1 Before initial use
1.1 Intended Purpose
This easy to use, large LCD display scale is battery-operated and makes daily weighing very easy.
It determines your personal body water, fat and muscle percentage and your bone weight.
1.2 Safety advice
• Always read the safety instructions carefully.
• Follow the basic safety precautions for all electronic equipment when using this Scale.
• Keep this User's Manual for future reference.
• This unit is not waterproof. Don't expose this product to rain or moisture.
• Put this equipment on a reliable flat surface before use.
• Don’t step on the edge of the scale.
• Don’t step on the scale when the surface is wet
• If any of the following situation arises, get the equipment checked by a service technician:
– The equipment has been exposed to moisture.
– The equipment has been dropped and damaged.
– The equipment shows signs of breakage.
– Do not place the equipment at a distance of less than 1.5 m away from a water source.
• Don't disassemble this scale. The scale doesn't contain any parts that can be repaired by the user.
• Use the scale only for its intended purpose.

2 Installation
Put the battery in the battery compartment to activate the display:
• Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the unit.
• Install 4 LR03/AAA type batteries (1,5V). Follow the polarity, indicated inside the
battery compartment
• Close the battery compartment.

4Setting
4.1 Weight unit
• Turn the scale up side down.
• Press the weight unit button to select ‘kg’ (kilogram), ‘lb’ (pound) or ‘st lb’ (stone).
5 Personal data
Before the scale can define the users weight, fat %, water % and bone weight,
the personal data must be stored.
This can be done for 8 users.
• Press . ‘P1’ will flash on the display.
• Press or to select the user (1-8).
• Press to confirm.
• Press or to select the gender.
• Press to confirm.
• Press or to select the stature.
• Press to confirm.
• Press or to select the age.
6 Weighing
• Place the scale on a hard and even floor.
• Press or to select the user (1-8).
• When the scale indicates ‘0,0’, step on the scale. Make sure that you both feet
touch the metal contacts.
• Your weight is displayed.
• ‘OOO’ will scroll trough the display before your weight, fat%, water% and bone
weight is displayed.
• Step of the scale.
• The scale will turn off after 20 (+/- 4) seconds.
It is not necessary to select the user every time you use the scale.
Once you set the user, the scale will use the same personal date every next time until
you set the user data again.
The sum of all elements can exceed 100% because muscles contain water and fat.

8 Troubleshoot
If you experience any difficulty in use of the scale:
• Check if the batteries are correctly installed.
• Check that you have selected the correct weight unit (kg/lb or st).
• Check whether the scale is on a flat, level floor and not touching against a wall.
• Ensure whether you do not step on the scale until the display shows "0.0kg".
Error messages
9 Cleaning
Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth or with an anti-static cloth. Never use cleaning agents or abrasive solvents.
10 Disposal of the device (environment)
At the end of the product lifecycle, you should not throw this product into the normal household garbage
but bring the product to a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipments. The
symbol on the product, user guide and/or box indicate this.
Some of the product materials can be re-used if you bring them to a recycling point. By re-using some
parts or raw materials from used products you make an important contribution to the protection of the
environment. Please contact your local authorities in case you need more information on the collection
points in your area.
Batteries must be removed before disposing of the device.
Dispose of the batteries in an environmental manner according to your country regulations.

11 Warranty
11.1 Warranty period
The devices have a 24-month warranty period. The warranty period starts on the day the new unit is purchased. There
is no warranty on standard or rechargeable batteries (AA/AAA type).
Consumables or defects causing a negligible effect on operation or value of the equipment are not covered.
The warranty has to be proven by presentation of the original or copy of the purchase receipt, on which the date of
purchase and the unit-model are indicated.
11.2 Warranty exclusions
Damage or defects caused by incorrect treatment or operation and damage resulting from use of non-original parts or
accessories are not covered by the warranty.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by outside factors, such as lightning, water and fire, nor any damage
caused during transportation.
No warranty can be claimed if the serial number on the units has been changed, removed or rendered illegible.
Any warranty claims will be invalid if the unit has been repaired, altered or modified by the buyer.
This product is in compliance with the essential requirements and other relevant
provisions of the directive 2004/108/EC.

1 Voor het eerste gebruik
1.1 Bedoeld gebruik
Deze gebruiksvriendelijke weegschaal met grote LCD-display werkt op batterijen en maakt het dagelijks wegen zeer
eenvoudig.
Het stelt uw persoonlijke percentage lichaamsvet, percentage spieren, het aandeel van de vochtmassa en het gewicht
van de botmassa vast.
1.2 Veiligheidsadvies
• Lees de veiligheidsinstructies altijd aandachtig door.
• Houd u bij het gebruik van deze weegschaal aan de elementaire voorzorgsmaatregelen die gelden voor alle
elektronische apparaten.
• Bewaar deze handleiding voor later gebruik.
• Dit apparaat is niet waterbestendig. Stel het product niet bloot aan regen of vocht.
• Zet dit apparaat op een betrouwbare, vlakke ondergrond voor gebruik.
• Ga niet op de rand van de weegschaal staan.
• Ga niet op de weegschaal staan wanneer het oppervlak nat is.
• Als een van de volgende situaties zich voordoet, dient u het toestel te laten controleren door een servicemonteur:
– Het toestel is blootgesteld aan vocht.
– Het toestel is gevallen en beschadigd.
– Het toestel vertoont duidelijke tekenen van scheuren.
– Plaats het toestel niet op een afstand kleiner dan 1,5 m van toestellen of materiaal dat werkt met water.
• Demonteer deze weegschaal niet. De weegschaal bevat geen onderdelen die door de gebruiker kunnen worden
gerepareerd.
• Zet de weegschaal alleen in voor het beoogde gebruik.

