• Never add ingredients
to the chopper bowl
while the machine is
operating.
• The capacity of the
ingredient should not
exceed the maximum
level of the chopper
bowl.
• The chopper should
be run for no longer
than 30 seconds. After
this time, allow the
chopper to cool for at
least 2 minutes before
further use. After 3
cycles of continuous
use, allow the appliance
to cool down to room
temperature before
restarting.
• DO NOT operate the
appliance continuously.
Operating beyond the
recommended period
may cause the motor to
overheat. If the surface
of the appliance has
been very hot, it may
need time to cool
down. Allow the unit
to cool down to room
temperature and then
the appliance can be
used again.
• DO NOT use the
appliance to chop
ingredients that may be
too hard for the motor
and blades.
• DO NOT exceed
the quantities and
maximum time
indicated in the
operation guidelines or
processing guide.

• DO NOT operate the
chopper when the
glass bowl is empty, to
prevent overheating
and a potential fire
hazard.
• DO NOT use the
appliance in direct
sunlight or near
heating appliances
(heaters, stoves, ovens
etc.).
• DO NOT place hot or
boiling foods in the
glass bowl, as the motor
unit could overheat or
the glass in the bowl
could crack. Always
allow hot or boiling
foods to cool down
first before adding
them to the glass bowl
and processing them
with the Glass Bowl
Chopper.
• Take the blade unit off
before cleaning.
• Avoid coming into
contact with moving
parts.
• Keep fingers, hair,
clothing and utensils
away from the
chopper’s moving
parts.
• This appliance must be
used ONLY according
to the instructions.
• Unplug from outlet
when it is not in use,
before moving the
appliance or adding the
food.
• In the unlikely event
the appliance develops
a fault, stop using
it immediately and
seek advice from the
Customer Support
Team.

WARNING:
This appliance is double insulated.

IMPORTANT
As the colours in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with
the coloured markings identifying the
terminals in your plug, please proceed
as follows:
The wires in the mains lead are
coloured in accordance with the
following code:
Blue neutral [N] Brown
live [L]
Plug Fitting Details (Where Applicable).
The wire coloured blue is the neutral
and must be connected to the
terminal marked [N] or coloured black.
The wire coloured brown is the live
wire and must be connected to the
terminal marked [L] or coloured red.
On no account must either the brown
or the blue wire be connected to the
[EARTH] terminal .
Always ensure that the cord grip is
fastened correctly.
The plug must be fitted with a fuse
of the same rating already fitted and
conforming to BS 1362 and be ASTA
approved.
If in doubt consult a qualified
electrician who will be pleased to do
this for you.
Non-Rewireable Mains Plug.
If your appliance is supplied with a
non-rewireable plug fitted to the
mains lead and should the fuse need
replacing, you must use an ASTA
approved one (conforming to BS 1362
of the same rating).
If in doubt, consult a qualified
electrician who will be pleased to do
this for you.
If you need to remove the plug –
disconnect it from the mains – and
then cut it off of the mains lead and
immediately dispose of it in a safe
manner. Never attempt to reuse the
plug or insert it into a socket outlet as
there is a danger of an electric shock.

Before First Use:
Read all instructions and safety information carefully before first use. Please retain this information
for future reference.
1. Remove your appliance from the packaging and remove the blade protective cover.
2. Before using the appliance for the first time, carefully clean the lid, bowl and blade unit. DO
NOT use any aggressive detergents, brushes with metal or nylon bristles or sharp objects such
as knives or spatulas for cleaning the unit.
3. Your appliance is now ready for normal use.
4. Dispose of the packaging in a responsible manner.
Setting up and filling the Glass Bowl Chopper:
1. Ensure the unit is not connected to the mains socket.
2. Place the non-slip ring on an even, dry surface.
3. Place the glass bowl on the plastic non-slip ring. Make sure that it is centred on the non-slip
ring and that the edges of the non-slip ring are not bent.
4. Place the cutting blades on the stainless steel guide pin.
5. Prepare the food.
6. Fill the glass bowl with the food to be processed. Note the recommendations and never overfill
the glass bowl beyond the maximum level indicator.
7. Place the lid on to the glass bowl so that the thinner cylinder of the blade unit shaft is
protruding slightly through the hole in the middle of the lid.
8. Place the main body onto the lid, aligning the indents of the main body with the
corresponding shaped element in the lid.
9. Plug the unit into the mains socket.
10. Press the top cover downwards with one hand, whilst holding the handle of the chopper bowl
with the other hand.
11. The unit will start operating. Release pressure on the top cover to stop the unit operating.
Dismantling the Glass Bowl Chopper:
CAUTION: If your chopper becomes clogged, first stop the unit and unplug the appliance before
clearing the inside.
1. Unplug the appliance and remove the main body.
2. Remove the lid.
3. Take the blade unit out of the bowl by holding the plastic shaft.
4. Remove the food from the chopper bowl.
CAUTION! The edges of the blades are very sharp, do not touch them.

Troubleshooting:

The mixture is not
blending. Try chopping your ingredients into smaller pieces.
How long can I use
the mini chopper for
before it needs to
rest?
Do not exceed 30 seconds running time.
Allow the appliance to rest for a minimum of at least 2 minutes between
blending cycles. Allow to cool to room temperature after 3 cycles.
Can I run the mini
chopper while it is
empty?
It is not recommended to operate the product empty.
The blades are not
operating smoothly. Unplug the chopper. Add a small amount of liquid or reduce the solid
contents in the container for a smoother operation.

Cleaning & Care:
1. Unplug the appliance and put the motor unit to one side.
2. The bowl, blades and lid can all be washed in warm, soapy water.
CAUTION: Take care when cleaning the blades as they are extremely sharp.
NOTE: The glass bowl and chopping blades are dishwasher safe.
3. Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth.
4. Do not immerse the motor unit in water.
5. Make sure that the appliance is cleaned after every use.
6. Do not use scouring pads, steel wool, any form of strong solvents or abrasive cleaning agents to
clean the appliance; they may damage the outside surfaces of the appliance.
IMPORTANT: Allow to dry fully after cleaning before using again.
WARNING:
DO NOT immerse any electrical part of
the appliance in water such as motor units
or plugs.

To store your appliance:
1. Unplug the power cord from the power outlet and clean as above.
2. Allow the appliance to dry fully.
3. Re-attach the protective blade cover.
4. Assemble the appliance with blades in place and store out of reach of children.
