When unpacking, check to make
sure that the item is intact and undam-
aged. If any parts are missing or broken,
please call Harbor Freight Tools at the

as soon as possible.

Tool Set up
TO PREVENT

Choose which attachment is best suited
for the task and attach it to the brass tube
on the end of the Handle. Possible con-
gurations are:
Thread either one of the Needle•
Probes into the socket of the
handle. Remove the protective cap
from the pointed end of the Probe.
Thread the Long Needle Probe into•
the socket of the handle. Remove
the protective cap from the pointed
end of the Probe and insert the
Probe into the socket of the Alliga-
tor Clamp with the Rubber Sleeve.
Push it in until it is secure.
Attach the Adaptor to the socket of•
the handle by pushing it all the way
in. Attach the Alligator Clamp with
the Plastic Frame to the Adaptor.
General Operating Instruction
Do not test voltage on DC circuits
higher than 48 volts.
Attach the Negative Charge Clip to a1.
good ground.

Touch the Probe or attach the Alligator2.
Clamp on the handle to the positive
end of the component you are testing.
The LCD will light up, then the volt-•
age level will display on the LCD.
Read the voltage on the LCD display3.
on the Handle.
If the voltage is lower than 3 volts,•
the LCD will light up but no reading
will display.

CLEANING, MAINTENANCE,
AND LUBRICATION
BEFORE EACH USE,1. inspect the
general condition of the Voltmeter.
Check for cracked or broken parts,
damaged electrical wiring, and any
other condition that may affect its safe
operation.
AFTER USE,2. clean external surfaces
of the tool with clean cloth.

maintenance. We shall in no event be liable for death, injuries to persons or property,
or for incidental, contingent, special or consequential damages arising from the use of
our product. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or con-
sequential damages, so the above limitation of exclusion may not apply to you. THIS
WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR
IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS.
To take advantage of this warranty, the product or part must be returned to us
with transportation charges prepaid. Proof of purchase date and an explanation of the
complaint must accompany the merchandise. If our inspection veries the defect, we
will either repair or replace the product at our election or we may elect to refund the
purchase price if we cannot readily and quickly provide you with a replacement. We will
return repaired products at our expense, but if we determine there is no defect, or that
the defect resulted from causes not within the scope of our warranty, then you must
bear the cost of returning the product.
This warranty gives you specic legal rights and you may also have other rights
which vary from state to state.
