package into its seat and assemble the
internal grille, making sure to connect the control panel’s electrical power supply terminals.
Assemble the external grille, making sure to check the correct position of the flow dividers.

INSTALLAZIONE RECUPERATORI A PARETE
Per installare i recuperatori di calore a parete è necessario prevedere sulla muratura n°2 fori con diametro pari a
170 mm per l’aspirazione e l’espulsione dell’aria e un foro pari a 25 mm per il tubo di scarico dell’eventuale acqua di
condensa.
Aperto l’imballo della macchina smontate la griglia interna del recuperatore e togliere il pacco di scambio per
agevolare l’operazione di installazione.
Dividere il corpo recuperatore dalla scocca.
Il corpo recuperatore va fissato alla muratura utilizzando il fissaggio idoneo in relazione alla tipologia di muratura.
Tagliare i tubi in plastica in base allo spessore della muratura.
Collegare il tubo di scarico facendolo uscire dall’apposito foro realizzato sulla griglia esterna.
Una volta fissato il corpo recuperatore inserire il pacco di scambio nella sua sede, posizionare la scocca e montare la
griglia interna avendo prima cura di collegare i morsetti elettrici di alimentazione del pannello di controllo.
Montare la griglia esterna avendo cura di verificare la corretta posizione dei tubi in plastica e del tubo di scarico
condensa.
WALL-MOUNTED RECOVERY UNIT INSTALLATION
To install a wall-mounted heat recovery unit, 2 holes are needed in the wall with a diameter of 170 mm, for air suction and
expulsion, and a hole of 25 mm is needed for the drainage tube for any condensation.
Once the machine’s packaging has been opened, remove the recovery unit’s internal grille and remove the exchange package
in order to proceed with the installation operation.
Separate the recovery unit from the body.
The recovery unit body is to be fixed to the wall using a fixing suitable for the type of wall.
Cut the plastic tubes according to the thickness of the wall.
Connect the drainage tube, making it come out of the hole made in the external grille.
Once the recovery unit body is fixed, insert the exchange package into its seat, position the body and assemble the internal
grille, making sure to connect the control panel’s electrical power supply terminals.
Assemble the external grille, making sure to check the correct position of the plastic tubes and the drainage tube for
condensation.

Heat recovery units require periodic maintenance (at least once every 6 months), which is required in order to optimise their
operation.
Access to the filters and the exchange package, which can be removed to wash them, is via the two grilles.
The cleaning of the filters must be carried out with a specific detergent for filters, the exchange package must be cleaned
and blown with compressed air.
IMPORTANT!
BEFORE PERFORMING ANY CLEANING OR MAINTENANCE OPERATION, DISCONNECT THE EQUIPMENT FROM THE
POWER SUPPLY USING THE MAIN SWITCH.
FISSAGGIO RECUPERATORI A PARETE
/ FIXING THE WALL-MOUNTED RECOVERY UNIT
I recuperatori di calore necessitano di una manutenzione periodica (almeno ogni 6 mesi) che si rende necessaria al
fine di ottimizzare il loro funzionamento.
L’accesso ai filtri e al pacco di scambio, facilmente estraibili per agevolarne la pulizia, avviene tramite le due griglie.
La pulizia dei filtri dev’essere effettuata con un detergente specifico per filtri, il pacco di scambio va pulito e soffiato
con aria compressa.

Manutenzione rigeneratore e filtro (ogni 1500 ore).
Togliere il filtro davanti al rigeneratore. Tirare il cordino del rigeneratore per togliere il rigeneratore dal condotto aria.
Prestare attenzione quando si estrae il rigeneratore, per evitare danni. Togliere il filtro dopo il rigeneratore. Pulire
il filtro quando si sporca (ogni 1500 ore). Quando termina un periodo di funzionamento di 1500 ore, il ventilatore
emette un segnale luminoso rosso come promemoria della necessità di sostituire o pulire il filtro. Il segnale si ripete
fino a quando è stata completata la manutenzione.
Pulire i filtri, lasciarli asciugare e inserire i filtri asciutti nel condotto. L’aspirazione è consentita. La durata di vita attesa
dei filtri è di circa 1 anno. Contattare il venditore per i filtri di ricambio.
Anche la manutenzione regolare può non impedire completamente l’accumulo di sporco sul gruppo rigeneratore.

Maintenance of the regenerator and of the filter
(every 1,500 hours).
Remove the filter in front of the regenerator. Pull the cord of the
regenerator in order to remove the regenerator from the air duct. Take
care when extracting the regenerator to avoid damaging it. Remove the
filter behind the regenerator. Clean the filter when it is dirty (every 1,500
hours). When the 1,500 hour operation period ends, a red indicator LED
lights up on the fan as a reminder of the need to replace or clean the filter.
The signal is repeated until the maintenance has been completed. Clean

The external ventilation grille can get blocked by leaves or other objects which prevent the unit from working properly. Check
the ventilation grille twice a year and clean it whenever necessary.
To clean the ventilation grille, remove it, then clean the air duct.

oggetti che impediscono il buon funzionamento dell’unità. Controllare
la griglia di ventilazione due volte l’anno e pulirla tutte le volte che è
necessario. Per pulire la griglia di ventilazione, smontarla, poi pulire
il condotto aria.
