it in the product or after removing it from the

This product has the following automatic flushing functions.
<Interval discharge pipe flush>
In addition to flushing after every use, discharge pipe flushing is performed every 2 hours.
Discharge pipe flushing is performed efficiently using 2 flushes, reducing urine accumulation
and urolith adhesion inside the discharge pipe.
<Intermittent spray flush>
To prevent damage due to sudden winter cold in normally temperate regions, the ambient
temperature is detected and intermittent flushing is performed to minimize the risk of freezing.
<“ewater+” cleaning> * Super water saving type only
Time periods when the urinal is not used for a long time, such as at night, are judged
automatically and the trap is filled periodically with "ewater+". Because the occurrence of
dirt inside the trap is reduced, the flush volume after use can be reduced.
* “ewater+” is water created by electrolyzing chloride ions contained in tap water, and
includes sanitizing components (hypochlorous acid).
* In the AC type, water is flushed when the power supply recovers after a power outage.
This is normal.
The above effects cannot be obtained while the power supply is off.

Although the Auto Flush Urinal is effective in reducing urolith adhesion,
it does not remove urolith that has already adhered. (The frequency of
periodic flushing can be reduced, but does not become unnecessary.)

[Cleaning the porcelain unit]
Any commercially available household
detergents can be used, regardless of
whether they are acidic, neutral or alkaline.
However, do not use detergents containing
abrasive compounds, industrial strongly acidic
or strongly alkaline detergents, or fluorine-based
detergents*1, because they may damage or
permeate the porcelain surface.
* TOTO’s Faucet Area Cleaner can be used.
*1 Including hydrogen fluoride and ammonium fluoride
Routine Maintenance
Maintenance keeps the toilet clean and extends its service life.
Please perform thorough and routine maintenance. Note that although
CeFiONtect parts have dirt prevention properties, routine maintenance is
still important to keep their surfaces clean.
About the cleaning tools
Do not use tools such as wire brushes, abrasive
nylon scrubbing pads or sandpaper, because
they will damage the surface.
Do not use any water repellant, stain-proofing
detergent or surface coating agent.
These products do not damage the porcelain
surface, but their components may cover the
porcelain surface and reduce the effect of the
built-in stain prevention technology.

been soaked in cold or lukewarm water.

●Wipe any detergent or water that has gotten on the

●Wear rubber gloves when removing and
cleaning the drain trap.
●When cleaning, use a neutral detergent
and soft sponge.
●Be careful not to soak the drain trap in hot
water or detergent or leave detergent on it
for a long time, because surface discoloration
may occur.

As the product deteriorates with use over a long time (deterioration
with time), safety issues may occur.To prevent serious accidents due

When the backup battery is discharged, the photoelectric sensor
flashes in 4-second cycles and the flushing function stops.
For battery replacement, please contact the construction party or the dealer.
Because the flushing function stops as soon as the photoelectric sensor
starts flashing in 4-second cycles, replace immediately with the designated
dry battery.

Connector connecting and disconnecting procedure
When the photoelectric sensor starts flashing in 4-second cycles, replace
the battery immediately with the following procedure.
1
Remove the waterproof cover from the
controller.
2Remove the discharged backup battery.
3Insert the backup battery into the designated
location.
4Connect the backup battery connector of the
controller to the connector of the backup battery.
5Install the waterproof cover onto the controller.
・Cannot be used for 5 minutes after connecting the backup battery.
Can be used within several seconds of connecting the
backup battery.
[When the replacement indicator (4-second cycles) is flashing]
[When the replacement indicator (4-second cycles) is not flashing]
・ For 5 to 10 minutes after connecting the backup battery, the
LED flashes during photoelectric sensor detection to enable
the detection status to be confirmed. After this, the LED does not flash even during
detection.

3When reinstalling the top lid,
place the top lid while pressing
the waterproof tape attached on
the top lid rear surface against
the wall.
