Electronic Speed Sensor: Unlike an ordinary mixer grinder, the Duramix 750J operates at a
slightly slower speed band. The Electronic speed sensor ensures grinding at the right speed,
not too high or too low, for the right texture, taste and consistency.

• After unpacking the mixer grinder, wash the jars, lids and blades with mild detergent
and then dry it thoroughly.
•Ensure that the metal body does not come in contact with any other items in the kitchen to
avoid scratches, peel off, paint wear off and fading.
• Ensure that the lid is locked on the jar and the jar is locked on the metal body before
using the mixer grinder.
• Before switching on the unit, ensure the knob is in OFF position.
• As the blades are sharp, handle them with care to avoid injury.
• Ensure the power is switched OFF and coupler is not rotating, before fixing or removing
the jar assembly from the metal body.
• After grinding, use liquid soap to rinse the jar well and store it dry.
• After grinding, lid and lid lock area should be washed, cleaned and dried to avoid
settlement of food particles.
• To clean the gasket, remove the gasket from the lid and wash well under tap water.
• Keep the appliance away from sources of heat like gas stove.
• Keep the appliance out of reach of children and do not allow children to operate.
• When operating the mixer grinder for the first time after long storage, or when the
appliance has been shifted over a long distance, spin the motorshaft and jar spindle by
hand through the coupler until the shaft and spindle rotates freely.
• In the event of power failure, ensure the knob is in OFF position.
• Plug the power cord to a 230V, 50 Hz supply only.
• In the unlikely event of operational problems, please contact Ultra Customer Care.
CLEANING THE SURFACE OF THE METAL BODY
Use only a soft & damp sponge or soft cloth dipped in mild liquid detergent to wipe
off the surface of the metal body and then clean with dry cloth.

DON’Ts

• Do not place mixer grinder on an uneven surface.
• Do not place the metal body in water.
• Do not leave the jars in water after cleaning.
• Do not operate with damaged plug or cord.
• Do not run the mixer grinder without jar/without material in the jar.
• Do not run the mixer grinder without ensuring that the lid is locked.
• Do not grind ingredients which are very hot.
• Do not touch the moving parts while operating the mixer grinder.
• Do not overload the mixer grinder jars with excess ingredients.
• Do not add any materials while the motor is in operation.
• Do not move the appliance during operation.
• Do not use attachements from other mixer grinders.
• Do not run mixer grinder if operating conditions are not normal.
• Do not tamper or attempt to repair mixer grinder on your own.
• Do not use the mini cup in any other jars except the small jar.
• Do not use slo-juicing function and electronic speed knob together.
Do not use scrubber pad or steel scrubber or any other abrasive
material and strong chemicals or acids to clean the surface
of the metal body.

Using the Mini Cup
• Add ingredients to the small jar.
• 50ml is the minimum and the 200ml is the maximum
quantity to be used for grinding.
• Place the mini cup upside down inside the jar.
• Close the small jar lid.
• Mini cup should be used only along with the small jar.
Grind and Store
• After grinding, tilt the small jar till ingredients are
collected in the mini cup.
• Use the mini cup lid to close and store the
ground material.
Lid Locking (for stainless steel jars)
• Hook the nose of the lid with the nose of the jar.
• Locate the lid lock/unlock slider button near the open
arrow symbol on the lid.
• Use your thumb to push the slider forward and
backward to lock the lid with the jar.
Fixing the Lid Gasket (for stainless steel jars)
• Identify the projection in the gasket.
• The projected section of the gasket should be inserted
into the cavity on the nose of the lid.
• Then ensure that the gasket is properly seated around the
walls under the lid.
• The gasket fitted in any other way will result in improper
closing of the lid and lead to leakage.

Lid Unlocking
• Hold the jar handle with your palm.
.• Locate the lid lock/unlock slider button near the open
arrow symbol on the lid.
• Push the slider forward till the lid pops out of the
jar lock.
• Remove the lid.

