• Antes de usar a roçadeira, leia atentamente o manual de uso e manutenção.
• Use gasolina de boa qualidade, misturada com 4% (25/1) de óleo 2 tempos e, após o uso, não
deixar gasolina no tanque.
• Antes de iniciar o corte, inspecione o local onde a roçadeira será utilizada e remova todos os
objetos estranhos como arames, pedras, tocos, etc.
• Não trabalhe com a roçadeira sob chuva ou em locais molhados.
• Verifique e limpe, antes de cada uso, o filtro de ar.
• Ao adquirir este produto receba GRÁTIS ENTREGA TÉCNICA, procurando a rede de postos

montagem
Montagem do Protetor [Fig. 01]
1. Retire os dois parafusos de fixação (A).
2. Posicione o protetor (B) no tubo da roçadeira.
3. Posicione a abraçadeira meia-lua no encaixe do protetor, coincidindo a furação com o tubo.
4. Aperte os dois parafusos maiores (A) no protetor. Nos modelos RC33B e RC43B aperte
também o parafuso menor (C) no tubo da roçadeira.
5.RC26 Remova a proteção plástica da lâmina do limitador do fio.
Montagem do Eixo (Modelo RC26B)
1. Afrouxe o manípulo (1) ao lado da conexão (3), [Fig. 02].
2. Pressione a alavanca (2) e deslize, com cuidado, o eixo (4) para dentro da conexão, [Fig. 02].
3. Encaixe o engate da alavanca (6) com o furo no eixo (5), [Fig. 03]. Feito isso, reaperte o manípulo
para fixar o conjunto.

Montagem do Guidão
Gire o manípulo no sentido anti-horário para afrouxar a presilha. Instale o guidão dentro da
presilha e gire novamente o manípulo para apertar o conjunto, [Fig. 04]. Tome cuidado para que
o cabo não se enrole ao redor da presilha, [Fig. 05].
Montagem do carretel de nylon, [Fig. 06]
1. Alinhe o furo da caixa de engrenagens (A) com o entalhe (B) na flange interna (C).
2. Insira a trava (chave L 4 mm) (D) no orifício localizado na caixa de engrenagens.
3. Gire o eixo com a mão até seu completo travamento.
4. Posicione o carretel de fio nylon (E) girando-o no sentido anti-horário até dar o aperto suficiente
para a fixação do conjunto.
Montagem da lâmina de corte, [Fig. 07] (exclusiva para os modelos RC33B e RC43B)
1. Alinhe o furo da caixa de engrenagens (A) com o entalhe (B) na flange interna (C).
2. Insira a trava (chave L 4 mm) (D) no orifício localizado na caixa de engrenagens.
2. Gire o eixo com a mão até seu completo travamento.
3. Posicione a lâmina de corte (E) na flange interna (D), em seguida a flange externa (F), a proteção
do parafuso (G) e a arruela (H), e fixe-as apertando firmemente a porca de fixação da lâmina (J) no
sentido anti-horário, com auxilio da chave combinada que acompanha o produto.

Não utilize lâminas que estiverem dobradas, empenadas, rachadas, quebradas ou danificadas de
alguma forma.
funCionamento
Abastecimento de combustível
Abasteça o tanque de combustível com gasolina de boa qualidade e bem misturada com 4%
(25/1) de óleo 2 tempos.
O combustível é altamente inflamável e pode causar graves ferimentos se for
inalado ou derramado no seu corpo.Atue sempre com máxima cautela quando
tiver que manusear o combustível. Permaneça em local com boa ventilação
quando tiver que manusear o combustível no interior de uma edificação.
Nunca abasteça a roçadeira com o motor em funcionamento.
Quando abastecer o combustível, abra lentamente a tampa do tanque de combustível para aliviar
qualquer pressão existente.
Após o abastecimento aperte a tampa do tanque de combustível cuidadosamente.
Afaste a roçadeira pelo menos 3 m da área de abastecimento antes de arrancar o motor.
Lave sempre qualquer combustível derramado na pele e/ou roupa imediatamente com água e
sabão.
Verifique se não há fuga de combustível após o abastecimento.
Ligar e desligar a roçadeira
Para ligar o equipamento, proceda da seguinte forma:
1. Coloque o interruptor na posição START, [Fig. 06].
2. Coloque o afogador na posição fechada (para cima), [Fig. 07].
3. Aperte o injetor primer (3) 10 vezes, [Fig. 08].
4. Puxe com firmeza o cordão de acionamento do motor até que o mesmo entre em funcionamento.
5. Coloque o afogador na posição aberta (para baixo), [Fig. 07].
Se o motor não ligar, repita os procedimentos anteriores. Quando o motor ligar, deixe-o
funcionando por cerca de 2 minutos para aquecê-lo.
Para desligar o equipamento:
1. Coloque o interruptor na posição STOP, [Fig. 06].

