refrigerant(-30°C)cancausefreezing. Contactwithrefrigerantmaycausefrostbite, blindness
andotherseriouspersonalinjury.
IMPORTANT!! Atall timesitisrecommendedtowearsuitablepersonalprotective
equipmentPPE(Overalls, SafetyGlasses/gogglesandGloves).
Werecommendthatthisequipmentisusedbytrainedpersonnelonly,whounderstandthe
basicsofcooling systems,refrigerantsandpossibledamagethatpressurizedequipmentmay
cause.Itis mandatoryintheUKthattheOperatorisqualifiedinaccordancewithEC802-2006.
Carefullyreadtheinstructionscontainedinthismanualandstrictlyadheretotheprocedures
described. ThisisparamounttoOperatorsafety.
TheequipmentmustalwaysbeusedundertheOperator’scontrol.
Donotoperatetheunitwithanyrefrigerantotherthantheoneithasbeendesignedfor.(i.e.
R134AorR1234YF).
Beforeeachnewvehicleconnection,ensurethattheLP&HPhoseshavebeenpreviously
evacuatedandthatzeropressureisshownonbothgauges.
Avoidbreathing refrigerantvapours. Onlyoperatetheunitinwellventilatedareas, do notuse
whileworkinginavehicleinspectionpit.
Donotoperatenearopenflamesandhotsurfaces.Hightemperaturescauserefrigerantto
decompose, releasing hazardoustoxicandcausticsubstances.
Alwaysconnectedtheunittoa3pin,protectedandsuitablyearthed,mains240vACsupply.
Useoftrailing socketsandextensionleadsarenotrecommended.
Beforeconnectinganddisconnectingtheunit,ensurethatanyprogrammedoperationcyclehas
beencompletedandthatall valves areclosedtoavoidreleaseofrefrigeranttotheatmosphere.
Neverfillanytank, internalorexternal,withliquidrefrigeranttomorethan75%ofmaximum
capacity.
Avoidspillageanddripping. Cleanandmopup excess fluids.
ITISILLEGALtochargeasystemwithrefrigerant, tocheckforleaks.Alwaysuse(Oxygen
Free)Nitrogenforthispurposeduringtheappropriateprogrammedoperationcycle.
