gInstructions:
Connect the13 pinplug tothe VehiclesTrailerSocket.
LED1(Permanent Power) willilluminatetoindicateconnection.
Note:Thisconnectionisrequired fortheSelfTestfunction tooperate.
Takethehandsetintothe driverscompartment ensuringthat the
connection lead isfree fromhazardand notentangled.
Withthedisplayvisible,press the self test button on theside of
thehandset and ensureallthe LED’s1to10 areilluminated.
Switchon the ignition, LED10 –Ignition Power(Earth)should
illuminate.
Operatethe vehiclecontrolsinthe normalwayand check that
thecorresponding LED’s; 1through to10 illuminate.

Onsomevehicles,equipped withCANBussystems,itisnormalforthe
LED’son the TST100 display, toflicker.
Important:
Always ensurethat the ConnectionCableisfree fromhazardandnot
entangled.Donotattempttomoveordrivethevehiclewiththe TST100
connected.
7PinTrailerSocket Testing:
Whentesting 7PinVehicleSystemsalways useasuitable13 pinto7
pinadaptor.
Note:7PinVehicleSystemsdo not havea12 volt Permanent Power.
LED1willnotilluminateand theSelf Testfunctionwillnot operate.
Maintenance:
Clean handset and cablefrequently, withaclean dryrag andamild
detergent spray. FollowManufacturersinstructionswhen using a
detergent. Donot usePetrol, Oil, Solventbased orAbrasiveproducts.
Regularlyinspect Connection Leadand Plugsforwearand damage.
Replaceasrequired.
Always storethe TST100carefully,inadryplace, freefromoilor
wateringress.