SEGURANÇA DO EQUIPAMENTO
Inspecione o aparelho antes do uso. Verifique se existem fugas de combustível e certifique-se de
que todos os parafusos e porcas estejam corretamente montados e apertados.
Substitua todas as peças que estiverem rachadas, lascadas ou danificadas antes de usar o
equipamento.
Mantenha outras pessoas afastadas ao fazer ajustes no carburador.
O combustível é facilmente inflamável e pode explodir. Tenha cautela quando
estiver manuseando ou abastecendo de combustível.
CORTE
Antes de iniciar o corte, inspecione o local onde a roçadeira será utilizada e
remova todos os objetos estranhos como arames, pedras, tocos, etc.
Vista o cinto de sustentação no ombro esquerdo, amarre na cintura e ajuste-o de forma que o
gancho permaneça um pouco abaixo da linha da cintura, [Fig. 10].
Durante o trabalho a roçadeira deve sempre estar presa ao cinto de sustentação.
Para cortar, coloque o motor em aceleração máxima e realize o corte movendo-se da direita para
a esquerda. Após, alivie a aceleração do motor, retorne para a posição inicial e, antes de entrar na
próxima área de corte, coloque novamente o motor em aceleração máxima, [Fig. 09].
Escolha entre o fio de nylon e lâmina de corte:
- Utilize o fio de nylon para cortar gramados e fazer acabamentos.
- Utilize a lâmina para cortar capim, arbusto, capoeiras e vegetação rasteira, etc.
Liberação do Fio de Nylon
A liberação do fio de nylon ocorre de forma automática quando o carretel for pressionado contra o
chão a baixas rotações do motor (inferior a 4500 rpm). O excesso de fio será cortado pela lâmina
limitadora do protetor, [Fig. 11].

Recarga do Fio de Nylon
1. Retire a tampa do carretel (1), pressionando as duas presilhas, [Fig. 12],
2. Retire o carretel da tampa, [Fig. 13].
3. Use 4 metros de fio de nylon (diâmetro) de 2,4 mm, divida ao meio (dobrando), encaixe a dobra
na fresta do carretel e enrole no sentido da seta, 2 metros em cada cavidade do carretel, [Fig. 14].
4. Passe os fios nos ilhós, recoloque o carretel na tampa e esta no porta-carretel.
5. O comprimento do fio de nylon deve ser de 11 a 14 cm em ambos os lados, [Fig. 15].
Não utilize fio de nylon com diâmetro superior a 2,4 mm.
ORIENTAÇÕES PARA DESCARTE DE RESÍDUOS
O descarte incorreto de óleo, gasolina e componentes contaminados com estas substâncias agride a
natureza, por isso devem ser armazenados em recipientes apropriados e levados a postos autorizados
para coleta. Os demais resíduos que são possíveis reciclar, enviar para reciclagem.
manutenção
Em qualquer manutenção, desligue o motor e desconecte o cabo da vela.
Lubrificação da caixa de engrenagem, [Fig. 16]
1. Remova o parafuso da caixa de engrenagens.
2. Adicione uma pequena quantidade de graxa a base de sabão de lítio a cada 50 horas de uso.
3. Recoloque o parafuso.

Limpe o filtro de ar antes de cada uso com água e sabão e seque-o antes de montar. Substitua-o
quando estiver saturado ou danificado.
Limpe a vela de ignição periodicamente. Substitua-a após 100 horas de uso ou quando o eletrodo
estiver gasto. A abertura do eletrodo da vela é de 0,7 mm.
Substitua o filtro de combustível quando estiver entupido, muito sujo ou após 100 horas de uso.
Nunca utilize jato de água para limpar a roçadeira,limpe com uma esponja ou pano úmido e detergente
neutro.
Recomenda-se a utilização de peças de reposição originais.

