Installaon or removal
Detailed informaon about the dierent ways of installing or re-
moving the radiator heang element are available from the manu-
facturer or importer (see footnotes at the end of the manual). Be-
low we list some basic requirements and principles which must be
followed to ensure long term reliable operaon.
To ensure the long term reliability of the device, the correct power
output must be selected. The power output of heang element
must be lower than the power of the radiator for the parameters of
75/65/20° C. Operang the heang element with a power output
that is too high can cause rapid wear of the temperature regula-
tor and, consequently, the failure of the heang element, which is
not covered by the warranty. We recommend selecng a heang
element waage of between 70% and 100% of the radiator power
output for 75/65/20° C parameter.
Before installaon or rst use:
1. Read the chapter Safety requirements — installaon.
2. Fit the heang element using the correct spanner (size 22).
3. The heang element must be installed at the boom of the
radiator, perpendicular to the radiator pipes, preserving space
for proper circulaon of the heang medium.
4. Use a suitable heang medium for lling the electric radiator
(water, special products based on water and glycol for use in
central heang, oil complying with the requirements of the
manufacturer of radiator and heang element).
5. Do not switch the heang element on if it is not fully im-
mersed in radiator heang medium .
6. Make sure an adequate air cushion is present to protect
against excessive pressure build up in the heater (always leave
one of the radiator valves open).
7. When lling the radiator with hot liquid make sure its tem-
perature does not exceed 65° C.
8. Follow the subsequent guidelines when connecng the electri-
cal installaon:
a. Brown wire — live connecon to the circuit (L).
b. Blue wire — connect to neutral (N)
c. Yellow & green wire — earth connecon (PE).
9. Before lling the radiator with heang medium, make sure
that heang element is ed properly to guarantee that it is
water ght.

27
EN
Notes prior to removal:
1. Before dismantling permanently disconnect the heang ele-
ment from the mains ensure that the radiator is not hot.
2. Be aware. a radiator lled with liquid can be very heavy. When
moving the radiator, ensure that you take the necessary safety
precauons.
3. Before disassembly, close the appropriate valves and drain
the radiator to avoid any damage being, close the appropri-
ate valves, drain the radiator, etc.) caused by water remaining
water inside the radiator.

Purpose
The heang element is an electric device intended solely for instal-
laon in radiators (standalone or connected to the central heang
system).
Operaon
Heang element ed in radiator and connected to the mains
is ready for operaon. Make sure that radiator is fully lled with
heang medium leaving only a necessary air cushion. If radiator
is connected to central heang system make sure air is bled out
of the system. Built-in temperature limiter (65° C) protects against
excessive temperature rise on the radiator , but it is recommended
to select a heang element power output ensuring the normal op-
eraon temperature does not exceed 60° C — this will guarantee
long-term durability and reliability of the device.
The design of the heang element, as well as the physical prop-
eres of dierent heang uids can cause uneven heat tempera-
ture distribuon across the radiator. Lower radiator tubes can be
cold. Such a condion is completely normal and is not the result of
a heang element fault.
Maintenance
• Before performing maintenance, always unplug the unit from
the mains .
• Periodically check the uid level in the radiator and make sure
the heang element is completely submerged.
• Clean the product with a dry or damp cloth only or with
a small amount of detergent containing no solvents or
abrasives.
