2. Warnings
The product is only to be used as an auxiliary device. The manufacturer
does not have the absolute responsibility and obligation to guarantee
its full effects.
◼Intended Use: For purpose of aiding the prevention of pressure
ulcers and effective treatment of patients.
◼The air pump only use with the air mattress that manufacturer
provide together.
◼This Air pump for medical equipment used.
◼This Air pump is Continuous Operation.
◼Do not modify this equipment without authorization of the
manufacturer.
◼Users to be considered:
A) Installation personnel –only by manufacturer trained and
authorized technician for both device and mattress
B) Cleaning personnel –by professional healthcare personnel,
general personnel or lay user
C) Maintenance/repair personnel –only by manufacturer trained
and authorize technician
D) Operating personnel –Professional healthcare personnel,
general personnel or lay user which matches the user profile.
◼The equipment is intended for infant or adults by professional
healthcare personnel, general personnel or lay user which
matches the user profile.
◼The patient may also be an intended operator.
◼Please contact the manufacturer and local authorities if any
serious incident has occurred.

◼When getting severe back pain or feeling sick please consult
healthcare profession and stop using this device.
◼If there is any problem in setting up, using, maintaining, or to report
unexpected operation or events, please contact the manufacturer or
local distributor, do not try to repair the defective equipment.
◼Potential allergic reactive may occur due to material sensitivity,
do not lie on the mattress directly with no clothes on.
◼Keep away from children, pests or pests when not using the
equipment.
◼Strangulation may be occurred due to excessive length of the
power cord or the air tube, please place the cord and tubing
where it can be easily disconnected and where unlikely to be in
contact with children or pets.
◼The age of the expected object is 20-60 years old, and the
expected load is defined according to different mattress types,
and the expected maximum is 250Kg.
◼When you need to dispose of your products, please follow the
guidance of your local authority or follow national requirements.
◼This medical device can be used in home use environment and
professional healthcare.
Caution:
Do not open the Air Pump without guidance to prevent danger.
Do not insert items into any opening of the Air Pump.
Do not drop the Air Pump.
Do not use the Air Pump in places exposed to water, liquids, oil,
smoke, and flammable chemicals.
Use fuses as marked: T1A / 250V.
The device doesn’t be used in the presence of flammable
anesthetics mixture with air, oxygen or nitrous oxide environment
(No AP/APG).

Use a power cord that matches the voltage of the power outlet,
which has been approved and complies with the safety standard
of your particular country.
To prevent the risk of electric shock, make sure power cord is
unplugged from wall socket. To fully disengage the power to the
unit, please disconnect the power cord from the AC outlet. The
AC outlet shall be readily available and accessible.
For plug-in equipment, the power outlet socket must be located
near the equipment and must be easily accessible.
The air pump must be placed on the foot end of the nursing bed,
not on the head.
Turn off the power switch on the side panel and unplug the power
cord to ensure complete and safe shutdown of the device.

4. Product Features
Enhanced Design Features of the Air Pump
1. Air PUMP integrated MPU is a “digital total control system” that
has state display.
2. The control panel is of an enclosed panel design in order to
prevent pathogenic bacteria from entering the system and
heighten the risk of cross-contamination in repeated use and from
maintenance personnel.
3. For hanging, the safest iron material is used for hanging hooks and
its withstanding ability is far higher than plastic material.
4. For shock absorption, the deflation Pump inside is equipped with
a specially designed suspension shock absorption system and a
foot mat is provided outside the unit in order to reduce the shock.
5. The compact size feature: The system is of a compact size, making
it easy for placement and storage and taking into account the
streamlined system appearance and practicality.
6. The cotton air filter is to be replaced outside. Therefore, the
replacement can be done without opening the unit.
7. Double external fuse holders allow the unit to provide better
safety protection.
8. The specialized power management with an independent power
cord and a master power switch on the side can better ensure
safety.

6. Installation
Step 1: Connect the air hose at the mattress to the air outlet Quick
Coupling of the Air Pump.
Step 2: Connector the power cord to the AC Inlet of the Air Pump.
Step 3: Plug the power cord of the Air Pump to a socket with power
supply.
Step 4: Turn “ON” the power switch on the side of the Air Pump,
Air starts to enter the hose in a few seconds.
Step 5: Select a setting according to the patient’s comfort
setting or Keep the initial value .
Step 6: See” Air Pump Settings Contents” to select setting for
your need.
Step 7: Please wait until all the air cells are inflated by at least 2/3 of
their volume (approx. 10mmHg) or for 30 minutes before the
user is allowed to lie on the mattress.
Note: Ensure that the patient does not bottom out.
◎Power-off procedure: Turn off the side power switch first, and
then unplug the power plug.

