If you are completely autonomous and safe with your RC plane for beginners, ECOTOP WAKA is the perfect choice as a second model.
This perfectly balanced aircraft combines excellent stability with a higher level of maneuverability. The large surface areas, thick high lift wing
section (20%!) and precision design fuselage deliver soft and precise controls response, perfect for a model called “transitional” and while
having good aerobatics abilities.

POUR ASSEMBLER CE KIT
Pour assembler ce kit, vous aurez besoin des produits énumérés ci-dessous:
n COLLES: Cyano fluide et épaisse, époxy 30mn et 5mn.
n OUTILS: Couteau de modéliste, tournevis cruciforme (petit et moyen), pince à bec fin, pince coupante, ciseaux, ruban adhésif, ruban adhésif de
masquage, ruban adhésif double-faces, perçeuse (foret tous diamètres), papier verre, règle, feutre, clips, alcool, fer à souder, chiffon, etc.

Nous prenons grand soin à fournir la meilleure qualité possible.

2) Tracer le centre de la clé d’aile B. Essayer à blanc
l’assemblage. Ajuster si nécessaire
H Draw a center line on the wing joiner B. Try t wit-
hout glue. Adjust if necessary.
3) Enduire la moitié de la clé d’aile et l’intérieur du
fourreau de colle époxy 30 minutes.
Ne pas oublier d’appliquer la colle sur les côtés et éga-
lement enduire l’intérieur du fourreau de colle époxy
30 minutes. Insérer la clé d’aile dans une demi-aile.
H Coat half of the wing joiner and wing pocket with
30-minute epoxy.
Do not forget to apply glue at the side and also, coat
wing joiner pocket with 30-minute epoxy.
Insert wing joiner in wing half.
4) Une fois sec, enduire de colle époxy la seconde moi-
tié de la clé d’aile ainsi que les nervures d’emplanture.
Rassembler les ailes. Les maintenir à l’aide de ruban
adhésif tout en veillant à ce que les bords d’attaque
et de fuite soient parfaitement alignés. Nettoyez les
bavures de colle avec un chion doux.
H After cure, coat the second half of wing joiner and
pocket with 30-minute epoxy. Hold the wing halves
together with masking tape while epoxy cures. Wipe
o epoxy adhesive excess with a soft towel.
CAUTION: The two wing halves roots must t together
perfectly.
5) A l’aide d’un servo tester (#0435051), mettre le
servo d’aileron au neutre puis monter le palonnier à
90°. Connecter la rallonge de 30cm et assurer à l’aide
d’une sécurité connecteur (#0434085).

6) Les ailerons sont déja en place sur l’aile, les char-
nières semblent être collées! Toutefois, par sécurité,
nous vous recommandons fortement de parfaire le
collage en inltrant de la cyano uide dans les char-
nières.
H The ailerons are already installed on the wing, the
CA hinges seem to be glued! However, for safety rea-
sons, we strongly recommend you to perfect the bon-
ding by inltrating the thin CA into the hinges.
7) A l’aide de la cordelette pré-installée, enlez la ral-
longe dans l’aile par le puit de servo d’aileron...
H Using the pre-installed string, insert the extension
chord into the wing through aileron servo bay ...
8) ... et faite la ressortir à l’emplanture dans le trou
dédié (à deboucher au préalable).
H..and then route through to the exit hole (to clean
out beforehand) located at the bottom of the wing
next to the root.

9) Visser le servo d’aileron en place. Ici, vue de la
version électrique (micro servo TOPMODEL MS 2810
MG).
H Attach aileron servos as shown in the photo. Here,

10) Montez la tringlerie d’aileron sur le servo et le gui-
gnol, puis à l’aide d’une équerre, repérez la position
du guignol.
H Attach aileron pushrod to the servo and horn, and
locate horn on to the aileron using a square.
11) Visser le guignol dans l’aileron.

12) Monter dénitivement le domino sur le guignol,
assurez à l’aide de frein let. Insérez la tringlerie dans
le domino, ajustez le neutre de l’aileron et serrez le
domino.
H Firmly attach the rod stopper to the control horn
(use thread lock to secure). Insert the pushrod into
the rod, center aileron and tighten the rod stopper.
13) Couper l’excédent de la tringlerie à environ 5mm
du domino.
H Cut the excess of the linkage at about 5 mm from the
rod stopper.
14) Raccourcir les vis du guignol, adoucir leurs extré-
mités en les meulant legèrement.
H Shorten the screws of the horn, soften their ends
with a moto-tool equipped with grind disk.

1) Découper et enlever le lm d’entoilage du fuselage
aux endroits de la dérive et du stab.
H Trim and remove the covering lm of the fuselage
above the vertical and horizontal tails.
2) Collez les charnières cyano par inltration de colle
cyano uide (profondeur et direction).
H Glue the hinges of the elevator and rudder with thin
cyano.

4) Insérez le stab dans le fuselage.
H Trail t the stab into the fuselage.
3) Repérez le milieu du stab.
H Locate stab center.
5) Vériez la triangulation à l’aide d’une cordelette
xée au milieu d’un couple.
H Check the geometry using a string attached with a
pin to the center of a former.
6) La géométrie doit être parfaite. Avec un crayon
gras, tracez sur le stab le contour du fuselage, puis...

9) Collez le stab en position avec de la colle époxy
30min. Vériez que celui-ci est parfaitement horizon-
tal par rapport à l’aile. Essuyez les bavures de colle
avec un chifon doux.
H Glue the horizontal empennage in place with 30min
epoxy. Check very carefully it is perfectlly parallel to
the wings. Wipe o epoxy adhesive excess with a soft
towel.
10) Présentez l’empennage vertical sur le fuselage,
coupez l’entoilage au ras du fuselage comme montré
sans entamer le bois!
H Trial t the vertical empennage inside the fuselage,
trim the covering lm ush to fuselage as shown in
the photo. CAUTION: DO NOT CUT the balsa!

servo de profondeur au neutre puis monter le palon-
nier à 90°. Connecter la rallonge de 40cm et assurer à

cement du guignol de profondeur, puis le coller dans
son logement à l’aide de colle époxy ainsi que sa contre
plaque. Connectez la tringlerie, ajustez le neutre et
serrez le domino.
H According to the side of your servo, unclog the lo-
cation of the elevator control horn, then paste it into
place using epoxy glue. Connect the linkage, adjust the
neutral and then tighten the adjustable rod stopper.

1) Découpez l’entoilage à l’emplacement du train
principal, juste une entaille sur la largeur du fuse-
lage.
H Cut the covering lm at the location of the main
landing gear legs, just a notch on the whole width of
the fuselage.
2) Montez le train principal sur le fuselage , le lm
d’entoilage se retrouve « pincé » entre le fuselage et le
train, supprimant ainsi tout risque de décollement ou
d’inltration de carburant.
H Mount the main landing gear on the fuselage, the
covering lm nds «pinched» between the fuselage
and the gear legs, eliminating the risk of getting loose
or fuel inltrations.
3) Faire des méplats aux emplacements des butées de
roue comme montré.
H Perform ats with a le on music wire where the
wheel stoppers attach.

4) Installer les roues et visser les bagues d’arrêt. As-
surez à l’aide de frein let.
H Install the wheels and screw in the wheel stoppers.
