Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the Ubiquiti Networks™
NanoBridge™. This Quick Start Guide is designed to guide
you through the installation and show you how to access
the airOS™Configuration Interface. This Quick Start Guide
also includes the warranty terms and is for use with the
NanoBridge, models NBM3, NBM365, and NBM900.

TERMS OF USE: Ubiquiti radio devices must be professionally installed. Shielded Ethernet
cable and earth grounding must be used as conditions of product warranty. TOUGHCable is
designed for outdoor installations. It is the customer’s responsibility to follow local country
regulations, including operation within legal frequency channels, output power, and Dynamic
Frequency Selection (DFS) requirements.

Hardware Overview
NBM3/NBM365 Ports
Secondary Main
Reset
Secondary Port This 10/100 Ethernet port is used for
bridging.
Main Port This 10/100 Ethernet port is used to connect the
power and should be connected to the LAN and DHCP server.
Reset Button To reset to factory defaults, press and hold the
Reset button for more than 10 seconds while the NanoBridge is
already poweredon.

NBM900 Ports
RP-SMA LAN Reset
RP-SMA Connector Reserved for future use.
LAN Port The 10/100 Ethernet port is used to connect the
power and should be connected to the LAN and DHCP server.
Reset Button To reset to factory defaults, press and hold the
Reset button for more than 10 seconds while the NanoBridge is
already poweredon.

NBM3/NBM365 LEDs
LAN2LAN1
Power The Power LED will light green when
the device is connected to a power source.
LAN1 Main The LAN1 Ethernet LED will light steady
green when an active Ethernet connection is
made to the Main Port and flash when there
is activity.
LAN2 Secondary The LAN2 Ethernet LED will
light steady green when an active Ethernet
connection is made to the Secondary Port and
flash when there isactivity.
Signal In airOS, you can modify the wireless
signal strength threshold values for each
LED on the Advanced tab under Signal LED
Thresholds. The default values are shown below:
LED will light red when the wireless
signal strength is above -94 dBm.
LED will light amber when the wireless
signal strength is above -80 dBm.
LED will light green when the wireless
signal strength is above -73 dBm.
LED will light green when the wireless
signal strength is above -65 dBm.

NBM900 LEDs
Power The Power LED will light green when
the device is connected to a power source.
Ethernet The Ethernet LED will light steady
green when an active Ethernet connection is
made and flash when there is activity.
Signal In airOS, you can modify the wireless

Installation Requirements
• 10 mm wrench
• 13 mm wrench
• Shielded Category 5 (or above) cabling should be used for
all wired Ethernet connections and should be grounded
through the AC ground of the PoE.
We recommend that you protect your networks from the
most brutal environments and devastating ESD attacks
with industrial-grade shielded Ethernet cable from Ubiquiti

Using the Correct Feed Support Tube
The NanoBridgeM3/M365 and NanoBridgeM900 require
different Feed Support Tubes, which are not interchangeable.
Ensure that you are using the correct Feed Support Tube for
your NanoBridge model before you begin installation.

Installation
The installation instructions show the NBM900; however, the
same instructions apply to the NBM3 and NBM365.
1. Attach the Feed Support Tube to the Dish Bracket using the
M8x50 Carriage Bolt, M8 Serrated Flange Nut, M6x15 Carriage
Bolt, and M6 Serrated Flange Nut.

2. Attach the Dish Bracket to the Dish Reflector using the four
M6x12 Carriage Bolts and four M6 Flange Nuts.

3. Attach the Mounting Bracket to the Dish Bracket using the
four M8x15 Carriage Bolts and four M8 Flange Nuts.

4. Install the NanoBridge by lining up the mounting tabs of
the NanoBridge with the slots on the Feed Support Tube.
Then slide the NanoBridge into place.
