ThedeviceprovidesmodesofHotel,ResidenceandWISPto
meetdifferentnetworkenvironments.Bydefault,thedevicecan
automaticallydetectyourInternetconnectiontypeandswitch
betweenHotelmodeandResidencemode.Youcanalsodisableitif
youdon'twantthedevicetoauto‐switchbetweenthetwomodes.
HoweveryoumustselectandsetuptheWISPmodemanuallyifyou
wanttouseit.
3.1HotelMode(DynamicIP)
ThedeviceoperatesinHotelMode(alsoknownasDynamicIP
orDHCP)bydefault.Inthismode,thedevicefunctionsasa
wirelessroutertoobtainanIPaddressandDNSserver
automaticallyfromyourISP.Simplyconnecttoitwirelesslyand
multipleuserscansharetheInternetconnectionconcurrently.No
configurationneeded!Simplyconnectthedevicetothebroadband
InterfaceinahotelroomwithanEthernetcableandyourPCtothe
devicewirelessly.Thatisallit!Incaseyouhaveencryptedthe
wirelesswithacustomizedsecuritykey,youwillbeaskedto
provideitwhenattemptingtoconnecttodevicewirelessly.Simply
