Make sure the batteries are in the unit and placed in the right way.
Feel the surface of the pad; if it feels smooth, then it is time to replace the pad.
Follow instructions for the pad replacement.
Be sure the attachment is installed correctly. When installing, you should hear a
soft ‘click’ that indicates that the pad is secured.
Please note that the top performance of Derma Seta™ can only be ensured with
new alkaline batteries.
In order for Derma Seta™ to turn on, the batteries need to be sufficiently charged. Prior to first
use, charge the unit for 4 hours.
In order to prevent the batteries from complete power drainage, do not allow Derma Seta™
to remain in an uncharged condition over a large period of time.
Make sure the AC adaptor is plugged into the outlet and the DC cord is plugged into the
Charging Cradle.

Ensure Derma Seta™ is turned OFF before replacing Derma Crystal Hair Removal Pads.
1) Peel the existing Derma Crystal Hair Removal Pad off the rotating head.
2) Take the new Derma Crystal Hair Removal Pad and peel off the protective sticker on the back.
3) Align the Derma Crystal Hair Removal Pad edge with the rotating pad’s edge.

• Do not remove hair from moles or areas of sunburn or abrasions.
• Avoid treating sunburned skin.
• Only use specified attachments for your bikini, neck and facial area. For more details please refer
to the operation section of the manual.
• Do not apply lotion before use.
• Do not use if you suffer from skin conditions or irritations such as psoriasis, eczema, sensitive skin,
skin allergies, rashes or circulatory problems. If you are at all unsure, consult a medical professional
before use.

• CHANGING ATTACHMENTS
1) Ensure Derma Seta™ is turned OFF before changing the attachment.
2) Remove by putting your finger in a small indentation on the side of the rotating pad. Then pull the
rotating pad while your finger is placed in the indentation.
3) Pick desired attachment. Line up the slots on the head of the Derma Seta™ device with the appropriate
clips on the back of the attachment head. Gently push the attachment until secure.

• Do not try to remove hair from open wounds, cuts, burns or warts.
• Do not use in the same area for a long period of time as it may cause a
skin burn.
Note: Carry out a patch test on a small area of your skin 24 hours before use.
If irritation occurs discontinue use and consult your dermatologist.
Note: Some people may experience a slight redness after use. This is quite
normal and will fade within an hour or two. Ensure that your skin is
completely dry before treatment.

operating this beauty aid and read all instructions before using.
1) To reduce the risk of death or serious injury from electrical shock:
• Do not immerse the device in water. Unplug it immediately if it comes in
contact with water.
• Do not use in the bath or shower.
• Always unplug the device after using or before cleaning.

3) Never leave the device unattended when plugged in and keep the device
away from any heated surfaces.
4) Never operate or recharge if the plug or electrical cord connected to the
Charging Adaptor is damaged or has come in contact with water.
5) Do not drop or insert any foreign objects into the rotating head.
6) Never mix batteries. Replace all cells when weak.
7) Do not try to recharge non rechargeable batteries. Charging non
rechargeable batteries may generate hydrogen that can lead to an explosion.
8) Observe the right polarity when installing or replacing batteries.
Wrongly installed (reversed) battery can heat up and create a fire hazard.
9) Remove fully discharged batteries from the unit.
Old cells can leak and cause corrosion.
10) Remove the batteries when the unit is not used for a longer period to prevent
corrosion.
11) Always keep batteries away from children.

Seta™ provides the total skin-pampering experience in the comfort of your home or
wherever you travel.
• INCLUDED ATTACHMENTS
Derma Seta™ comes equipped with a variety of convenient attachments to provide
a total skin beauty experience:
Derma Crystal Hair Removal Pad – this fine grit attachment is used to remove hair
and exfoliate skin at the same time. 5 additional exfoliating pads are included with
the unit. Please see the instructions on how to replace Derma Crystal Hair Removal Pads
on page 20.
Note: ONLY use this attachment for hair removal and exfoliation.
Pumice Stone – attach this to remove calluses or rough skin on the feet. The Pumice
Stone is to be used on wet, soaked feet for best results.
Body Buffer – attach to effectively apply lotion to your body as well as to remove dry
skin after exfoliation.
Facial Hair Remover – use to effectively remove any unwanted facial hair.
Bikini Line Hair Remover – use to remove unnecessary hair in the bikini line area.

