Before You Begin
The Teladoc Health TV should be installed by an IT Professional to ensure proper setup
and network configuration.
Before setting up your Teladoc Health TV, review the Teladoc Health Telehealth Network
Specifications document (MB-14011) to configure your network to optimize the telehealth
consultation experience. If you do not have the Telehealth Network Specifications
document, please contact your local TeladocHealth Product Specialist.
It is not recommended that the Teladoc Health TV be shut down, but if shut down is
required, follow the procedure "Powering Off the Teladoc Health TV " on page17.

TV Hardware Setup

into available HDMI port on
television or monitor, use the
extender cable if necessary.
lNote the HDMI port
number for use
when setting up the
software.

Teladoc Health TV.

5. Plug the power adapter into an
electrical outlet.
The Teladoc Health TV will
automatically power-on once
connected to power. A blue
light will appear on the Teladoc
Health TV, indicating the
power is ON.
Connect your Keyboard, USB Webcam, speaker, and microphone. For more details, refer to the Intel
Compute Stick’s Quick Reference Guide, included in the Teladoc Health TV Essential box.

Software Installation
Be sure all hardware is connected before completing the following steps.
NOTE: If software has already been installed, go to "Schedule a Test Session" on
page17.

will start-up. Wait for any
software updates to
complete.
For Televisions, consult your
television’s user guide for
instructions to adjust the
screen’s aspect ratio if the
Teladoc Health application does
not fit the screen.

Teladoc Health TV.
Slide the power switch on the
keyboard to turn on the
Bluetooth keyboard.
A solid light means the
keyboard is connected.
NOTE: If the keyboard
loses connectivity,
toggle the on/off switch
and then press the
Bluetooth button.

microphone and to ensure the
microphone picks up your voice.
The audio bar will fluctuate to
indicate voice detection.
Click Next.

from the dropdown list that is
attached to the Teladoc Health
TV:
lTV and TVPro, select
Phnx MT202pcs
Click Test Speakers to test the
audio.
Adjust the blue slider bar to
raise or lower the volume as
necessary.
Click Next.

marks appear next to the video,
microphone, and speaker icons.

lower, right corner of the screen
to confirm connectivity to the
Teladoc Health Telehealth
Network.

“Registered” under the Server
Connectivity Status for the:

return exit the Diagnostic
Information screen.

Schedule a Test Session
NOTES:
lThese steps must be completed prior to granting connectivity between the
Provider Access Software and the Teladoc Health TV for clinical use.
lIt may take up to a day to receive a response for the request for test.
lBefore scheduling the test session, make sure all areas where the Teladoc
Health TV is are to be used are available at the time of the test.
1. Email [email protected] for Performance Verification of the
Teladoc Health TV installation.
2. You will receive an email from Teladoc Health Technical Service to complete
setup and to schedule a test session within one business day.
Powering Off the Teladoc Health TV
There is no need to power OFF the Teladoc Health TV if simply turning off the display.

NOTE:This process needs to be done if moving the Teladoc Health TV to a
different display or location.
1. Click the icon on the top, right corner to
minimize the application.
2. Click the icon.
3. Click the power icon.
4. Select Shut down.
lSelect ‘Yes’ to confirm shutdown.
If the is not available, using an attached keyboard,
1. Press the key.
2. Select the power icon.
3. Select Shut down.
If a keyboard is not available, press and hold the power button on the Teladoc Health TV
for five seconds, until the LEDturns off.

Troubleshooting
No video showing on display
lConfirm the display is turned on.
lMake sure the Teladoc Health TV is powered on.
lFollowing the display's manufacturer’s procedures, verify the display is
set to the HDMIinput that corresponds to where the Teladoc Health
TV is connected to the display.
lVerify the Teladoc Health TV is plugged in fully to the HDMIinput. If
using the HDMIextension cable, verify both ends are properly
connected.
