INTRODUCTION
Trident Sales Associates thanks you and congratulates you for choosing the
Heavy Weight 660. This state-of-the-art hydraulic press has been designed
and manufactured in compliance with Directive 89/32/CEE and subsequent
modifications for which such regulations apply.
This instruction manual will help familiarize you with the Heavy Weight
660. Please read it carefully. Keep the manual in a safe place so that it can

UPON RECEIVING YOUR HEAVY WEIGHT 660
Carefully inspect the unit to insure that it has not been damaged in shipping.
In the event of any damage, immediately contact the shipping company to
report it.
The Heavy Weight 660 comes with the following:

INSTALLATION
Remove all items from the shipping box.
Place the Heavy Weight 660 on a level, stable surface in the area where it
will be used.
The hydraulic press is delivered ready to use. Simply attach the lever onto
the mechanical pump.
Typical operating range is between 4000 and 7000 Kg. of thrust. Maximum
pressure is 15,000 Kg.
The base of the Heavy Weight 660 contains oil which facilitates the
movement of the piston creating pressure on the flasks. The maximum
piston distance of movement is 2.5 cm. Distance can be regulated by means
of a set screw. (Maximum distance is 25 cm.)
To release pressure simply unscrew the release screw located on the lateral
side of the base.

MAINTENANCE
The Heavy Weight 660 does not require any particular care or attention in
order to maintain it in good operating order.
The coated parts guarantee resistance to corrosive agents and ensure a long,
reliable life.
Periodically, check the oil level. Add more oil if needed. (SAE 10)
WARRANTY
The Heavy Weight 660 is warranted for a full year from date of purchase.
If the serial number label is removed, the warranty becomes null and void.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
The hydraulic press does not maintain pressure.
1. Check the O rings on the mechanical pump and the piston.
2. Check to see if there is any leakage from the faucet.
The pump doesn’t create any pressure.
1. Check to see if the mechanical pump is moving the piston.
2. Check for any clogs in the oil line.
