Notethatbrowsingthewebfrequently,extendeddatausage,beinginapoorsignalarea,or
subjectingthedevicetoextremetemperatureswillcausethebatterytodischargequickerthan
normal.Toincreasebatterylife,limityourdatausage,orturnoffGPSandBluetoothwhennot
required.
Installingthebattery
PleaseuseonlytheoriginalbatteriesandaccessoriesyoureceivedwithyourphoneorUltimateMobile
recommendedreplacements.
1.Removethebatterycoverfromtheunit.
2.Alignthebattery’sexposedgoldcontactswiththebatteryconnectorsinsidethebattery
compartment.
3.Insertthecontactsideoftheplace.
4.Gentlypushthebatteryintothebatterycompartmentandpressdownuntilyouhearaclick.
Replacethebatterydoor.
Removingthebattery
1.Makesurethatyourdeviceisturnedoff.Toremovethebatterycoverfromyourphone,try
openingthebackcoverusingyourfingeratthesmallopeningonthebottomofthephone.

2.Pushthebottomofthebatteryupwardsandremovethebattery.
Chargingyourbattery
Beforeyouturnonyourdeviceandstartusingit,itisrecommendedthatyouchargethebattery.
1.PlugtheUSBcableintotheUSBpoweradapter.
2.Plugthepoweradapterintoastandardoutlet.
3.LocatetheUSBportlocatedontheleftsideofyourdevice.
4.PlugtheotherendoftheshieldedUSBcableintothephone’smicroUSBport.
5.TheUSBicononthecableshouldalwaysfaceupwhenconnectingthecabletoyourdeviceas
shown.

FlickFlickingthescreenissimilartoswiping,butyouonlyneedtoswipeyourfinger
inlighterandquickerstrokes.Thisfingergestureisalwaysinavertical
direction,suchasflickingthroughthecontactsorthemessagelists.

RotateFormostscreens,youcanautomaticallychangethescreenorientationfrom
portraittolandscapebyturningthephonesideways.Whenenteringtext,you
canturnthephonesidewaystobringupabiggeron‐screenkeyboard.

Youcanentertextusingtheonscreenkeyboard.Someapplicationsopenthekeyboard
automatically.Inothers,tapanywhereinatextfieldtoopenthekeyboard.

Sometimesyoumayneedtoaddawordtothepredictivetextdictionary,forexample,anameora
specializedtechnicalword.IfyouwanttoaddawordtoyourUserdictionarywhileenteringtext,
doubletapthewordtohighlightit,thentapandholdthewordandselectAdd**todictionary.
Addingawordmanually
1.FromtheHomescreen,tapApps>Settings.
2.TapLanguage&input>Personaldictionary.
3.PressAdd.
4.Typetheword>tapOK.

3.TapCutorCopyinthemenuthatopens.
