The PROTUB device must NOT be used for purposes other than those described in these operating
instructions.
Before starting up the equipment, make sure that all electrical and fluid connections are correct.
Before starting the equipment, make sure that the brush is inside the duct to be cleaned

LEGEND
PROTUB is an electric brushing machine for cleaning and chimney sweeping inside chimneys for professional
use with a maximum diameter of 400 mm; cleaning the inside of tubes in heat exchangers, both Pyrotubular
and Aquatubular, with a minimum diameter of 12 mm; and ventilation or air conditioning ducts, with a maxi-
mum diameter of 400 mm. Appropriate accessories shall be provided for each duct.
A 6 mm diameter flexible rotor shaft can be fitted, so that 10 metres of pipe can be cleaned from a single point
on the pipe, or a 10 mm diameter flexible rotor shaft can be fitted, so that 15 metres of pipe can be cleaned
from a single point on the pipe. It can be used in flues and extraction hoods.

function, both buttons must always be pressed at the same
time.

to the right.

Steps for a correct installation of your PROTUB:
Placement of your PROTUB:

Place your PROTUB on a smooth and stable surface.
The connection is made by means of the electrical connection
cable supplied with the equipment. This cable consists of a standard
connection to the mains. Connect the cable to the mains.
Your PROTUB can be fitted with two types of flexible rotor shafts
(one ø6 mm and one ø10 mm) designed specifically for this machine.
The connection is made by means of a quick connector on the side
of the flexible shaft as shown in the picture.

Connection to a mains water supply:

Connect the hose to a water supply with a minimum pressure of 2
bar. Adapters for different taps are available as optional accessories.
Connect the hose to your PROTUB as shown in the picture.

The head of the flexible rotating shafts of your PROTUB is designed taking into account the possibility of the
incorporation of special brushes with which the work can be carried out more efficiently and comfortably.
These brushes are only supplied by Teinnova.
Thread the brush onto the flexible rotor shaft adapter as shown in
the figure.
If the equipment is to be used without mains water
supply, the time of use should be moderated to avoid
excessive heating due to friction.

Once the brush touches the face of the flexible rotor shaft adapter
nut, both the nut and the brush are tightened in the directions of
rotation shown in the figure.
Loosen the nut and the brush, turning each part in the opposite
direction, as shown in the figure.
Unscrew the brush and remove it as shown in the figure.
