Sellerwarrantsthe goods, excludingsoftware, sold hereunder, undernormal use
and service as described in the operator'smanual, to be free from defectsin
workmanship and material for 120days, or if less, the length of time specified inthe
operator'smanual, fromthe dateof shipment to thecustomer.Thiswarrantyperiod is
inclusive of any statutory warranty.Thislimited warrantyissubject to the following
exclusionsand exceptions:
a. Hot-wire or hot-filmsensorsused with research anemometers, and certain other
componentswhen indicated in specifications, are warranted for90 daysfrom the
date of shipment;
b. Pumps are warranted for hours of operation as set forth in product or operator’s
manuals;
c. Parts repaired orreplaced asa result of repairservicesare warranted to be free
from defectsin workmanship and material,undernormal use, for90 daysfrom the
date of shipment;
d. Sellerdoesnot provideany warranty on finishedgoodsmanufacturedby othersor
on anyfuses, batteriesorotherconsumable materials. Onlythe original
manufacturer'swarrantyapplies;
e. Thiswarranty doesnot covercalibration requirements, and seller warrantsonly
that the instrument orproduct isproperly calibrated at thetimeof itsmanufacture.
Instrumentsreturned forcalibrationare not coveredby thiswarranty;
f. Thiswarranty is VOIDif the instrument isopenedby anyoneotherthan a
factory authorizedservice centerwith the oneexception where requirements
set forth in the manualallowan operatorto replaceconsumablesorperform
recommended cleaning;
g. Thiswarranty is VOIDif the product hasbeen misused, neglected,subjected
to accidental orintentionaldamage, orisnot properly installed,maintained, or
cleaned accordingto the requirementsofthe manual. Unlessspecifically
authorized ina separate writing by Seller,Sellermakesno warranty with
respect to, and shall have no liability inconnectionwith, goodswhich are
incorporated intootherproductsorequipment, orwhich are modified by any
person otherthan Seller.
h. ThiswarrantyisVOIDif theproductisused in environmentsotherthan indoors.
The foregoing isIN LIEU OF all otherwarrantiesand issubject to the LIMITATIONS
stated herein. NO OTHER EXPRESS ORIMPLIEDWARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR

Product Overview
TSI®Incorporated’s AirAssure™ IndoorAirQuality Monitoris a
real-time Particulate Matter(PM) and Gas monitor designed to
provide accurate gas and mass concentrationsas well as
temperature, humidity,and barometricpressure measurements. The
monitoris designed to bedeployed in lessthan ten minutes and is
intendedforindoor airquality monitoringonly.
Data from the sensoris available at www.tsi.com/tsilink.
All you need is aninternet connection andweb browser. The
AirAssure™ IAQ monitor connectsto the internet using 2.4GHz
Wi-Fi®to uploaddata. Clouddata canbe viewed ina web browser.
There is noneedto install anapponyoursmartphone. Logged data
is also available on the internal mircoSD card accessible from the
bottom ofthedevice.
The AirAssure™ IAQ monitor comes with a PMsensor factory
calibration, whose standardsadhere to thesame standardsthatare
appliedto otherhigh-quality TSI®monitors like the DustTrak™and
AM520 models. The AirAssure™ IAQ monitorsalso come withself-
diagnostics to enable you to run the monitor with greater than 95%
run-time.

Setting Up
The AirAssure™Indoor Air Quality Monitor is delivered fully
assembled and ready to bemounted on an interiorwall. Start by
unpacking the device and its contents from the shipping package.
The monitoris intended to beconnected tolocal 2.4GHzWi-Fi®to
access all cloud features,but it can beusedwithout Wi-Fi®ifneeded
as all data is recordedto a pre-installed microSDmemory card
accessible from the bottomofthe case nexttothe USB-C port.
A quick start guide isshipped witheach instrument. It provides the
necessary stepsto configure theWi-Fi®settings forconnectingthe
device to alocal Wi-Fi®networkandwill also guide youthrough
installation. AdigitalcopyoftheQuick StartGuide can also befound
at www.tsi.com/tsilink.
NOTE
As long as asuitable microSDcard is installed, the AirAssure™
IAQ monitorwill store data onthecard whetherornot theunit is
connectedto Wi-Fi®. TSI®is not liableforcorrupt data onthe
memory card.
NOTE
If Wi-Fi®is connected andthenlost, the AirAssure™ IAQ monitor
cannot readdata from the microSD cardand uploadthedatato the
cloud when Wi-Fi®is available. However, as long as poweris
uninterrupted, an internal databuffer will store approximately
7 days ofdata(loggedat 15min. intervals), whichwill thenbe
uploadedtothecloudonceinternet has been restored. Data older
thanthat will be available only onthe microSDcard. Currently,
customers cannot manuallyupload microSD card datato theTSI®
Cloud. Youwill benotifiedon thecloud data ifthe AirAssure™ IAQ
monitorhas trouble writingtothe microSD card.

The monitordoes not have thecapability to connecttopublic
Wi-Fi®networks that require a secondstep ofbrowser
authentication,such as afree public hotel orairport network.
A different network will needtobechosen.

Connecting the AirAssure™ IAQ Monitor to a
Wi-Fi®Network
For best results, set upthedevice beforemountingit in a permanent
location. However, ensure youhave good Wi-Fi®strength in thefinal
location. Ifaccessto Wi-Fi® is not available, datawill alwaysbe
storedontheincluded microSDmemorycard.
The AirAssure™ Indoor Air Quality Monitor can be powered by aUSB
wall plugpower supply and USB-Ccable orby 24 Volts ACvia a
connectorontheback ofthedevice. A screwterminal connectoris
provided towire the24Volts ACto thebackofthe AirAssure™IAQ
unit. If using 24VAC, it is best to set uptheWi-Fi®with thewall plug
before mountingand connectingto24 VACtoverify everythingis set
upproperly.

It can be mounted usingscrewsorusing double-sidedtape (included).
1. Remove thepower supply, plugadapterkit,and USB-Ccable
from its packaging. Select your region’s plug connector and mate
it to the power supply by “snapping” the plug connector into
the adapter.
2. Connect theotherendoftheUSB cableto theUSB-Cport onthe
bottom ofthemonitor.
3. Connect theUSB-A cable endintothepower supply and then
plug-inthepower adapterto a nearby power outlet.

4. The monitorshould turn onas indicatedbythe light baron the
front. To connect themonitorto theinternet,you firsthaveto
connect to the monitor’s hot spot.
5. Pulse yellowindicatesthat themonitoris in setupmodeas a
Wi-Fi®hotspot.It will remaininthismodefor60seconds. Ifyou
needmore time, simplyunplugandplugthemonitor back
inagain.

manually by searchingforWi-Fi®networks andconnectingto the
one listedas “AirAssure IAQ 8144XXX…”
