På sidan av mottagaren finns en
3‑läges omkopplare för att reglera
ljudstyrkan på ringsignalen. Ställ
omkopplaren till önskad ljudnivå.
På baksidan finns även en om‑
kopplare för att byta kanal på
mottagaren, om exempelvis flera
olika system används inom samma
område.
Notera att om mottagarkanalen
ändras, måste även sändarna stäl‑
las om till samma kanal.

Volymreglage
Montering
Monteringen av Lynx 2000 är mycket enkel och tar endast ett par
minuter.
Anslut mottagaren till ett vägguttag centralt i bostaden.
Kontrollera funktionen genom att aktivera en Lynx‑sändare ett par
gånger och invänta
signalen. Exempel på Lynx‑sändare kan vara Lynx Smoke Detector och
Lynx Door Transmitter.

Batteribackup
Enheten har en inbyggd batteri‑
backup vilket gör att den fungerar
även om spänningen i vägguttaget
försvinner. Batteriet är inte laddat
vid leverans varför enheten behöver
vara inkopplad i 18 timmar för att
backupbatteriet ska bli helt upp‑
laddat. Ett helt uppladdat batteri
gör att enheten fungerar i 12 tim‑
mar baserat på att den ger ett larm
varje halvtimma.
Batterivarningssignal
Lynx Brandlarm avger en signal
om låg batterinivå till Lynx 2000.
Då avges en ljudsignal som är 1
sekund lång för att uppmärksam‑
ma om detta. Andra Lynx‑sändare
med låg batterinivå kommer varna
om detta i samband med att den
används, detta genom att Lynx
2000 först avger en batterisignal på
1 sekund och sedan avge ljudet för
larmet från sändaren.

Felsökning
Flytta enheten
Om apparaten inte fungerar, prova
med att flytta mottagaren alternativt
sändaren till en annan plats i bosta‑
den.
Byta radiokanal
Om ni använder enheter som ring‑
klockan eller telefonlarmet som
ljuder utan orsak (d.v.s. ingen person
vid telefonen eller ingen besökare
vid dörren) så kan det bero på att
någon annan i närheten också har
en radiosändare till telefonen och
dörrklockan som sänder på samma
radiokanal. Prova då med att ställa
om radiokanalen.
Byta kanal på motta-
gare
Mottagaren är inställd på kanal 9 vid
leverans.
Använd en smal skruvmejsel och byt
kanal genom att vrida på kanalvälja‑
ren ett steg medurs.

Skötsel och säkerhet
Rengöring och underhåll
Dammsug produkten på utsidan med en mjuk borste. Använd en lätt fuktad
trasa för att torka av den utvändigt. Använd aldrig rengöringsmedel eller lös‑
ningsmedel. Kontrollera då och då att sladdar och inkopplingar är hela.
Service
Om produkten går sönder måste du lämna den till en auktoriserad tekniker
för reparation. Du får aldrig själv öppna produkten, för då upphör garantin att
gälla. Vänd dig till din hörcentral eller till återförsäljaren om du får problem
med produkten.
Avfallshantering
Denna produkt innehåller elektrisk eller elektronisk utrustning. Kasta
inte produkten i soporna när den är uttjänt. Vänd dig till din hörcentral
eller till återförsäljaren för anvisning om hur avfallet ska hanteras.
Allmänna försiktighetsåtgärder
Strålning som innehåller låg energi (t.ex. från inbrottslarm, rumsövervaknings‑
system, radioutrustning och mobiltelefoner) är ofarliga för produkten. Dessa
typer av strålning kan dock i vissa fall påverka ljudkvaliteten eller framkalla
störningsljud från produkten.
Varning: Externa enheter som kopplas till produkten måste uppfylla tillämpliga
krav på säkerhet enligt EN 60601‑1‑1, EN 60335‑1 eller EN 60065.

On the side of the receiver is a 3‑posi‑
tion switch to control the volume of the
ringtone. Set the switch at the desired
sound level.
On the back there is also a switch to
change the channel of the receiver, for
example when different systems are
used in the same area.
Note that if the receivers channel is
changed, the transmitters must also be
switched to the same channel.

channel, see the troubleshooting section.
Volumecontrol
Assembling
The assembling of Lynx 2000 is very simple and will only take a
few minutes.
Plug the receiver into an outlet in the center of the housing.
Check the functionality by activate an Lynx‑transmitter a few times and
await the signal.
Examples of Lynx Transmitter can be Lynx Smoke Detector and Lynx
Door Transmitter.

Backup battery
The unit has a build‑in backup
battery which allows it to work
even if the voltage in the socket
disappears. The battery is not char‑
ged at delivery so the device needs
to be plugged in for 18 hours to
fully charge the backup battery. A
fully charged battery allows the de‑
vice to function for 12 hours based
on that it gives an alarm every half
hour.
Battery warning signal
Lynx Smoke Detector emits a
signal if the battery level is low to
Lynx 2000. When this happens, an
audiosignal of 1 second is emitted.
Other Lynx‑transmitters with low
battery will warn about this when
used, this by Lynx 2000 first emitts
a battery signal of 1 second and
then emitts the alarm signal from
the transmitter.

Troubleshooting
Move the unit
If the device does not work, try mo‑
ving the receiver, alternatively the
transmitter to another location in
housing.
Change Channel
If you are using devices as the doorbell
or the phone alarm and they sound for
no reason (ie no person on the phone
or no visitors at the door) it may be that
someone nearby also uses a radiotrans‑
mitter for the phone and doorbell on the
same radio channel. Then try changing
the channel on your devices.
Change the channel on
the receiver
The receiver is set the channel 9 on
delivery.
Use a small screwdriver and change the
channel by turning the tuning dial one
step clockwise.

Care and safety
Cleaning and maintenance
Vacuum the product on the outside with a soft brush. Use a damp cloth to wipe
down the outside. Never use detergents or solvents. Occasionally check that the
cables and connections are intact.
Service
If unit is broken, please return it to an authorized technician. You should never
attempt to open the product. If you do so, the warranty will no longer be valid.
Contact the place where the equipment was purchased from if there are any
problems with the product.
Dipsosal
This product contains electrical and / or electronic components and must
be treated as elec‑ tronic waste. The product must not be disposed of
with other household waste but must be delivered to recycling centers or
manufacturing site.
General precautions
Radiation containing low energy (eg from burglar alarms, room surveillance
systems, radio equipment, cell phones) are not harmful to the product. These
types of radiation may in some cases affect the sound quality or create noise in
the device.
Warning; External devices connected to the product must meet the applicable
requirements for safety according to EN 60601‑1‑1, EN 60335‑1 eller EN
60065.
