Install Recommendations: Exterior Termination Vent Kit
(
•Insulate Ductwork from the UltimateAir Ventilation
Unit through the outside wall of the building to avoid
condensation from forming on the ductwork (R-4.2 to
R-7 is recommended).
•Vents come with built-in screen mesh to prevent debris
from entering the ductwork. Check the screen for
blockage every three months.
•The Damper may be placed in line between the
Termination Vent and the Ventilation Equipment. This Damper is made to
keep air from naturally blowing into the building when the Equipment is
turned Off. The Damper is directional and MUST be installed with the correct
side UP. See orientation marked on the Damper
•Vents should be located at least 6
feet apart to minimize re-circulation

from sources of bad air such as garages, dryer exhaust, and furnace vents.

against rain and air leakage.
