Installation

Weighing Your First Item
1. Press the ON/OFF key to turn the scale on.
2. Using the weighing hook, suspend the item you
want to weigh.
3. Read the weight from the display.
4. Press the SET key to change the displayed weighing
unit if desired.
Hold Function
The Hold function allows you to lock the weight on the
display for convenience. Pressing the HOLD key toggles
the scale between 3 dierent Hold settings:
1. “L-n” - No Hold: The display will not lock the weight
and will remain on until powered o manually.
2. “L-A” - Auto Hold: The display will lock the weight
on the display once stabilized. *default setting
3. “L-P” - Peak Hold: The display will lock the highest
weight on the display. This is useful for force
measurement applications such as obtaining the
draw weight of a bow for archery.

Installation

Tare Function
The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of
weighing sling or other lifting equipment so that the
display only shows the weight of the load. (net weight)
NOTE: The weight of the added lifting equipment or
container will subtract from the available capacity
and will leave a negative value on the display once
the weight is removed. Press TARE again to return
the display to zero.
Accuracy
Your scale comes calibrated from the factory and most
users wont need to calibrate their scale for a long time.
You should check your scale’s accuracy periodically using
calibration weights and perform calibration if necessary.
NOTE: Only use trusted calibration weights.
Household items such as bottles and cans with
weights printed on the side are not suitable for
checking accuracy as these values are approximate
and don’t include the container weight (Net Weight).

Calibration
Calibration adjustment is permanent and should
only be performed using accurate calibration
weights that match the requirements for
your scale (see the chart on back). Do not use
arbitrary household items to calibrate.
1. Prepare a specialized 40kg suspension weight (sold
separate)
2. Hang the scale from a sturdy point that can
support at least 50kg. A hoist is recommended.
3. From OFF, press and hold the SET and ON/OFF
keys at the same time.
4. Release the keys once the
internal statement number (ISN)
is displayed.
5. Make sure there is no load on
the hook then press ON/OFF to
conrm the zero point.
6. The display will then ash
‘40.00kg’ on the display.
7. Place a 40kg suspension weight
on the end of the weighing hook.
8. Press ON/OFF once the weight
has stabilized to conrm
calibration.
9. The display will show ‘PASS’ then
return to weighing mode.