Em qualquer manutenção, limpeza, transporte, armazenagem e regulagem da roçadeira, desligue-a
aguardando a parada do conjunto de corte.
Não permita que pessoas inexperientes usem a roçadeira sem antes ler o manual de instruções.
Ligue o equipamento somente quando as mãos e os pés estiverem afastados do sistema de corte.
Evite ambientes perigosos. Não utilize a roçadeira em lugares úmidos ou molhados.
Nunca abasteça de combustível com o motor em funcionamento.
Desligue o motor e deixe-o esfriar pelo menos 2 minutos antes de retirar o tampão do tanque de
combustível.
A gasolina e seus vapores são extremamente inflamáveis e explosivos. O fogo ou uma explosão poderá
provocar graves queimaduras ou morte.
Dê a partida e faça funcionar o motor em áreas externas. Não acione nem faça funcionar o motor em
áreas fechadas, mesmo que as janelas ou as portas estejam abertas. Os motores liberam monóxido de
carbono, um gás tóxico inodoro e incolor. Respirar monóxido de carbono poderá provocar náuseas,
desmaios ou morte.
Não utilize a roçadeira na chuva. Utilize sempre durante o dia ou com boa iluminação.
Mantenha crianças ou animais à distância da roçadeira quando ele estiver em operação. Todas as
pessoas, especialmente crianças devem encontrar-se à uma distância segura da área de trabalho. Não
permita que crianças usem a roçadeira.
Não force a roçadeira. O equipamento fará o trabalho da melhor maneira possível e com segurança se
for utilizado nas condições designadas.
Quando não utilizado, a roçadeira deve permanecer fora do alcance das crianças.
Não seja autoconfiante - Mantenha os pés no solo para manter o equilíbrio.
Vista-se de maneira adequada - Não use roupas soltas ou joias, pois podem se enganchar nas partes
móveis do equipamento.
Utilize óculos de segurança, proteção para os ouvidos, luvas e calçados fechados.
Utilize o equipamento corretamente - Não utilize a roçadeira para nenhum outro trabalho a não ser
ao que lhe foi designado.

defeito de fabricação pelo período total de 6 (seis) meses, sendo 3 (três) meses de garantia contratual
e 90 (noventa) dias de garantia legal, conforme estabelece o artigo 26 do Código de Defesa do
Consumidor.
O prazo de contagem da garantia inicia-se com a emissão da Nota Fiscal de venda do equipamento,
que deverá ser anexada ao presente termo, sendo que a garantia será válida somente mediante
apresentação da nota fiscal de compra.
O comprador será responsável pelas despesas de embalagem e transporte até o Serviço Autorizado
Tramontina mais próximo.
O comprador é responsável pelas revisões, manutenções e limpezas periódicas necessárias ao
equipamento, bem como pela observação a todos os cuidados dispostos no manual de uso.
São situações não cobertas pela garantia:
- Danos causados pela não observância das orientações contidas neste manual;
- Peças danificadas pelo: desgaste natural, acidentes, uso e manutenção incorreta do aparelho ou
imperícia do operador;
- Avarias decorrentes do uso de óleos lubrificantes e/ou combustíveis inadequados (fora da
especificação técnica);
- Avarias decorrentes da ausência de óleo, óleo insuficiente, óleo em excesso ou diferente do
recomendado;
- Revisões provocadas por problemas de combustível e óleos inadequados (limpeza interna);
- Quando o equipamento apresentar sinais de violação, utilização de peças não originais ou ter sido
consertado por pessoas não autorizadas pela TRAMONTINA.

assemBly
Debris Guard Assembly [Fig. 01]
1. Remove both fastening screws (A).
2. Place debris guard (B) on the trimmer tube.
3. Place the half-moon bracket on the debris guard slot aligning the opening with the tube.
4. Tighten both large screws (A) on the debris guard. On models RC33B and RC43B also tighten the
smaller screw on the trimmer’s tube.
Axle Assembly (Model RC26B)
1. Loosen handle (1) located next to the fitting (3), [Fig. 02].
2. Press lever (2) and carefully slide the axle (4) into the fitting, [Fig. 02].
3. Fit the handle catch (6) to the axle opening (5), [Fig. 03].Then, tighten the handle to secure the assembly.
Handlebar Assembly
Rotate the handle counter-clockwise to loosen the clip. Install the handlebar within the clip and rotate
the handle again to tighten the assembly, [Fig. 04]. Make sure that the handle does not become
wrapped around the clip, [Fig. 05].
Cutting-line Head Assembly [Fig. 06]
1. Align the gearbox opening (A) with the notch (B) on the internal flange (C).
2. Insert the 4 mm L-wrench (1) in the opening of the gearbox.
3. Turn the axle by hand until it completely locks in place.
4. Position the nylon reel (E) rotating it counter-clockwise until it is tight enough to fasten the assembly.
Blade assembly [Fig. 07] (exclusively for models RC33B e RC43B)
1. Align the gearbox opening (A) with the notch (B) on the internal flange (C).
2. Insert the 4 mm L-wrench (1) in the opening of the gearbox.
2. Turn the axle by hand until it completely locks in place.
3. Position the cutting blade (E) on the internal flange (D), and then on the outer flange (F), protected
by screw (G) and washer (H), fastening by tightening the blade locknut (J) counter-clockwise using the
combined wrench that comes with the product.