Derma Seta™ is designed to remove hair conveniently and exfoliate skin utilizing
specially designed Derma Crystal Hair Removal Pads. These pads are excellent for
gentle removal of hair on arms and legs and, unlike laser hair removal, is suitable for
all skin types.
This multipurpose beauty aid is compact, portable and easy to use. With a variety of
accessories, it is perfectly designed to remove calluses, smooth skin and apply lotions
as well as routine hair removal.
Never again will you have to worry about nicks and abrasions from shaving, and
Derma Seta™ gives you effective and painless removal of unwanted hair. Leaving
soft hairless skin and heightened blood circulation for 1-2 days, Derma Seta™ is the
definitive product for easy, pain-free hair removal.
TIPS
• Give yourself some time to determine the best motion for maximum results.
• Results may vary, but typically using Derma Seta™ 10 to 12 times will achieve
the optimum effect.
• The Derma Crystal Hair Removal Pad is intended for dry use only and will be
damaged if used with any liquids, lotions, shaving creams or gels.
• When the pad becomes noticeably smoother, change the pad to achieve the
best results.

6) The attachment head will rotate counterclockwise only. Using light pressure apply
the exfoliating disc to your skin.
7) Move the rotating disc in a gentle circular motion in a clockwise direction, gradually
covering the entire area. You will feel a warm sensation, which is common. With
practice, you will determine the exact amount of pressure to effectively remove hair.
Do not keep rotating disc in one place for too long.
8) The exfoliating action produces a fine white powder accumulating on your skin.
This is normal as the hair removal process reduces hair and dry skin to a powder
that can be removed with the soft brush attachment. (See attachment section for
further instructions).
9) Feel your skin as you move the pads. If you miss a spot, or encounter a stubborn
area, gently pass over the area again in a circular motion, until the hair is gone.
Caution: Using Derma Seta™ for too long on one area may cause a skin burn.
10) Once finished, push the power switch to the OFF position and place back into
the Charging Cradle.
Caution: Make sure the unit is turned OFF & stays OFF while charging in the
Charging Cradle.

• DELUXE UNIT
1) Attach the Charging Cradle to the adaptor provided. Plug the cord into
an electrical outlet; a light will appear on the front of the Cradle. If the light is
green, Derma Seta™ is charged. If the light is red the unit still requires charging
(for best results, Derma Seta™ should be fully charged).
Note: Charging the unit can take up to 4 hours.
2) Once Derma Seta™ is charged (indicated by the green light on the Cradle)
ensure power switch is in OFF position and remove from Cradle.
3) Peel backing from Derma Crystal Hair Removal Pads and affix the accessory
onto the rotating head.
4) Line up the slots on the rotating head of the Derma Seta™ device with the
appropriate clips on the back of the attachment head. Gently push the
attachment until secure.
5) Once attachment head is securely in place, push the power switch to the ON
position (the rotating head will begin to spin). By pushing the power switch up
one and two notches, you will increase the speed of the rotating head. You
can pick your desired speed; Low and High.
Caution: Do not apply lotion before use.

4) Once attachment head is securely in place, push the power switch (located on
the side of the handle of the Derma Seta™ device) to the ON position.
5) The attachment head will rotate counterclockwise only. Using light pressure apply
the exfoliating disc to your skin.
Caution: Do not apply lotion before use.

gradually covering the entire area. You will feel a warm sensation, which is

OPERATION
Derma Seta™ and its attachments have all been carefully crafted to offer ease
of operation coupled with excellent results. The grain on the pads has been
specifically formulated to remove arm and leg hair.
For the best results, please follow these steps:
Before use: If you have a long hair style, make sure to keep it away from the
rotating pads as it may become entangled. Do not use this device if you have
any skin irritations or cuts.
ASSEMBLY
• BASIC UNIT
1) Open Battery Pack cover located on handle of Derma Seta™, and insert six
alkaline AA batteries (follow diagram inside Battery Pack). Replace cover.
2) Peel backing from Derma Crystal Hair Removal Pads and affix the accessory
onto the rotating head.
3) Line up the slots on the head of the Derma Seta™ device with the appropriate clips
on the back of the attachment head. Gently push the attachment until secure.