7. Operating Principle
This is an air pump using air compressor to fill up the pressure air
mattress.
It is an air pump delivers air through air outlet to pressure air
mattress by an air compressor which auto detects pressure by control
PCB and stops/re-fills the pressure when deemed necessary.
Description
Use air pump to inflate or deflate the air cells, which can regularly and
automatically change the distribution of body pressure.
8. Air Pump Settings Contents
(Representative Model: TS-6000)
Button Function Area
(1) mmHg Display:Where a dot appears after a reading, this
means that the system to be reset/adjusted. When
there is no dot the reading is a display of the pressure
being supplied to air cells which are being inflated.
(2) Comfort Setting : (Initial setting in” 30mmHg”)
In Alternating Mode: Soft=20mmHg-29mmHg,
Normal=30mm-35mmHg, and Firm=40mmHg-47mmHg.
In Static Mode: Soft=15mmHg-17mmHg,
Normal=20mmHg-22mmHg, and Firm=25mmHg-30mmHg.
Fine Tune: Adjusts pressure setting value up and down.

Cycle Time setting is general fix in 10 min.
When the static mode’s green light is off which mean alternating
mode has been selected.
(for long time seat, it can increase pressure setting value)
(4) Static Mode:
The Static Mode that puts the entire mattress in a static state
without alternation. The air Pump automatically provides a
different static pressure value according to the existing altered
comfort setting. This provides stable and mild internal pressure for
the reduce pressure function. Press the button when necessary.
(for long time seat, it can increase weight setting value)
(5) Auto Firm Mode (Nursing) :
During nursing, it can be difficult to turn a patient and nurse if the
mattress is too soft. This can harden the mattress in the quickest way
for easy nursing. However, after 30 minutes, the unit will forcefully
resume the setting before the button is pressed in order to protect the
patient from the risk of developing pressure ulcers because the
mattress becomes too hard. Press the button when necessary.
(6) Lock/Unlock Button:
The button can lock the existing set status. Press again to unlock.
(Nursing Button cannot be locked with this button.)
(7) Low Pressure Alarm:
The alarm automatically sounds when a low air pressure is detected in
the mattress. The alarm can be muted always by pressing the Mute
button and the LED is blinking. In order to restore the audible function,
you have to reset power switch.
The indicators do not turn on during normal operation. However, when
the orange indicator is on, means that the Low Pressure Alarm occurs.

(8) Power Failure Alarm:
The alarm automatically sounds within 80 seconds when there is a loss
of power during normal operation of the system. The alarm can be
muted always by pressing the Mute button and the LED is blinking.
The indicators do not turn on during normal operation. However, when
the orange indicator is on, means that the Power Failure Alarm Occurs.
LED Indicate Area
(a) Comfort Setting Indicate:
Select the green indicators of mmHg number / Weight or AT ( Auto).
(b) Static Mode Indicate:
The green indicator is on, this means that the Static Mode is activated.
(c) Auto Firm (Nursing) Indicate:
When the green indicator is on, this means that the Nursing Button is
activated. However, after 30 minutes, the unit will forcefully resume
the setting before the button is pressed in order to protect the patient
from the risk of developing pressure ulcers because the mattress
becomes too hard.
(d) Lock/Unlock Indicate:
When the orange indicator is on, this means that the Lock Function is
activated. When it is off, this means the “unlock” state.
(e) Low Pressure Alarm &Power Failure Alarm:
The indicators do not turn on during normal operation. However, when
the orange indicators are on, each means that either the Low Pressure
Alarm or the Power Failure Alarm occurs.
(f) Service Alarm: The indicators do not turn on during normal
operation. However, when the orange indicator is on, means that there
is an abnormal operation and need to be resolved.

9. Routine Maintenance and Cleaning
Air Pump :
1. Thoroughly wipe down the dust or smear stuck on the exterior of the
unit with a dry cloth and the 70%-75% ethanol. It is recommended to
clean the pump once a week.. (Caregivers must wear gloves and masks
and protected with disinfection.)
2. Replacement of the air cotton filter: it is recommended to replace
the filter once a month. (Please purchase the filters from the dealer.)
3. Avoid using the unit when the air is poor. Do not smoke especially to
prevent nicotine and greasy tar-like substance from entering the unit
and resulting in the deterioration of internal pipes and the need for
frequent replacement of the air cotton filter.
Suggestion: An air purifier can also be used to maintain the air quality.
10. Storage
How to store the Air Pump
1. It is necessary to turn off the power switch in side panel, unplug the
power cord.
2. Disconnect the Air Pump and the power cord; disconnect the Air
Pump and the hose at the feet end of the mattress.
3. Put the Air Pump and the power cord in the box and place in a dry
place.
4. When the Air Pump is put away and not in constant use, it is better
to switch it on for at regular intervals to lengthen its life.
5. Follow the national requirement to dispose the Air Pump.

11. Troubleshooting

customer or the user of the model TS-6000 can help prevent
