• A computer with a wired or wireless network adapter and web browser
• Broadband internet
• Installed modem
2. Installation
1. Verify that you have an internet connection.
2. Power down your modem.
3. Disconnect the network cable from your modem and your computer.
4. Connect your modem to the T W-731BR's internet (WAN) port.
5. Connect your computer to one of the wireless router's LAN ports.

6. Connect the power adapter to the router and then to a power outlet.
7. Power on your modem. Wait until the L Ds on the modem indicate that it is ready. For more
information on your modem's L Ds, please refer with your modem's user's guide.
8. Verify that the status L D indicators on the front of the router confirm that the device is ready:
Power (Green), Status (Green), Internet (WAN) (Green/Blinking), W LAN (Green) and LAN
(1, 2, 3, 4) (G reen/Blinking) for connected devices.
Note: It is recommended that you configure the Wireless Router from a wired computer.
9. Open your web browser; the wizard will automatically appear. If the wizard does not appear, type
http://tew-731br into the address bar of your web browser, and press enter. nter your username
and password, click Login and then click W izard. You can find the default usernam e and
password on the labels on the top and bottom of the router.
Note: You can also access the device using the default IP address (http://192.168.10 1).

10. Select the desired language and then click Next.
11. Please wait while the wireless router detects your internet connection.
12. Click Save.

13. Please wait while changes are being applied. Setup is complete.
Note:
1. For added security we have pre-encrypted each T W-731BR with a unique Wi-Fi Name (SSID) and
Wi-Fi Key (Wi-Fi password). You can find these pre-configured settings on the labels on the top and
bottom of the router. You will use this information to connect to the router wirelessly. To change the
Wi-Fi Key, refer to the product manual. If the wireless router is reset, the Wi-Fi Name and the Wi-Fi
Key will also reset to factory defaults.
2. To log back in to the wireless router, you will need to know the router's username and password.
You can find the default username and password on the labels on the top and bottom of the router.

14. Open a web browser and enter a web address (for example, www.trendnet.com) to verify that you
have internet connection.
