Unpack all of the components and check
that you have all the parts required.
Please use the checklist on previous page.
Carefully dispose of the delivery pallet
and any excess timber.
Advisable: The underside of the oor must
be treated with a quality wood preserver.
Recommended: Paint shed
in an oil based treatment to
prevent water ingress into
the timber. Also silicon your
windows (Must silicon inside &
outside) to prevent rain water
seeping through the gaps
between glass and the timber.

Per Floor Section
PLEASE NOTE: All Shed Floors have the 4ft x 4ft Floor on the Left.
1a. Place the Floor panels with the Frame work pointing forwards (as shown in below)
then screw together using screws provided at the end of the bearer points.
1b. Check that all oor sections are securely attached and in a straight line to avoid any problems
later on the build stage.
Use a Spirit Level for accuracy
1c. Secure the oor sections together by
screwing the oor bearers at each end where
they meet as shown in diagram 1c.

have the smallest Floor
Panel on the End.

3a. Place the 4ft Door Panel against the far side of the
shed oor. Make sure the panel stands rmly on the
Heavy Duty Post (Floor Block).
3b. Now prepare the 4ft Blank Panel in order to create an
‘L’ shape in the corner with the two panels.
3c. DO NOT x the panels at this stage to the oor. This is
because you need to leave room for adjustements in the
nal stages of the shed build.
2a. In your kit you should nd 2x 4ft blocks.
These will act as your oor block.
2b. Fix together by screwing the Floor.
Blocks at each end as shown. Use the screws
provided and make sure the ends are xed
securely. 2 screws on each Floor Block will
suce. (Repeat for other side)

alongside the framework
as shown in Diagram 4b.
INFORMATION
Not all Sheds will have the
same panel arrangment.
Please Ensure that the 4ft
Panels are central for all
builds.
5a. Place the 4ft Blank Panel side against the corner of the back 4ft oor as shown making sure
the panel is sitting rmly on the shed oor and the side meeting the framework of the back 4ft
Blank Panel.
5b. Fix the panels together with
screws as shown in diagram. You
may require some supports to
keep the frame upright whilst
building longer sheds.

6a. Place the 4ft Blank Panel at the far RIGHT of the shed, connecting it with the rear sections.
(Same placement as the right side 4ft panel just on the other side).

frame is tted.

9a. Repeat the previous stage until all Window Panels have been secured in place. Once all of
the Wall panels have been secured, you can now screw the frame down to the base. Take time to
ensure that the walls are square.

Now attach all the 4ft Apex
Gable Ends and the 4ft Apex
Truss
10a. Place the the Roof Gable Ends as
shown below. The 2 outer sections will
be fully framed as below and any centre
trusses will t in between all panel
meeting points.
10b. Truss must sit in between panel sections
where two panels meet. Ensure the Gable Ends slot
neatly in to the current Tongue & Groove over lower
section, then screw down using the framework
behind.

Hide the panel edges.
Cover the framework &
seams.
11a. Use all the Side/Corner Strips to nish
o the shed, by covering any exposed
framework and the panel joining seams.
11b. Use a 3mm Drill bit to prevent the wood
from splitting. Use the 70mm Screws to secure
these Strips to place. it will take 3x screws to
properly six the Strips to the Shed.

the roof panels corresponding to the panel size for the Floor Front an Rear
13a. The Roof Panels will have one of its frame posts the other way round compared to the
other. The image below shows the correct orientation of the Frame posts.

CUTTING THE ROOF
FELT
Use the felt table to cut
your felt to the correct
size
14a. Use the Stanley knife to cut your felt into the correct size. Using the table below, nd the Build
size that you have and cut your felt down to achieve the size that you will need.
Example:
Apex Shed 4ft x 12ft
The 4 by 12 needs 3 sheets of felt. All at 13ft each.

ATTACH THE ROOF FELT
Use the felt lengths
provided.
15a. Apply the roof felt as shown. Apply lower levels rst to create
correct rain run o positions.
15b. Using a hammer, tack down the felt with the tacks provided in a
neat fashion.
15c. Trim down excess felt with a stanley knife. Remember to
overlay the 1st felt to avoid rain leaks.
15d. Tuck and fold edges neatly and tack in place to hide any
loose edges. Check that all areas are covered and there are no
holes to avoid any rain water getting through your felt roof.

Timber is a naturally grown product and may shrink and warp when dried out, timber is a porous
material which can absorb water. Although all of our buildings come pressure treated we strongly
advise the building is re-treated with an oil/spirit based treatment inside and out to make the timber
water repellent and to preserve the quality and life of the product.

16a. Using the felt strips provided cover the edges of the roofs and ends of the roof felt. You will
need to measure these and saw to t to your requirements and create the perfect roof nish as
shown below.
16b. Drill in the felt strips as shown on front and back of the shed to nish the roof o. Use the
framework of the roof blocks to screw the felt strips down to. The felt strips will give your shed a
neat nish for the roof and hide any overhang areas of the roof felt.
NOTE:
Location of the Felt Strips
16c. Felt Strips must be same height as roong
felt to allow rain water to run o. See Diagram on
the right.
