System Features
The Infinia™ Models 7130, 7160, 7161, 7200, 7201, and 7220 are some of the most powerful
multimedia desktop computers available. Integrating advanced technologies and high-speed,
energy-efficient components with a simple and elegant design, the Infinia™ line offers state-
of-the-art capabilities in an easy-to-service package. The Infinia™ line delivers the following
features:
Microprocessor
The Intel Pentium
®microprocessor operates at five speeds:
• 133 MHz (Model 7130)
• 166 MHz (Model 7160)
• 166 MHz MMX™ (Model 7161)
• 200 MHz (Model 7200)
• 200 MHz MMX™ (Model 7201 and 7220)
Memory
Each Infinia™ Model 7130 and 7160 comes equipped with 16 megabytes (MB) of
60 ns EDO RAM (2x8 SIMMs), expandable to 128 MB. Each Infinia™ Model
7161, 7200, 7201, and 7220 comes equipped with 32 MB of 60 ns EDO RAM
(2x8 SIMMs), expandable to 128 MB.
Cache memory
Each Infinia™ model comes equipped with 256 kilobytes (KB) write-back
pipeline burst SRAM.
Disk storage
Each Infinia™ model comes equipped with one 3.5" 1.44 MB / 1.2 MB / 720 KB
(formatted) Floppy Disk Drive.
The Infinia™ series comes with the following standard Enhanced IDE hard disk
drives:
• 1.5 GB (Model 7130 and 7161)
• 2.1 GB (Model 7160)
• 2.5 GB (Model 7161)
• 3.0 GB (Model 7200, 7201, and 7220)
CD-ROM
Each Infinia™ Model 7130, 7160, and 7200 comes equipped with one ATAPI 8X
CD-ROM drive.
Each Infinia™ Model 7161 and 7201 comes equipped with one ATAPI 12X CD-
ROM drive.

DVD-ROM
Infinia™ Model 7220 comes equipped with one SD-M1002 DVD-ROM and an
MPEG2/AC-3 decoder board.
InTouch™Module
The InTouch™Module provides centralized control of various attached devices
such as a television, FM radio, music CD player, and telephone answering
machine. The InTouch
™Module Remote Control (standard on Models 7200,
7201, and 7220) provides remote operation of the InTouch™ Module.
TV Tuner Card
Standard on Models 7200, 7201, and 7220, the TV Tuner Card delivers PCI Plug
and Play; Integrated FM radio, TV, and (optional) video conferencing. It
supports closed-caption and intercast decode, full-motion live video capture and
display, stereo cable TV reception, and NTSC/PAL composite video output.
Display system
The Infinia™ series monitors are available in 15- and 17-inch versions. The
monitors have the following features:
• .28 mm dot pitch
• 75 Hz non-interlaced refresh rate at resolutions up to 1280x1024
• EPA Energy Star compliant
• Integrated microphone
• Cabinet-integrated speakers
• Built-in subwoofer (17-inch monitor only)
104-key Windows 95 compatible keyboard
PS/2 mouse
Data/FAX modem
Each Infinia™ Model comes equipped with V.34 full-duplex speakerphone fax-
modem operating at either 28.8 Kbps (upgradeable to 33.6 Kbps) or 33.6 Kbps.
Audio system
Full-duplex Sound Blaster - Pro compatible SRS 3-D sound is delivered through
speakers on the monitor.
200 watt power supply
3 ISA bus slots and 3 PCI bus slots for future expansion
One combination slot for either a PCI or ISA add-in board

Microprocessor
Each Infinia™ computer comes with a 3.3 volt Intel Pentium
®Processor running at 133 MHz
(Model 7130), 166 MHz (Model 7160), 166 MHz MMX
™(Model 7161), 200 MHz (Model
7200), or 200 MHz MMX
™(Models 7201and 7220). The processor is installed in a socket 7
zero insertion force (ZIF) socket. Socket 7 provides a processor upgrade path that includes
higher performance Pentium
®OverDrive™ processors and processors using MMX™
technology. An onboard linear voltage regulator circuitprovides the required 3.3 volts from
the 5.0 volt power supply.

Single Inline Memory Modules (SIMMs)
Infinia™ Models 7130 and 7160 computers come equipped with two 72-pin, 8 MB, 60 ns
EDO DRAM (Extended Data Out Dynamic RAM) SIMMs delivering 16 MB of RAM.
Models 7161, 7200, 7201, and 7220 come equipped with two 72-pin, 16 MB, 60 ns EDO
DRAM SIMMs delivering 32 MB of RAM.
The system board provides four 72-pin SIMM sockets that make it possible to install up to
128 MB of RAM. The sockets support 1 x 32 (4 MB), 2 x 32 (8 MB), 4 x 32 (16 MB), and 8
x 32 (32 MB) single- or double-sided modules. Minimum memory size is 8 MB and
maximum size, using four 8 x 32 SIMMs, is 128 MB. Memory timing requires 70 ns fast page
devices, or for optimum performance, 60 ns EDO DRAM (as delivered).
The four sockets are arranged in two banks of two sockets each. The sockets are designated
Bank 0 and Bank 1. Both SIMMs in a bank must be of the same memory size and type,
although the types of memory may differ between banks.
No jumper settings changes are required when replacing or upgrading SIMMs. The BIOS
automatically detects any changes.
Use only tin lead SIMMs when replacing or upgrading DRAM.