Fueling
Use good quality gasoline mixed with 4% (25/1) 2-stroke oil in the fuel tank.The tank holds 500 ml.
QuiCk use guide
• Before using the brushcutter, carefully read the user’s and maintenance manual.
• Use good quality gasoline mixed with 4% (25/1) 2-stroke oil, and after using, do not leave gasoline
in the fuel tank.
Before beginning to trim, check the location where the brushcutter will be used and remove any
unusual objects, such as wires, stones, branches, etc.
• Do not use the brushcutter in the rain or under wet conditions.
• Check and clean the air filter before each use.
• Now that you are the owner of a Tramontina brushcutter, you will receive FREE TECHNICAL
SUPPORT from our network of authorized Tramontina service centers.

Gasoline is highly flammable and can cause serious injury if it is inhaled or comes
into contact with the body. Always use extreme caution when handling fuel. Use
adequate ventilation when handling fuel in an enclosed place.
Never fill up the brushcutter while the engine is running.
When adding fuel, open the fuel tank slowly to allow the release of any excess pressure.
After filling the fuel tank, carefully tighten the fuel tank cover.
Keep the brushcutter at least 10 feet away from the fueling area before turning on the engine.
Immediately wash off with soap and water any fuel that gets on your skin or clothing.
Check that there is no fuel leakage after fueling.
Starting and stopping the brushcutter
Follow these steps to turn the device on:
1. Turn the ignition switch (1) to the ON position, [Fig. 05].
2. Close the choke (2) (move to position A), [Fig.06].
3. Press the primer pump (3) 10 times, [Fig.07].
4. Pull the starter cord firmly until the engine starts, [Fig. 08].
5. Open the choke (move to position B), [Fig. 06].
If the engine does not start, repeat the steps above. When the engine starts, let it run for about 2 minutes
to warm up.
To shut off the equipment:
1. Turn the ignition switch (1) to the OFF position, [Fig. 05].

SAFE USE OF THE EQUIPMENT
Check the device before each use. Check for any fuel leaks and be sure that
all nuts and bolts are correctly in place and tightened.
Replace all parts that are cracked, torn or damaged before using equipment.
Keep all persons away when adjusting the carburetor.
Fuel is very flammable and can explode. Be careful when handling fuel or filling fuel
tank.
CUTTING
Before beginning to cut, inspect the area where the brushcutter will be used and
remove all hazardous objects, such as wire, stones, branches, etc.
To cut, turn the engine to the highest speed and move the device from right to left. When done
with an area, decrease the engine speed, return to your original position and, before entering the

next area of cutting, turn the engine up again to the highest speed, [Fig. 09].
Choosing between the nylon line and the cutting blade:
- Use the nylon line for trimming and edging lawns.
- Use the cutting blade for cutting tall grass, bushes, weeds, undergrowth, etc.
Place the shoulder harness over your left shoulder, tie around your waist and adjust it so that the clasp
sits a little below the belt-line, [Fig. 10].
The brushcutter should always be connected to the shoulder harness while working.
Release of Nylon Line
The nylon line is released automatically when the cutter-line head is pressed against the ground with the
engine running low (at less than 4500 rpm).Any excess line is cut off by the cutter on the debris guard,[Fig.11].
Replacing the Nylon Line
1. Remove the cover of the cutter-line head (1), squeezing the clasps on either side, [Fig. 12].
2. Then remove the cutter-line head from its casing, [Fig. 13].
3. Take 4 meters of 2.4 mm diameter nylon line, fold in half, thread the folded part through the slit in the
cutter-line head and twist in the direction indicated by the arrow, with 2 meters on each side of the cutter-
line head, [Fig. 14].
4. Thread the lines through the eyelets, replace the cutter-line head in its casing, and then replace the
cutter-line head cover.
5. The nylon line should be between 11 and 14 cm long on each side, [Fig. 15].
Do not use nylon line with a diameter greater than 2.4 mm.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR WASTE DISPOSAL
Improper disposal of oil, gasoline and toxic parts endangers the environment. Such items should be stored
in proper containers and dropped off at authorized collection centers. Recyclable waste items should be
recycled.

