Introduction
We congratulate you on the purchase of
your new product. You have chosen a
high quality product. The instructions for
use are part of the product. They contain important
information concerning safety, use and disposal.
Before using the product, please familiarise your-
self with all of the safety information and instruc-
tions for use. Only use the product as described
and for the specified applications. If you pass the
product on to anyone else, please ensure that you
also pass on all the documentation with it.
Intended use
This product is only designed for mixing and puree-
ing food (e.g. fruit, vegetables and herbs) and for
crushing ice cubes in standard household quantities.
The product is designed to be used in dry rooms
and for domestic purposes only. Any use other than
that described or any product modification is pro-
hibited and will result in damage. The manufacturer
assumes no liability for damages due to improper
use. This product is not intended for commercial use.

IMPORTANT: Whenever you use the product,
ensure that you do not exceed the continuous oper-
ation time. Otherwise the motor may overheat and
damage the product. Leave the product switched
off until the motor has cooled to room temperature
before you continue using it.

unsupervised with the packaging
material. The packaging material
poses a suffocation hazard. Chil-
dren frequently underestimate the
dangers. Always keep children
away from the product.
This product is not a toy and
should be kept out of the reach
of children. Children cannot rec-
ognise the dangers associated
with the use of the product.
This product must not be used by
children. Keep this product and
its connection cable away from
children.
Do not let children play with the
product.
This product may be used by
persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capacities, or
lacking experience and/ or
knowledge, so long as they are
supervised or instructed regard-
ing the safe use of the product
and understand the associated
risks.
Do not leave the product or
packaging material lying unat-
tended. Plastic film or bags,

expanded polystyrene etc. can
turn into dangerous toys for chil-
dren.
Avoid the risk of fatal
injury from electric
shock
Check the product for damages
before connecting it to the power
supply. Never use the product if
it is damaged in any way.
Immediately unplug the mains
plug from the mains socket if you
hear or smell anything unusual
or if you notice a malfunction.
Ensure the mains cable never
becomes wet or moist during
operation.
Protect the mains cable from
sharp edges, mechanical strain
and hot surfaces.
Only touch the insulated part of
the mains plug when connecting
or disconnecting it from the
mains supply!
Never immerse the motor, the
mains cable or the mains plug in
water or other liquids.
Only use the device in dry
rooms, never outdoors or in
damp environments.
Always disconnect the product
from the mains when it is not
supervised and prior to assembly,
dismantling or cleaning.
Always disconnect the product
from the power supply after use.
The product will continue to draw
a minimal amount of power when
it is switched off but still con-
nected to the electricity supply.
In order to switch the product off
completely, unplug the mains
plug from the mains socket.
Never open any of the electrical
equipment or insert any objects
into this equipment. Such inter-
ferences pose a risk of fatal
injury from electric shock.
If this product’s mains cable is
damaged, it must be replaced
by the manufacturer, its customer
services or a similarly qualified
specialist to ensure dangerous
situations do not arise.
Never use the mains cable as a
carrying handle.
Before use, ensure that the avail-
able mains voltage matches the
operating voltage required by
the product (220–240V∼,
50–60Hz).
The user does not need to take
any steps to set the product to
50 Hz or 60 Hz. The product
automatically sets itself to 50 Hz
or 60 Hz.

Prevent fire and injury
hazards
Do not cover the product with
any objects while it is in use.
Excessive heat can result in fire.
Never leave the product unat-
tended whilst in operation. Ex-
cessive heat can result in fire.
Only connect the product to an
easily accessible socket, so that
it can quickly be disconnected
from the mains in the event of a
fault.
CAUTION! RISK OF IN-
JURY! Never reach into the
blender jug, especially not when
it is in operation. The knife at-
tachment is extremely sharp!
When emptying or cleaning the
blender jug, do not touch the
blade attachment with your bare
hands. Risk of injury!
Do not open the lid when the
product is in operation.
Always ensure that the product
is turned off before you remove
the blender jug from the motor.
Never move the product to a
new location while it is in opera-
tion.
Clean all parts and surfaces that
come into contact with food be-
fore the first use and after each
use of the product (see chapter
“Cleaning and care”).
Danger of damage
to property
Do not use the product in direct
sunlight or near heat-producing
devices.
Never put boiling liquids or very
hot food (max. 70 °C) into the
blender jug! Allow the food and
liquid to cool down before you
put it in the blender jug!
Never operate the product when
empty, i.e. without food in the
blender jug.
Discontinue using the product if
parts are cracked or deformed.
Always replace damaged parts
with genuine spare parts.
FOOD SAFE! This
product has no adverse

Product-specific
instructions for use
To get optimal results when pu-
reeing solid foods, put small por-
tions into the blender jug 4little
by little, rather than filling it with
a large quantity all at once.
Cut solid food into small pieces
or cubes (approx. 2 to 3 cm).
Remove cores, stalks, stems and,
where applicable, peel from fruit
and vegetables.
When mixing liquid ingredients,
start with a small quantity first.
Then add the liquid bit by bit
with the measuring cap 1
through the opening on the lid.
If, for example, solid or viscous
food gets stuck on the knife at-
tachment 5, briefly set the rotary
switch 6to the Pposition
(pulse function) 6a .
To optimally process food that is
to be mixed with a little liquid,
pour the liquid into the blender
jug 4first. Do not use the prod-
uct to grind table salt, refined
sugar or white sugar.
Do not use the product for the
following tasks:
- Beating egg white or whipping
cream,
- Pureeing potatoes,
- Chopping meat,
- Kneading dough,
- Pressing juice
Never fill the product with bones,
large pieces of solid food, frozen
food or tough food.
Never crush large quantities of
ice cubes at the same time. First
put a maximum of 6 ice cubes
(max. 180g) into the blender
jug 4and blend them. Do not
exceed the recommended quan-
tity of ice cubes (max. 6 cubes/
max. 180g). The product can
not fully crush larger quantities
of ice cubes.
Initial use
Note: Remove all packaging materials from the
product.
Note: Before using the product, always make sure
that the mains cable, the mains plug and all the
component parts of the product are not damaged.
Note: The blender jug 4, measuring cap 1,
lid 2and knife attachment 5are preassembled
upon delivery. Before first use, disassemble all
parts of the product and clean them carefully (see
the section “Cleaning and care”).
IMPORTANT: The product can only be put into
operation if the blender jug 4is in place and the
lid 2is tightly closed.
