Getting Started
1 Checkthes-bagTM isinplace.
2 Insertthehoseuntilthecatchesclicktoengage
(presscatchesinwardstorelease).
3 Attachextensiontubesortelescopictube(somemodels)tothehose
handleandfloornozzleandtwistingtogether(twistandpullapartto
dismantle).
4 Extendthecableandconnecttomains,ensuringthecableisnot
twistedbeforeuse(Presscablerewindbuttontorewindcable.Please
holdtheplugtopreventitstrikingyou).
5 Presstheon/offbuttontostartthecleaner.
6 Toincrease/decreasesuction,adjusttherollingwheelcontrol.Suction
canalsoberegulatedonthehosehandlebyopening/closingthevent.

s-bagTM indicator and changing the s-bagTM
Forpeakperformancethes-bagTM shouldbechangedwhenfull.The
mechanicals-bagTM indicatorwindowwillgraduallyturnredwhenfilling
andcompletelyredwhenfull.
Ifthedustbagshouldgetbrokeninthecleaner,takecleanertoservice
centreforcleaning.Thisisnotcoveredbytheguarantee.
Thes-bagTM fullindicatormaysignifythatthebagisblocked
(occasionallycausedbyfinerdust)whichwillcauselossofsuctionand
mayresultinoverheating.Ifthisoccurschangethebagevenifitisnot
full.DONOTVACUUMVERYFINEDUST(PLASTER,CEMENT,COLD CINDERS...).
Tocheckthedustbag,thecleanermustbeswitchedon,withall
attachmentsconnectedbutthenozzledoesnothavetobeplacedonthe
floor.
To change the s-bagTM:
7 Openthecleanercover.
8 Removethes-bagTM holderandpulltheslidingtabtoremovethes-
bagTM fromitsholder.
9 Insertthenews-bagTM byslidingthebagslotsintotheholder.Close
cover.
10 Makesurethatthedustbag(s-bagTM)isnotoverlappingwiththe
rubbersealing.(Pushdownwardsbeforeinsertingthedustbagholder
intothedustbagcompartement)
We recommend the s-bagTM is changed after using a carpet cleaning
powder or if there is a bad smell from the cleaner.
Note: Only use original s-bagsTM and filters
s-bagTM (ref. s-bagTM)

Toavoid damagingthecleaner, donotuse it withouta dust bag.Asafety
deviceis fittedwhichprevents thecoverclosing without adust bag in
place.Do notattemptto forcecovershut.
Changing/cleaning the filters
Neverusethecleanerwithoutthefiltersinplace.
Thefiltersshouldbechanged/cleanedapproximately everyfifth dustbag.
To maintain Motor Protection filter:
7 Openthecleanercover.
11 Removethefilterunit,rinsethefilterunderwarmtapwateronlyand
drythefiltercompletely(14).Theoriginalfilteringperformanceis
nowrestored.Replacetheunitbackintothecleanerandclosecover
ensuringitissecurelyinplaceandthecoverisproperlyclosed.
Latesteverysecondyearreplacetheoldfilterwithanewone.
To maintain Exhaust filter/Micro filter (some models):
12 Pressthecatchtoopenthefiltercover.
13 Removethefilterunit,rinsethefilterunderwarmtapwateronlyand
drythefiltercompletely(14).Theoriginalfilteringperformanceis
nowrestored.Replacetheunitbackintothecleanerandclosecover
ensuringitisproperlyfastened.
Latesteverysecondyearreplacetheoldfilterwithanewone.
Troubleshooting
Dustbag: pleasecheckthatthedustbagisplacedcorrectlyandensure
thatitisnotjammed.(10)
Power: iftheelectricpowerdoesnotcomeon,disconnectfrommains
andcheckplugs,cableandfuseswhereappropriate.
Thecleanermayswitchitselfoffineventofsevereblockageor
excessivelydirtyfilters.Insuchcases,disconnectfrommainsandallow
tocoolfor30minutes.Clearblockageand/orreplacefilter(s)andrestart.
Theclearingofblockedhosesisnotcoveredbytheguarantee.Toavoid
blockagesandmaintainsuctionefficiency,thefloornozzlesshouldbe
cleanedregularlyusingthehosehandle.
PleaseseeadditionalVoltainformationtowardsthebackofthisbooklet.
Water: ifwaterissuckedintothecleanerthemotormustbechangedata
servicecentre.Thisisnotcoveredbytheguarantee.
