INTRODUCTION
1. General
A. This maintenance manual has been prepared in accordance with standard N 100
of the AIR TRANSPORT ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA (Standard ATA 100).
B. This manual gives all necessary information for repairs and general overhaul
of the aircraft. The operations described can only be performed in workshops
equipped with special tolls and test benches.
C. This manual does not concern common practice, frequency and time limits or
matters witch may possibly vary according to the equipment normaly available
in the repairs workshop.
2. Presentation of the Manual
A. The system of page numbering is based on a section of numbers for each title:
1 - 100 - DESCRIPTION AND OPERATION
101 - 200 - TESTING AND TROUBLESHOOTING
201 - 300 - NOT ALLOCATED
301 - 400 - DISASSEMBLY
401 - 500 - CLEANING
501 - 600 - CHECK
601 - 700 - REPAIRS
701 - 800 - ASSEMBLY AND STORAGE
801 - 900 - FITS AND CLEARANCES
901 - 1000 - SPECIAL TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT-LIST OF SPECIAL MATERIALS
1001 - 1100 - ILLUSTRATED PARTS LIST
B. Values are generally given in SI units (meters, kilogram, second) or multi-
ples and submultiples of these units. In certain special cases, other com-
monly-used units are used.
3. Revisions
When this manual is revised, detailed instructions for insertion and removal
of the relevant pages will be provided with each revision. The revised, added
or deleted textx will be identified by a black vertical mark in the margin.
