UNPACKING
When unpacking, check to make sure that
the item is intact and undamaged. If any parts are
missing or broken, please call Harbor Freight Tools
at the number shown on the cover of this document
as soon as possible.
IMPORTANT SAFETY

OPEN HOT OR WARM RADIATOR CAP.
Loosen the vehicle’s radiator cap slowly to2.
relieve any excess pressure before removing
the cap completely.
Keep away from hot engine parts and uids.3.
Use this product only according to these in-4.
structions. Improper use can create hazards.
Wear ANSI-approved safety goggles and5.
heat resistant work gloves during product as-
sembly and use.
Refer to the vehicle’s service manual for6.
specic radiator pressure testing instructions
before use.
Clean up coolant spills immediately. Dispose7.
of uids according to local, state, and federal
codes and regulations.
Keep work area clean and well lit.8.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and9.
balance at all times. This enables better con-
trol of the product in unexpected situations.
Keep bystanders out of the area during as-10.
sembly and use.
Do not assemble or operate when tired or11.
when under the inuence of drugs or medica-
tion.
This product is not a toy. Do not allow chil-12.
dren to play with or near this product.
Use as intended only.13.
Inspect before every use. Do not use if parts14.
missing or damaged.
Maintain product labels and nameplates.15.

LIMITED 90 DAY WARRANTY
Harbor Freight Tools Co. makes every effort to assure that its products meet high quality and dura-
bility standards, and warrants to the original purchaser that this product is free from defects in materials
and workmanship for the period of 90 days from the date of purchase. This warranty does not apply to
damage due directly or indirectly, to misuse, abuse, negligence or accidents, repairs or alterations outside
our facilities, criminal activity, improper installation, normal wear and tear, or to lack of maintenance. We
shall in no event be liable for death, injuries to persons or property, or for incidental, contingent, special
or consequential damages arising from the use of our product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation of exclusion may not apply to
you. THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IM-
PLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS.
To take advantage of this warranty, the product or part must be returned to us with transportation
charges prepaid. Proof of purchase date and an explanation of the complaint must accompany the mer-
chandise. If our inspection veries the defect, we will either repair or replace the product at our election
or we may elect to refund the purchase price if we cannot readily and quickly provide you with a replace-
ment. We will return repaired products at our expense, but if we determine there is no defect, or that the
defect resulted from causes not within the scope of our warranty, then you must bear the cost of returning
the product.
This warranty gives you specic legal rights and you may also have other rights which vary from
state to state.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Read the ENTIRE IMPORTANT
SAFETY INFORMATION section at the
beginning of this document including
all text under subheadings therein
before set up or use of this product.
Refer to the vehicle’s service manual for spe-1.
cic radiator pressure testing instructions.
Loosen the vehicle’s radiator cap slowly to2.
relieve any excess pressure before removing
the cap completely. Use gloves and a damp
cloth if the cap is hot.
Select the Proper Adapter and conguration 3.
of the Stationary Seat accessories. Securely
attach the adapter to the ller neck of the
radiator or expansion tank.
Attach the Quick Connector of the Hand4.
Pump onto the Adapter.
Rapidly pump the Hand Pump Handle while5.
watching the pressure gauge. Pressurize the
radiator up to the optimal pressure only - Do
not overpressurize the radiator. Ideal read-
ings should range between 12 and 15 PSI. If
the pressure level is below the range, a leak
in the radiator or hose is the source of the
problem.
Once the test is complete, release the air6.
pressure by pressing the Pressure Release
Valve on the Hand Pump. Then disconnect
the Quick Coupler and Adapter assembly.
Make sure to store the Radiator Pressure7.
Tester Kit in its Carrying Case and keep the
Kit in a clean, dry, safe location out of reach
of children and other unauthorized persons.
