3. USINGTHEPHOTOFRAME
Thisframemaybepositionedsothateitherphotographsaredisplayed(landscapeformatfig.1)ortheclockis
displayed(portraitformatfig.2).Touseasaphotographframe,turntheframetothelandscapepositionandit
willautomaticallyenterthephotographframemode.Whenusingasaphotographframethephotographsmaybe
eitherstoredonamemorycard(SD/MMC)orintheinternalmemoryof theframe.

3.1 Usingthephotoframe withamemorycard
3.1.1 Peeloff theprotectivefilm from thefrontof thescreen.
3.1.2 Insertthememorycardcontainingthephotosintotheframeandnotethattheorientationofthephotoshould be
setuponthePCbeforecopyingtothememorycard.
3.1.3 PlugintheDCcableintotheDCjackandplug theadaptorintothemainssupply.
3.1.4 SlidethefunctionswitchtotheONpositionandaslideshowofthephotographsonthememorycardwill
automaticallystart.
3.1.5 Topausetheslideshowanddisplayonepictureconstantly,presstheSELbutton.Press thebuttonagainto
restarttheslideshow.
3.1.6 Tomoveforwardtothenextpictureinthesequence,pressthe 4button.
3.1.7 Tomovebacktotheprevious pictureinthesequence, press the 3button.
3.1.8 Toturnoff thephotoframe,slidethefunctionswitchtotheOFFposition.
3.2Usingthephotoframe withtheinternalmemory
Theframeprovides1.35MB of internalmemoryforthestorageof photographs.
3.2.1 Switchoffthephotographframe.
3.2.2 Connectthemini-BconnectoroftheUSBcabletotheUSBslaveportontheframeandconnecttheremainingend
of thecabletoanavailableUSBportonthecomputer.
3.2.3 EnsurethatthecomputerisswitchedonandslidetheFUNCTIONswitchonthephotographframetotheON
position.
3.2.4 Thescreenofthephotographframewillactivateand three removablediskswillbeaddedtothe ‘MyComputer’
directory.Thefinalremovablediskistheinternalmemoryofthephotographframe.Copyfilestotheinternal
memorybyeitherof thefollowingroutes.
•‘Draganddrop’filesfromthePCdesktop / directoryontotheremovabledisk.
•‘Right click’onthefiletobecopiedandselect ‘Copy’fromtheshortcutmenu.‘Right click’ontheremovabledisk
andselect ‘paste’from theshortcutmenu.
3.2.5 Whenall photographshavebeencopiedortheinternalmemoryisfull,movetheFUNCTIONswitchtotheOFF
positionanddisconnecttheUSBcable.

3.3.1 Whilstthephotosarebeingviewed,pressandhold theESCbuttonandadropdownmenuwill bedisplayedonthe
lefthandsideof thescreen.
3.3.2 Use 5/ 6buttons tomoveupanddownthemenutohighlight thedesiredfunction(seebelow). Whenthedesired
functionishighlighted, presstheSELbuttontoconfirm theselectionandtheavailablesettingswillbedisplayed.
3.3.3 Used 5/ 6buttonstomoveupanddownthemenu tohighlightthedesiredsetting,press theSELbuttonto
confirm theselectionandthedesiredsetting will bedisplayed.
3.3.4 Press theESCbuttontoexitthemenu orpress andhold thebuttontoexit thisfeature.

4.2 Use 5/6buttons tohighlight SELECTMODEandpress theSELbuttontoselect.
4.3 Usethe 6buttontomovedownthemenuandhighlight CLOCKandpress theSELbuttontoselectthismodeand
theclockwill bedisplayed.
4.4 Press andholdtheESCbuttontodisplaytheclocksetup menu.
4.5 Usingthe 5/6buttonshighlight SETTIME/ DATEandpress theSELbuttontoselect.
4.6 Usethe 5/6toscrollthroughthefeatureuntilthecorrectdateortimeisdisplayedandusethe 3/4buttons to
movetothenextfield.
4.7 Press theSELbuttontoselectandconfirm thesetting.
4.8 Press theESCbuttontoexitthemenu orpress andhold thebuttontoexit thefeature.
•Todisplaythetimeasaconventionalclockface,turntheclocktotheportraitposition.Todisplaytheclockface
with theborderilluminated, movetheFUNCTIONswitchtothelight bulbposition.
•Todisplayaphotographwiththetimesuperimposedonthephotograph.Followsteps4.1 –4.4abovetodisplay
theclocksetupmenu.Using the 5/6buttons tohighlight SHOWTIMEintheclocksetupmenuandpressthe
SELbuttontoselect.Usingthe 5/6buttonshighlight ON andconfirmusingtheSELbutton.Press andholdthe
ESCbuttontoexitthesetupfeatureandthenturntheframetotheportraitpositionandthenbacktolandscape
position. Toremovethetimedisplayinthephotographmode,selectOFF intheSHOWTIMEmenu.

5.SETTINGANDUSINGTHEALARM(setup Menuonlyavailableatlandscapemode)
Followingsteps4.1 –4.4above,displaytheclocksetupmenu.
5.1 Usethe 5/6buttons tohighlight ALARMSETTINGandpresstheSELbuttontoselect.
5.2 Usethe 5/6buttonstoscrollthroughthealarm field until ENABLEisshown.
5.3 Usethe 3/4buttonstomovetothenextfieldandthe 5/ 6buttonstoselectthehourandminute.
5.4 Whenthecorrectalarm timeisshown,press theSELbuttontoconfirm thesetting.
5.5 Whenthetimeontheclockisthesameasthealarmtimethathasbeenset,thealarmwillsound.
5.6 Tosilencethealarm, presstheESCbutton.Thealarmwillsoundagainthesametimethefollowing dayunless the
alarmisdisabledusing theclocksetupmenu.
6.CAREANDMAINTENANCE
Wipeexternalsurfaceswithasoftcloth.Iftheframeisverydirty,unplugfromthemainssupplyanduseadamp
cloth soakedinaweaksolutionofwashingupliquid andwater.Wipedrywith asoftclothandallowit todry
thoroughlybeforereusing.
