The implement may fall abruptly,

When servicing the implement
while it is attached to the tractor,
secure the hydraulic pressure us-
ing the hydraulic lock (refer to Us-
ing Hydraulic Lock on page B-26)
and stop the engine in advance.

2. DURING MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Before refueling, adding oil, or

hot.

After refueling, tighten the fuel
cap thoroughly and remove any
spilled fuel.

Make sure to check each safe-
ty lamp, such as the turn signal
lamps, for proper operation before
operating the machine.
You can't signal other workers or
machines around properly, leading
to an accident.
If the fuel system and hydrau-
lic system are not set properly ac-
cording to the specifications, they
can affect the tractor's perfor-
mance and safety negatively.
Have the fuel system (fuel injection
pump, fuel injection nozzle), hy-
draulic valve and hydraulic pump
inspected by your workshop.

Check for any leakage due to the
damage on the fuel tank and hose
If there is any leak, replace it im-
mediately.
Replace the fuel hose every 2

Do not allow the battery fluid to
contact your skin and clothing.
In case your skin, clothing are
in contact with the battery fluid,
rinse it immediately with a large
amount of water. If you drank the

If the fluid was in contact with
your eye or if you swallowed the
uid,getmedicalattention.
When disconnecting the battery,
disconnect the negative (-) battery
cablerst.
When connecting the battery , con-
nect the positive (+) battery cable
rst.
When replacing the battery, use
only the prescribed authentic
battery.
Do not mix the positive and neg-
ative battery cables.
See if the electric wirings are in
contact with other parts or peeled.
Also check electric connectors to
see if they are loose and there is a
play.
Before removing the electric
components, disconnect the
negative(-)batterycablerst.

Maintain the tire pressure pre-
scribed in the user’s manual.
Do not inflate the tire with too
much air.

Replace the tire before the center
lug of the tire is completely worn.
■
For replacing or repairing a tire,
tube or rim, contact your deal-
er (It is stipulated that only the
trained personnel can carry out
the replacing or repairing work.)
Before any operation, check for
any foreign materials caught on the
engine, muffler, battery, and the
fuel tank. Remove them immedi-
ately.
Check and adjust the brake.
Check if the steering wheel’s play
is correct.
Check if the both right and left
brake are working property and
also if the plays on both right
and left brake are the same.
If you inflate a tire with too much
air, the tire can burst and may be
the ground for an accident.

The tools required for maintenance
and repair should be kept in the
best quality and used accordingly.
The tools required for mainte-
nance should be kept handy.
Covers that are removed during the
maintenance work should be rein-
stalled to their original positions.
Replace fuse with the one with rec-
ommended capacity.
Do not replace with substitutes
such as iron rod or foil. Also nev-
er use a fuse with over capacity.

Before checking or repairing the
hydraulic system, stop the engine.
When removing hydraulic parts,
make sure to depressurize the
system before service or inspec-
tion.
If hydraulic oil under pressure
spurts and gets on your skin, skin
damage can occur.
Do not open the cap when the en-
gine is hot. Otherwise, hot steam
can burn you seriously.
Never open the radiator cap while
the radiator is hot.
Make sure to open the radiator
cap after the engine is stopped
and cooled down.
Improper service can lead to an in-
jury.
As A/C refrigerant is under high
pressure, only qualified service
technician should handle it.

The tractor may move abruptly

Never try to start the engine by
connecting the start motor terminal
or safety switch directly.

closed space, ventilate the area by
opening doors or windows.
Do not operate or warm up
(idling) the machine in a poorly
ventilated area.
Make sure that no one is around
the machine before starting the en-
gine. And do not let any person
such as a child get close to the ma-
chine.
In particular, when driving back-
ward, signal to bystanders nearby
by sounding the horn.
Exhaust fumes are poisonous
enough to make you feel dizzy
even to cause brain damage due
to the oxygen deprivation.
If anyone including children get
near the machine, it can cause an
accident.

The tractor should not be driven
on the highway or driveway. Yield
to other vehicles on a public road.
Have the license plate attached
to the tractor and follow any ap-
plicable traffic laws, safety pre-
cautionsandtrafcmanners.
Make sure to turn off the work
lamps when driving at night.
It can lead to a collision with an-
other vehicle.
You can obstruct other drivers'
driving, resulting in a possible
accident.

Never drive the tractor with the dif-
ferential lock engaged.
If the vehicle cannot be driven on
the roads suddenly due to various
reasons, including mechanical fail-
ure, move the machine out of the
road and take necessary actions

least 100 mm behind the vehicle in
the daytime and at least 200 mm
behind the vehicle at nighttime.