Always turn off the engine and disconnect the spark plug wire whenever performing
any maintenance.
Greasing the gearbox [Fig. 16]
1. Remove the screw from the gearbox.
2. Add a small amount of lithium grease after every 50 hours of use.
3. Replace the screw.
Clean the air filter with soap and water before each use and dry it before putting back in place. Replace
the filter when it is dirty or damaged.
Clean the spark plug periodically. Replace it after 100 hours of use or when the electrode is worn out. The
spark plug electrode opening is 0.6 mm.
Replace the fuel filter when it is clogged, very dirty or after 100 hours of use.
Never use running water to clean the brushcutter. Clean it with mild detergent and a moist sponge or cloth.
It is recommended that only original parts be used when replacing parts.

BasiC safety Rules
Always shut off the brushcutter and wait for the cutting mechanism to fully stop before doing any
maintenance, cleaning, transporting, storing or adjusting of the device.
Do not allow anyone unfamiliar with the brushcutter to use it without first reading the instruction manual.
Keep hands and feet away from the cutting mechanism when turning on device.
Avoid unsafe conditions. Do not use the brushcutter under humid or wet conditions.
Never fill with fuel while the engine is running.
Shut off the engine and let it cool down for at least 2 minutes before opening the fuel tank.
Gasoline and gasoline fumes are extremely inflammable and explosive. Fire or an explosion can cause
serious burns and even death.
Only use the device outdoors. Do not use or turn on the device in enclosed areas, even if windows and doors
are left open. Engines release carbon monoxide, a scentless and colorless gas.
Inhaling carbon monoxide can cause nausea, fainting and even death.
Do not use the brushcutter in the rain. Always use it during daylight or with good lighting conditions.
Keep children and animals away from the brushcutter when it is in operation. Everyone, especially children,
should keep a safe distance from the work area. Do not allow children to use the brushcutter.
Do not force the brushcutter.The equipment will work best and in the safest manner if it is used as intended.
Keep the brushcutter out of the reach of children when not in use.
Do not take risks; keep both feet firmly on the ground to maintain your balance.
Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry as they can get caught in the machine’s
moving parts.
Use safety glasses, ear protectors, gloves and closed-toe shoes.
Use the brushcutter properly. Do not use it for any purpose other than for what it was intended.

TRAMONTINA MULTI S.A. guarantees this product against any manufacturing defect for a period of 6
(six) months, of which 3 (three) months are contractual warranty and 90 (ninety) days are legal warranty,
according to article 26 of the Consumer Protection Code.
The period of this warranty dates from the date of emission of the equipment sales receipt, which should
be attached to this agreement, with the warranty only being valid on presentation of the sales receipt.
The purchaser is responsible for shipping and packaging costs to the nearest Tramontina Authorised
Service provider.
The purchaser is responsible for the equipment’s necessary periodical inspection, maintenance and
cleaning, and also for observing all the care requirements in the user’s manual.
The following are not covered by warranty:
- Damage caused by not following the guidance in this manual;
- Parts damaged by natural wear, accident, incorrect use and maintenance of the equipment or operator
misuse;
- Damage resulting from inappropriate use of lubricants or fuel (beyond technical specifications);
- Damage resulting from lack of oil, insufficient oil, excess oil or different from that recommended;
Revision caused by inappropriate fuel and oil problems (internal cleaning);
Necessary periodical cleaning, maintenance and inspection of the equipment;
Equipment displaying signs of tampering, use of non-original parts, or repair by people not authorised by
TRAMONTINA.
NOTE
ALL PARTS PROVEN TO HAVE MANUFACTURING DEFECTS WILL BE REPLACED FREE OF CHARGE.
THE EQUIPMENT WILL NOT BE EXCHANGED.
