Monthly Testing
We recommend testing your device once a month by pressing the button
Fall Detection Pendant (optional)
If you do fall, always press and hold the button for help when possible.
If you encounter a false alarm from the automatic fall detection, simply let the
operator know you are safe.
If the call connects, kindly let the operator know that it is a test call
If the call does not connect, call 1-888-505-8008 for support.

Coverage in the Home
Please place the Base Unit in a central location within the home, with an electrical
outlet and telephone jack nearby.
The pendant will only work within wireless range of the base station within the house.
You can perform test calls in parts of the house that are further away from the Base
Unit to understand where dead zones may be located.
The pendant will not work outside of the house.

Is the Pendant Water-resistant?
Yes, the pendant is water-resistant so you can wear it safely while showering or bathing.
Multiple Phones in Home
If there are multiple phones in the home please unplug all phones from the wall
socket EXCEPT the phone plugged into the LWC Home device.
This is a precaution in case one of the phones is in use or off the hook when an
emergency is trying to be reported.
The is only an interim solution until TELUS can enter the home at a future date.
