Thank you for purchasing the UCLEAR Commander Bluetooth headset.
The UCLEAR Commander is a Bluetooth headset designed exclusively
for car drivers over the world. It unites the UCLEAR’s own “One-Touch-
Dail” Bluetooth voice speed dial and quick-connect features to allow
hands-free dialling with accuracy up to 99.5%. With the UCLEAR
Commander, you will be able to stay connected while focussing on
the conditions on the road and driving with both hands unhindered.

Introduction to your UCLEAR Commander
Multi-function button:

• To charge the UCLEAR Commander, use the charging cable provided
to connect to your computer USB port or the 12 volts USB car charger.
• When the UCLEAR Commander is charging, the LED light will glow red.
• When the UCLEAR Commander has finished charging, the LED light will
glow blue.

• The UCLEAR Commander’s LED light will blink red when the battery is
low.

• Position and fasten the in-car visor bracket onto the visor.
• Install the headset onto the in-car visor bracket.
• Adjust the positioning of the headset and the in-car visor bracket.

* Remarks: You can choose whether to install the in-car visor bracket
and in-car multi-function charging cradle as per your preference.

• Identify a position to adhere the charging cradle
• Peel off the double sided tape protective film.
• Carefully place the charging cradle onto the identified position.
• Apply slight pressure onto the charging cradle to ensure that the
charging cradle is firmly secured.
• The headset will power on automatically when it is removed from
the visor bracket or charging cradle.
• Press and hold the multifunction button for 2 seconds to power on
the headset if it is not in the visor bracket or charging cradle.

• The headset will automatically power off when returned to the visor
bracket or charging cradle.
• Press and hold the multi-function button for 5 seconds to power it off.
Please pair the UCLEAR Commander Bluetooth headset with your mobile
phone first in order to use the headset. The headset will automatically
connect to your phone each time after they have been paired.
• Press and hold the multi-function button for 2 seconds to power on the
headset, then press and hold the “+” and “-” button for 5 seconds in
order to enter pairing mode. The LED light will blink red and blue to
indicate that you have successfully entered into pairing mode.
• Enable Bluetooth on your mobile phone and search for Bluetooth
devices. Select “UCLEAR Commander” from the list of devices.
• If your mobile phone prompts you to enter a password, use “0000”.
Most mobile phones will automatically connect to the phone and music
features after pairing is complete.
After pairing your UCLEAR Commander Bluetooth headset to your mobile
phone, you may now use the headset to answer incoming calls or make
outgoing calls or listen to music.

Using “One-Touch-Dial” voice speed dial
With UCLEAR’s own “One-Touch-Dial” Bluetooth voice speed dial function,
users can make calls with their own voice by pressing the multi-function
button. Accuracy can be up to 99.5%. Users can be able to stay
connected while focussing on the conditions on the road and driving
with both hands unhindered.
• Download UCLEAR Commander’s APP from Google Play and install it
into your mobile phone.
• After installation of the APP, its icon will appear on your mobile
phone’s Homepage.
• Activate the UCLEAR Commander APP on your mobile phone.
• Click the “Settings” button and enter the “Contacts” interface, select
the contact number and tap “Record voice tag” from the menu.
After you hear the beep tone, say the contact’s name to create the
voice tags and repeat to do so for other contact numbers.

Remarks: The Commander Bluetooth headset must be linked with the
mobile phone before using the UCLEAR Commander APP.
Answering incoming calls
• End a call on the mobile phone.
• Press the multi-function button to end a call.
iOS
• Removing the headset from the visor bracket or the charging
cradle will automatically answer an incoming call.
• When the headset is not in the visor bracket or charging cradle:
If the headset is powered off, press and hold the multi-function
button for two sections to answer the call. If the headset is powered
on, click the multi-function button to answer the call.

• Press multi-function button on your UCLEAR Commander Bluetooth
headset, and the UCLEAR Commander APP will be automatically
activated. After you hear the beep tone, call the contact name
you wish to call as per the corresponding recorded voice tag, then
your call will be initiated.
Press the multi-function button on your UCLEAR Commander Bluetooth
headset, and it will automatically activate the built-in “voice
recognition APP” or “Siri” in iPhone. Call the name of a contact in your
contact book that you wish to call (e.g. David) and your call will
be initiated.

• Press the “+” button.
• Press the “-“ button.
• Press and hold the “+” button for 2 seconds.
• Press and hold the “-” button for 2 seconds.

• When you are on a call and receive another incoming call, press
the multi-function button to put the first call on hold and answer the
new call. Press the multifunction button again to switch between the
two calls.
• To end an active call while another is still on hold, quickly press the
multi-function button twice.
• If your mobile phone supports A2DP/AVRCP Bluetooth Profile, you
can play music directly to the headset and control the mobile
phone from the UCLEAR Commander Bluetooth headset.
• To start playing music, please activate the music player in your
mobile phone and start playing music. To stop playing the music,
please select “pause” in your mobile phone.

Pairing with two mobile phones simultaneously
1. Press and hold the multi-function button for 2 seconds to power on the
headset, then press and hold the “+” and “-“ buttons for 5 seconds in
order to enter pairing mode. The LED light will blink red and blue to
indicate that you have successfully entered into pairing mode.
2. Enable Bluetooth on your mobile phones and search for Bluetooth
devices. Select “UCLEAR Commander” from the list of devices.
3. If your mobile phone prompts you to enter a password, use “0000”.
4. After the pairing is successful, disable Bluetooth on your mobile phone
and press and hold the multi-function button for 5 seconds to power
off the headset.
5. Repeat steps 1-3 with your second mobile phone to pair it with the
headset.
6. Enable Bluetooth on your first phone and re-connect to the headset.
You can now connect the Commander headset with both mobile
phones.
• Press the “-” button.
• Press the “+” button.
