Thisequipmentgeneratesandusesradiofrequencyenergyandifnotinstalledandusedproperly,instrictaccordance

PlacingthemyTurf™BaseStation
ChoosingasuitablelocationfortheBaseStationhasthelargestimpactonwirelessconnectivity.Youcan
determineagoodlocationbyexaminingyouroperatingareaandequipmentmovementpatterns.Findaplace
thatmeetsthefollowingrequirements:
•Thelocationshouldbeinline-of-sightandwithin76m(250ft)ofanareaheavilytrafckedbymachines.
•Theline-of-sightcanbethroughanopeningsuchasadoororwindow.
•Thelocationmustbeindoorsandawayfromdirectexposuretotheelements.
•Theareashouldbeclearofmaterialsanditemsthatwouldweakenthetransmissionofradiowaves(i.e.,
concretewalls,microwaves,cordlessphones).Theseitemscanblock,absorb,and/ordisruptradiowaves.
•Thelocationmusthaveahigh-speedInternetconnection.
•Forsystemstartup,ensurethattheequipmentwiththenewwirelesshourmeterinstalledarewithina
9m(30ft)radiusoftheBaseStation.
•RefertoFigure3andFigure4forexamplesofBaseStationplacement.
Note:InapplicationswheretheBaseStationcannotpickupthesignal,aRepeatermaybedeployedusing
thesameprinciplesdescribedpreviously.

Installawirelesshourmeterinplaceofanexisting
hourmeteroneachmachineintheeet.Hourmeters
areinstalledwithvaryingstylesofmountsandbezels.
Takecarewhenremovingtheexistinghourmeterto
retainallthefastenersandbezels.
Inmostcases,hourmetersareinstalledon
dashboardsforeaseofreading,butsomemachines
havetheminstalledelsewhere.Ifyoucannotndthe
hourmeter,consulttheOperator’sManualorlogonto
www.Toro.comforhelplocatingit.

deviceIDfromthelabelandmachinemodel
andserialnumberinthespaceprovidedonthis
document.

2.Recordthehourslistedontheexistinghour
meterinthespaceprovided.
3.Removetheexistinghourmeterfromits
mountingframeanddisconnectitfromthewire
harness.
4.Installthenewwirelesshourmeterintothe
sameposition.

thecongurationthatappliestoyourapplication
