Place left gable panel on AFC and secure with 1-1/2" nails spaced evenly.

Place middle gable panel ush to left panel. Ensure panels are ush.
Secure panel to installed AFC with 1-1/2" nails.
Place second AFC as shown under middle panel and secure with 1-1/2" nails spaced evenly.
Place right gable panel ush to installed middle panel. Ensure panels are ush.
Secure to AFC with 1-1/2" nails spaced evenly.
Repeat STEPS 1 - 3 to build second gable assembly.
Your gable assemblies are now nished.

2Turn the gable frame over and attach FLM to CLA with (2) 3" screws (Fig. B).
Repeat STEPS 1 & 2 to build (3) additional gable overhang assemblies.
Repeat STEP 3 to build another gable frame assembly.
Fasten the two overhang assemblies together at the peak with 3" screws as shown (Fig. C).

Place left and right pre-assembled rafter (gusset facing in) resting on top of dormer frame and back wall top plate.
Ensure dormer rafter is ush along edge of panel and ush at peak of installed rafter (Fig. F, Fig. G).

Secure rafters to dormer frame and back wall top plate with (2) 3" screws above notch (Fig. E, Fig. F).

Align rafters at 21-3/8" (54,3 cm) measurement from inside of rafter (Fig. D).
Install middle rafter on dormer frame and back wall top plate (Fig. D, Fig. G).
Align rafter over back wall stud and at 45-3/8" (115,3 cm) measurement from inside of rafter (Fig. D).

Install assembled soft unit between rafter ends as shown.
Ensure soft unit is ush with rafter ends. Secure with 3" screws in the ends of UN and soft blocks KDA.
Secure UN with (4) screws evenly spaced and angled into wall top plate as shown below (Fig. A).
●HINT: Use a clamp at each side to hold soft frame ush and square with rafters during installation.

Use a gauge block to ensure the panel measures 3/4" (1,9 cm) along the length
of the rafter (Fig. A).
Panel should be ush with eave frame (Fig. B).