2 Installatie
Plaats de batterij in het batterijvak om de display te activeren:
• Open het batterijvak aan de onderkant van het toestel.
• Plaats 4 batterijen van het type LR03/AAA (1,5V). Let op de in het batterijvak
aangeduide polariteit.
• Sluit het batterijvak.

Vermijd kortsluiting van batterijen en gooi ze nooit in het vuur.
Verwijder de batterijen wanneer u het toestel langere tijd niet
gebruikt.
Houd de batterijen steeds uit de buurt van kleine kinderen.

4 Instellen
4.1 Gewichtseenheid
• Draai de weegschaal ondersteboven.
• Druk op de knop voor het gewicht en selecteer 'kg' (kilogram), 'lb' (pound) of 'st lb'
(stone).
5 Gebruikersgegevens
Alvorens de weegschaal het gewicht, vetpercentage, vochtpercentage en
botgewicht kan vaststellen, moeten de gebruikersgegevens worden
opgeslagen.
Er kunnen voor 8 gebruikers gegevens worden opgeslagen.
•Drukop .‘P1’ zal flikkeren op de display.
• Druk op of om de gebruiker te selecteren (1-8).
• Druk op om te bevestigen.
• Druk op of om het geslacht te selecteren.
• Druk op om te bevestigen.
• Druk op of om lichaamslengte te selecteren.
• Druk op om te bevestigen.
• Druk op of om leeftijd te selecteren.
6 Wegen
• Plaats de weegschaal op een harde en vlakke vloer.
• Druk op of om de gebruiker te selecteren (1-8).
• Wanneer de weegschaal ‘0,0’, aanduidt ga op de weegschaal staan. Zorg ervoor
dat uw beide voeten de metalen contactpunten aanraken.
• Uw gewicht wordt weergegeven.
• Voor uw gewicht, vetpercentage, vochtpercentage en botgewicht getoond worden,
zal ‘OOO’ door de display scrollen.
• Ga van de weegschaal af.
• De weegschaal zal zichzelf uitschakelen na 20 (+/- 4) seconden.
Het is niet nodig om bij elk gebruik van de weegschaal de gebruiker te selecteren.
Eens u de gebruiker hebt ingesteld, zal de weegschaal dezelfde gebruikersgegevens
toepassen tot u opnieuw de gebruikersgegevens instelt.
De som van alle elementen kan 100% overschrijden aangezien spieren water en vet bevatten.

• Controleer of de weegschaal op een vlakke, horizontale vloer staat en de muur niet raakt.
• Zorg ervoor dat u niet op de weegschaal gaat staan voordat "0.0kg" op de weegschaal verschijnt.
Foutmeldingen
9 Reinigen
Reinig het toestel met een licht vochtige doek of antistatische doek. Gebruik nooit reinigingsmiddelen of agressieve
oplosmiddelen.
10 Het toestel afvoeren (milieu)
Na afloop van de levenscyclus van het product mag u het niet met het normale huishoudelijke afval
weggooien, maar moet u het naar een inzamelpunt brengen voor recycling van elektrische en
elektronische apparatuur. Dit wordt aangeduid door het symbool op het product, in de handleiding en/of
op de verpakking.
Sommige materialen waaruit het product is vervaardigd, kunnen worden hergebruikt als u ze naar een
inzamelpunt brengt. Door onderdelen of grondstoffen van gebruikte producten te hergebruiken, levert u
een belangrijke bijdrage aan de bescherming van het milieu. Wend u tot de plaatselijke overheid voor meer informatie
over de inzamelpunten bij u in de buurt.
Verwijder de batterijen voordat u het toestel naar een inzamelpunt brengt.
Voer de batterijen op een milieuvriendelijke manier af volgens de regels die gelden in uw land.
11 Garantie
11.1 Garantieperiode
Op de toestellen wordt een garantie van 24 maanden verleend. De garantieperiode gaat in op de dag waarop het
nieuwe toestel wordt gekocht. Er is geen garantie op standaard of oplaadbare batterijen (type AA/AAA).
Kleine onderdelen of defecten die een verwaarloosbaar effect hebben op de werking of waarde van het toestel worden
niet gedekt door de garantie.
De garantie moet worden aangetoond door overlegging van het originele aankoopbewijs of een kopie waarop de
aankoopdatum en het toesteltype staat vermeld.
11.2 Garantiebeperkingen
Schade of defecten die te wijten zijn aan onjuist gebruik of bediening en schade die te wijten is aan het gebruik van
niet-originele onderdelen of accessoires worden niet gedekt door de garantie.
De garantie dekt geen schade die te wijten is aan externe factoren, zoals bliksem, water en brand, noch enige
transportschade.
Er kan geen aanspraak worden gemaakt op de garantie als het serienummer op het toestel gewijzigd, verwijderd of
onleesbaar gemaakt is.
Garantieclaims zijn ongeldig indien het toestel hersteld, gewijzigd of aangepast werd door de koper.
