INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Installation Time: 2.5 Hours
TOOLS REQUIRED: 10mm, 13mm, 3/8”, 7/16” &
1/2” Socket Wrenches, 6” Socket Wrench
Extension, 10mm Wrench, Power Drill with 7/32”
and 17/64” Drill Bits, Phillips Screwdriver and
Wire Cutters
1. Park the machine on a clean, level surface.
2. Turn off the machine and remove the key.
3. Unplug the positive battery cable at the red
connector (Figure 1).
WARNING: Electrical Shock Hazard.
Disconnect Battery Cables Before Servicing
Machine.
4. Disconnect the operator seat connector
from the main wire harness and lift the seat
from the machine (Figure 1).

5. Remove the FaST detergent pack
(if equipped) and remove the FaST deter-
gent holder from the front of the battery
compartment shroud (Figure 2).

KIT CONTENTS
6. Remove the two bolts that secure the
battery compartment shroud and lift the
shroud from the machine (Figure 3).

7. Disconnect the battery cables, remove the
battery retaining strap, and remove the
batteries from the machine.
8. Note: Move to step #9 if mounting holes
already exist in the actuator support as
shown (Figure 4). Mark and drill (4) 17/64”
charger mounting holes into the actuator
support as shown in Figure 14.

9. Attach the lower charger mounting bracket
to the actuator support using (2) 15678
bolts, (2) 01684 flat washers and (2) 08712
lock nuts supplied in kit (Figure 5).
Note: Machines that have weld nuts on the
actuator support do not require the washers
and nuts.

10. Set the charger in place on the lower
charger bracket. Use the charger to locate
and mount the upper bracket, using the
same components as used for the lower.
Charger will be held in place between the
brackets as shown (Figure 6).

11. Moving to the front side of the actuator
support, remove the old red battery
charging plug from machine (Figure 7).
Remove wire tie behind plug; remove red
wire #1B from relay; remove black wire
#13C from standoff then pull charger plug
assembly free from machine and discard.

12. Remove yellow wire #4B and blue wire #26
from the charger innerlock switch shown on
Figure 7. Innerlock switch can be removed
and discarded. Attach the white and black
wires from the on--board charger to the
wires removed from the switch -- white to
#4B yellow & black to #26 blue (Figure 8).

13. Use wire ties to attach the white and black
charger wires to main harness. This will act
as a strain relief (Figure 9).

14. Remount batteries and battery spacers
back into machine. Secure batteries with
battery strap.
15. Attach black wire from charger to negative
terminal on battery as shown, and red wire
from charger to positive terminal on battery
as shown. Reattach all battery cables and
rubber boots that were removed earlier.
Reconnect red battery plug (Figure 10).

16. Remount battery compartment shroud,
FaST detergent holder and FaST
detergent.
17. Remount seat and plug in seat harness.
18. Route the on--board charger’s power cord
through the hole in the seat plate. Use a
wire tie to attach cord to the main harness
(Figure 11).

19. Drill (4) 7/32” holes into the seat plate as
shown. Holes will be used to mount the
new cord hooks (Figure 12).

20. Mount new cord hooks #230920.BK to the
seat plate as shown, using the 06933
screws, 19066 washers and 06549 nuts
provided in the kit. Charger’s power cord
should be wrapped around the cord hooks
when not in use (Figure 13).
