Weighing Your First Item
1. Press the POWER/TARE key to turn the scale on.
2. Place the item on the center of
the weighing platform.
3. Take your reading from the
display. You can press the
UNIT key to convert between
weighing units:
g, ml ( water / milk ),
lb:oz, .oz ( water / milk )
4. The default Auto-O setting
will turn the scale o after 5
minutes of inactivity or you can hold the POWER/
TARE key to manually turn the scale o.

Tare Function
The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a
container so that the display only shows the weight of the
contents.
UNIT
SET
NOTE: The weight of the container will subtract from
the available capacity and will leave a negative value
on the display once the weight is removed. Press
POWER/TARE again to return the display to zero.
Counting Function
The counting function is used to accurately count items of
uniform weight such as beads or screws.
1. Press the UNIT key to change to “pcs” mode.
2. Press the SET key. The display will show “cnt”.
3. Press SET again. The display will show “Pc.25”.
4. Use the UP/DOWN keys to select between: 25, 50, 75
or 100 pcs then press SET to conrm.
5. Place a sample quantity of your items on the platform
matching the count you selected above.
6. Press the SET key to conrm the sample qty and set
the average piece weight (APW) in memory.
7. You may now place any quantity on the scale and
view the piece count. (‘pcs’ will show on the display)

Checkweighing Backlight
The checkweighing feature allows you to quickly check if an
item is within a set weight range using the programmable
backlight.

To change the HI/LO values or disable the backlight:
1. Press the SET key. The display will show “bl”.
2. Press the SET key. The display will show “bl-On”, for
“backlight on”.
3. You can use the UP/DOWN keys to toggle the
backlight ON or OFF. (Checkweighing requires bl-ON)
4. Press SET to conrm.
5. If backlight is set to ON, the scale will display “Lo”.
6. Press the SET key. The display will show the current
“Lo” or low value (default: 100.0g).
7. Use the UP/DOWN keys to change the low value.
8. Press SET to conrm. The display will show “HI”.
9. Press the SET key. The display will show the current
“HI” or high value (default: 1000g).
10. Use the UP/DOWN keys to change the high value.
11. Press the SET key to conrm. The scale is now ready
for checkweighing.

Accuracy
Your scale comes calibrated from the factory and most
users won’t need to calibrate their scale for a long time.
You should check your scale’s accuracy periodically using
calibration weights and perform calibration if necessary.
NOTE: Only use trusted calibration weights.
Household items such as bottles and cans with
weights printed on the side are not suitable for
checking accuracy as these values are approximate
and don’t include the container weight (Net Weight).
Calibration
Calibration adjustment is permanent and should
only be performed using accurate calibration
weights that match the requirements for your
scale (see the chart on back). Do not use coins or
other household items to calibrate.
1. Prepare the required weight for your scale. (5000g)
2. Find a at and level surface to perform calibration
and let the scale adjust to room temperature.
3. Press POWER/TARE to turn the scale on and wait for
the scale to stabilize.
4. Press and hold the SET key until the display shows
‘CAL’.
5. Make sure nothing is on the platform then press SET
to conrm the zero point.
6. The display will then ash the required calibration
weight. (5000g)
7. Place the required calibration weight on the center

of the platform.
8. The display will show
‘PASS’ then return to
normal weighing mode.
Auto-Off Timer
The default Auto-O setting will turn the scale o after
5 minutes of inactivity. To adjust the Auto-O Timer:
1. Press the SET key. The display will show “bl”.
2. Press the UP key. The display will show “APo”.
3. Press the SET key. The display will show “APo-0”.
4. Use the UP/DOWN keys to select between
0/5/10/20/30/40/50/60/90 minutes.
(0=Auto O disabled).
5. Press the SET key to conrm your selection and
return to normal weighing mode.
6. If there is no input for 60 seconds, the scale will
return to normal weighing mode automatically.
