The ROTAIR equipment must NOT be used for purposes other than those described in this instruction
manual.
Before starting up the equipment, make sure that all connections are correct.
Before starting the equipment, make sure that the brush is inside the duct to be cleaned.
Be careful to place your ROTAIR on a smooth and stable surface. Lock the brakes on the rear wheels so
that the machine remains stable while working.
Persons operating ROTAIR equipment must be sufficiently trained.
Hold the hose firmly before operating the brush motor. Keep a firm grip on the hose at all times while
operating the brush.
Safety goggles must be worn to prevent dust splashes from reaching the operator’s eyes.
Properly tie down the ROTAIR and activate the wheel lock during transport in a vehicle.
Keep objects, loose clothing, hair etc. Away from moving parts of the machine.
Do not handle the equipment with wet or damp hands.
Do not use the equipment in environments with liquid fuels.
To avoid electric shock, never expose the equipment to rain. Store the equipment indoors in a cool, dry
place.

ROTAIR is an electric brushing machine for the cleaning of air-conditioning ducts, both circular, with diameters
of 200-600 mm, and rectangular.
Appropriate fittings shall be provided for each duct.
It can be used in flues and extraction hoods.

Steps for a correct installation of your ROTAIR:
Fitting your ROTAIR:

Place your ROTAIR on a smooth and stable surface. Once the
machine is in an optimal position for the work to be carried out, lock
the brakes on the rear wheels so that the machine remains stable.

Remove the electrical connection cable from the brackets and
connect it to the mains.

Align the brush retaining hole in the disc retaining bolt
placed in the previous assembly step.
Brush assembly:

The head of your ROTAIR is designed taking into account the possibility of incorporating special brushes with
which the work can be carried out more efficiently and comfortably. These brushes are only supplied by
TEINNOVA.
Fit the first retaining disc as shown in the figure.
Position the brush as shown in the figure.
Fit the second retaining disc and tighten the locking knob as shown
in the figure.

Assembly of the centring device:

Mount the body of the centring device on the hose end of your
ROTAIR as shown in the figure and fix it with two knobs.
Make sure to set it at 370mm, as shown in the picture, so that the work
is done properly.
Position the legs of the centring device by opening the positioners,
adjusting them to the size of the duct where the work is to be
carried out. Release the positioners to fix them.
There are two types of legs, one for square ducts, which are larger,
and one for circular ducts, which are smaller.
Both will be marked to avoid any confusion.

Unlock the hose reel brake:
Once the work is completed, pick up the hose and lock the reel
brake of your ROTAIR as shown in the figure.
Unlock the reel brake of your ROTAIR as shown in the figure. Once
the reel is released, release the necessary metres to place the brush
inside the duct and start working.

Remember not to operate the brush when it is outside
the duct as this may cause damage to persons or
objects.
DO NOT subject the hose to very tight angle bends, as
this may break the reinforcement guide inside the hose.