Using the Juice Jar
• Place the extractor inside the juice jar. The two projections
on the extractor base has to be seated on the stoppers
inside the jar.
• Add the cut pieces of seeded fruit inside the extractor.
• Close the juice jar with the lid provided. Place the lid on
the jar and slightly press to seat it firmly. Use your thumb
to push the slider button forward & backward to lock the
lid with the jar.
• The spout cover on the lid has to be pressed to lock. A
click sound indicates that the spout cover has been firmly
locked.
• Insert the lid cap so that the two projections on lid cap is
seated in the grooves on the lid. Rotate the lid cap in
clockwise direction to lock it.
• Now the juice jar is ready for juicing.
• After juicing is done, the spout cover has to be released
and the juice can be poured out through the spout.
Note: A gasket is placed on the groove on top of the extractor by design. In case the gasket
has come out while cleaning, ensure to place it back on the extractor before using.

Blade Removal
• Use spatula for holding the metal coupler.
• Use the T-spanner to hold the blade holder nut.
• Rotate the T-spanner in clockwise direction.
• Remove the nut and replace with the required blade.
Cleaning of Jars
• After usage, half-fill the jar with water, and add
a teaspoon of any mild cleaning agent.
• Run the mixer grinder at pulse speed (with the blade fixed).
• Rinse and drain the jar.
• Wipe dry with a clean cloth.
Locking and Unlocking of Jars
• Before fixing the jar ensure that its coupler rotates freely.
• Place the jar on the metal body so that the 4 grooves of
the jar holder are properly seated on the metal body.
• Turn the jar in clockwise direction to lock with
metal body.
• Switch ON and complete the grinding operation.
• To take out the jar, turn it anticlockwise and lift up.
In case of overload
If the jar is overloaded, the mixer grinder will stop automatically.
In this event:
• Switch OFF the power supply.
• Take out excess material from the jar to reduce the load.
• Wait for 2-3 minutes.
• Press the circuit breaker button at the bottom of mixer
grinder base.
• Continue the grinding process.

Safety Tips
•To unplug the wire cord, insert your index finger into the hole of plug holder and pull out.
•To change the blades, take out the jar assembly from metal body and use T-Spanner for removing the nut.

Elgi Ultra Industries Limited (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) guarantees this
product for normal home use against defects in materials or workmanship for a period of
2 years on mixer grinder (5 years on motor) from the date of original retail purchase.
During the said period, the Company has the option to either repair or replace parts free of
charge, if this product is returned personally or sent through prepaid courier to our Ultra
Care Centres, along with proof of purchase and guarantee card duly filled in by the retailer.
The decision of the Ultra Care Centres in determining the cause of failure and repairs
required to be carried out will be final and binding under this Warranty and cannot be
canvassed either by dealer or the retail purchaser on any ground whatsoever. The
warrantor shall not be liable for any transportation cost or any damage due to or during
transit of the product either way. Repaired units under warranty will be returned to the
customer at his/her risk and on “to pay” freight basis.
This Warranty shall NOT apply:
•On wear and tear to the product.
•On damages/breakage to metal, plastic and rubber parts.
•In case of involvement in an accident.
•If the product is purchased from any unauthorised source.
• If repairs or product modifications and/or alterations have been carried out by
unauthorised service organisations or persons.
•If the product is being used for commercial purposes.
•
If the defect is caused by abuse or misuse of the product or by environmental conditions
that are not in conformance to the recommended operations of the product.
•If the defect is caused by its connection to peripherals, additional equipment or
accessories other than those recommended by Ultra.
•If the warranty card and/or the purchase bill is not produced at the time of repair.
In no event will the Company be responsible for any loss or damage, directly by or
consequential to, careless, negligent handling or misuse of this product.

This Warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied (statutory or
otherwise) and of all other obligations or liabilities on the Company’s part. No person, agent,
distributor, dealer, service centre or company is authorised to change, modify or extend the
terms of this Warranty in any manner whatsoever.
The Company’s liability under this Warranty is restricted to only repair of the product and does
not involve any replacement, monetary payment or damages. Any doubt/disputed claim under
this Warranty shall be subject to arbitration by an Arbitrator appointed only by the Company.
The arbitration shall be at Coimbatore only.

•The above Warranty is applicable only for materials/components and not for
service/labour charges incurred in rectification/repair.
