INSTRUCTIONS (ENGLISH)
Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this TrickleStarTM product. This product
provides enhanced controls to reduce wasteful energy
consumption of heating and cooling appliances, which do not
include temperature controls. This product is suitable for the
control of devices such as electrical heaters, heating fans, portable
air-conditioners and cooling fans.

Celsius / Fahrenheit Display
To switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit, switch the product
OFF using the button if not already OFF (Status Indicator
OFF). Press and buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to
switch display between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
Factory Default Setting
The factory default settings are:
Cooling Mode and a temperature “SET POINT” of 20°C / 68°F.
Application / Installation
Plug the product into a wall outlet and plug an appliance to be
controlled into the Control Socket.
Select Cooling / Heating Mode
To switch between Cooling and Heating Mode , switch the
product OFF using the Button if not already OFF (Status
Indicator OFF).
Press the button and button simultaneously for 3 seconds to
switch between Cooling and Heating Modes.
Cooling Mode Setup
1. Select Cooling Mode.
2. Press button to switch product ON.
3. Press or button to adjust to the required temperature
Set-point.
Cooling Mode Operation
When room temperature is higher than the Target Set-point
, the Status Indicator will illuminate GREEN and the Control
Socket will switch ON within 3 min.
When room temperature is lower than the Target Set-point
, the Status Indicator will illuminate RED and the Control
Socket will switch OFF within 3 minutes.
Heating Mode Setup
1. Select Heating Mode.
2. Press button to switch product ON.
3. Press or button to adjust the temperature Set-point.

Heating Mode Operation
When room temperature is lower than the Set-point ,
the Status Indicator will illuminate GREEN and the Control Socket
will switch ON within 3 min.
When room temperature is higher than the Set-point
the Status Indicator will illuminate RED and the Control Socket will
switch OFF within 3 minutes.
Restore Factory Defaults
Press the Reset Button for 2 seconds to restore factory defaults.
Battery
The product contains a rechargeable battery to store settings if
power is removed.
If the battery level is low, a “LO” icon will flash in the display.
Connect the product to a power outlet for 1 hour to recharge the
battery. If the battery is fully discharged, the factory defaults will be
restored.
