(Steckernetzteil) und vom Netzwerk bzw. Telefonanschluss getrennt sind und die einschlägigen

Längere, direkte Sonneneinstrahlung kann zu einer starken Erhitzung des Gerätes führen,
insbesondere bei Geräten mit dunkler Frontblende oder bei Einbau des Gerätes in eine isolierte
Wand. In einem solchen Fall muss das Gerät vor dem Ausbau ausreichend lange abkühlen.
Seien Sie vor allem vorsichtig beim Berühren des Elektronikgehäuses!

ihren Kunden.

1.2. Allgemeines
Der gelieferte USB-Hub dient ausschließlich
zur Montage an einem Behnke USB-Kartenleser
20-2540-BS. Der Behnke USB-Hub dient dazu,
eine weiteres Behnke USB-Gerät am USB-
Anschluss der SIP-Sprechstelle IP 3.0
(20-0001B-IP, 20-0014B-IP, 20-0016B-IP) oder
an der Hybrid-Sprechstelle (20-0001-BS,
20-0014-BS, 20-0016-BS) zu betreiben. Die
Energieversorgung des Behnke USB-Hub, des
Behnke USB-Kartenlesers und einem weiteren
Behnke USB-Gerät am freien Port des USB-Hub
erfolgt durch den Betrieb des Behnke-USB-Hub
am USB-Port der Sprechstelle.

Installation
Die Schrauben im Deckel lösen
und den Deckel sehr vorsichtig
abheben.
Achtung: Anschlusskabel auf der
Platine aufgesteckt!

2.1. Montage Behnke USB-Hub auf Behnke USB-Kartenleser
Wie im folgenden beschrieben, den Behnke USB-Kartenleser demontieren, den USB-Hub installie-
ren und danach wieder in Betrieb nehmen. Am zusätzliche Port kann ein weiteres Behnke USB-
Gerät mit einer maximalen Leistungsaufnahme von 1,3 W betrieben werden.

Please note that Behnke intercom stations and accessories may only to be installed and serviced by
qualified electricians, IT and telecommunications technicians who comply with the corresponding
norms and regulations.
Before carrying out service and maintenance work, please ensure that the devices are safely
disconnected from the power grid (unplug power supply unit) and are disconnected from any other
network and that all relevant safety regulations will be maintained.
Prolonged direct exposure to sunlight can cause the device to heat up considerably, especially for
devices with a dark front panel or when the device is installed in an insulated wall.
In such a case, the device must be cooled for a sufficiently long time before removal.
Above all, be careful when touching the electronics housing!
Please hand over this manual with the corresponding information about the intercom station to
your customer.

1.2. General informations
The supplied USB hub must only be mounted on
a Behnke USB card reader 20-2540-BS.
The Behnke USB hub is used to operate another
Behnke USB device on the USB port of the
SIP IP 3.0 intercom station (20-0001B-IP,
20-0014B-IP, 20-0016B-IP) or on the hybrid
intercom station (20-0001-BS, 20-0014-BS,
20-0016-BS). Power is supplied to the Behnke
USB hub, the Behnke USB card reader and
another Behnke USB device at the free port of
the USB hub by operating the Behnke USB hub
at the USB port of the intercom station.

2.1. Mounting of Behnke USB hub to the Behnke USB card reader
As described below, disassemble the Behnke USB card reader, install the USB hub and then put it
back into operation. Another Behnke USB device with a maximum power consumption of 1.3 W can
be operated at the additional port.
Loosen the screws in the cover
and very carefully lift it off.
Please note: Connection cable
plugged onto the board!
Carefully disconnect the connec-

Une exposition directe et prolongée au soleil peut entraîner un échauffement important de
l‘appareil, en particulier pour les appareils ayant une façade sombre ou lorsque les appareils
installés dans des parois isolées.
Dans ce cas, laisser l‘appareil refroidir suffisamment longtemps avant de le démonter. Il convient

USB est assurée par le fonctionnement du
