Chapter 1 Overview
DFT-6500 Battery Data Logger is a Wi-fi monitoring system for the real time monitors of battery performance
and state and analyzes the battery performance development trend to judge the battery service life by the battery
cell voltage, battery string total voltage, battery string total current and the environment temperature as the main
monitoring parameters,. The system can track the performance balance of the battery and provide a basis for the
battery string "fine" maintenance that the system will immediately alarm if the performance of the serious
deterioration of the faulty battery is found.

(2) The host power lead:. Connect to the battery or external power supply to provide working power to the host,
voltage range: 9 ~ 36Vdc.
(3) Total voltage detection line.
(4) Current transformer.

(5) Cell Data Case: Each case can monitor max 12 cells simultaneously.
(6) Temperature sensor. Measuring range: -40 ~ 125 °C.
(7) USB to UART (TTL). Host working parameters are configured.
(8) There are also Cell-Data-Case voltage test Lines Kit with the same number of Cell-Data-Case.
Chapter 2 Functions
1. Network alarm function.
2. Automatic timed inspection of each battery cell voltage and automatic recording of test data.
3. Automatically monitor the performance balance of the battery string, and diagnose the battery failure, and
automatically alarm when the battery fails.
Chapter 3 Features
1. Operate and upload data to the computer via Wi-fi.
2. The performance status of a single cell can be observed both in the field and in the data center with clear and
intuitive display.
3. On-site detection does not require any manual intervention, which can avoid the risks of short circuit, electric
shock and load power failure caused by manual operation errors.
4. Fully isolated independent test circuit, which is neither interfered with by user equipment nor affects the
normal operation of user devices and battery strings.
5. Battery data management is fully digitized and informative.

Chapter 6 Host Wi-Fi connection configuration
The Monitor host Wi-Fi connection needs to be configured by a USB to UART communication line.Connect the
communication line to the computer and the monitoring host.
Configure the cable UART configuration interface
Monitor host Wi-Fi to set the UART operating parameters
Example: The PC serial port tool software sends "$WIFI, dczz_Wi-Fi5, dczz13509650307," to the monitoring
host, the host replies "$WIFI, OK", and the Wi-Fi connection configuration is completed. Wait 5 to 10 seconds
after the host automatically connects (the field Wi-Fi name and password are actual, here wi-Fi name:
dczz_Wi-Fi5; Password: dczz13509650307).
PC of running the monitoring software can be connected to the Wi-Fi connection to receive monitoring data.

Chapter 8 Battery discharge monitoring & data viewing & export reports
8.1 Monitoring
For the monitoring of battery discharge, the local site must be established before monitoring, and the
establishment process is shown in the following figure:

8.2 Remote operation
The PC with the host installed by Wi-fi as follows:
Wi-fi mode: Click the network icon in the lower right corner, find the SSID with the word network
FDY00_xxxxxx, click "Connect" after finding it, and enter the password: FDY12345678

10
Click the "Data Logger" icon to enter the main interface.
The right column shows the host and Cell-Data-Case to be connected, the icon is "tick" to indicate the connection,
you can also select a Case, click "Disconnect", after disconnecting, the icon of the selected case is crossed.

Click "Reset", then all connections are cleared, re-search the machine and connect.
Click "Experiment" to enter the measurement interface.
First set the "test parameters" according to the actual situation, if the network connection is normal,
Click "Start Test", then "Inspector" enters the corresponding test process,
The test data of the Data Logger is transmitted in real time; click the "real-time data" button, pop up the dialog
box, these data will be displayed on the computer.
