Getting to know your product

Quick start
1. Insert batteries
Remove battery door and insert batteries (4 x AA)
into battery compartment. Ensure they are placed
in the correct direction following the
symbol. Replace the battery door.
2. Open the lid
Press the front opening tab as
shown to open the lid.
3. Set the time
Your pill dispenser can display the time in 12-
hour or 24-hour clock to suit your preference.
To change this, press and hold down buttons 2
and 3 together for a few seconds. The AM or PM
symbol will appear on the right when the clock is
in 12-hour format.
Press and hold button 1 for a few seconds until
the ‘:’ symbol starts flashing.
Press button 2 to increase the hour and button 3
to increase the minutes.
When the right time is displayed, press button 1
to confirm.

Setting your medication alarms
You can set up to six alarms a day. Once you set the alarms they will sound
daily, until you cancel them.
Choosing your alarm tone
Your pill dispenser has three different alarm tones to choose from as well
as a silent mode. The alarm tones are displayed as symbols A, B and C; the
silent mode is when no letters are displayed.
To change the alarm tone:
Cancelling your alarm
1. Press and release button 1 until the alarm you
would like to cancel starts flashing.
2. Press button 2 repeatedly until “--:--” is displayed,
this will happen after 23.00 or 11.30PM.

1. Press button 1 until ‘Alarm 1’ flashes on the display.
2. Set the time for Alarm 1 by pressing button 2 to
increase the hour and button 3 to increase the
minutes.
3. Once your desired time is displayed press button 1
to confirm Alarm 1. Alarm 2 will then start flashing.
4. Repeat steps for Alarms 2-6 as required.
When you have finished setting alarms, wait one
minute and the display will return to the clock mode.
1. Press and hold down button 3.
2. While you are holding down button 3 press and
hold button 1 to listen to and cycle through the
alarm tones.
3. When you hear the alarm tone you want, release
the buttons, wait one minute and the display will
return to clock mode.

Load your dispenser with the right dosage
disc for you
Your pill dispenser has 28 compartments to hold tablets and comes with 6
different dosage discs. Each dosage disc displays the day of the week and the
appropriate number of doses per day.
Select from the discs depending on how many times a day you take your
medication:
Once a day
The disc is marked only with the
days of the week in order.
3 times a day
The disc is marked with each day
three times in a row and Morn,
Noon or Eve.
5 times a day
The disc is marked with each day 5
times in a row and 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th
and 5th.
Twice a day
The disc is marked with each day
twice in a row and Morn or Eve.
4 times a day
The disc is marked with each day 4
times in a row and Morn, Noon, Eve
or Btime.
6 times a day
The disc is marked with each day
6 times in a row and 1st, 2nd, 3rd,
4th, 5th and 6th.

Once you’ve selected the appropriate disc fold the four tabs
down and slot it into the dispenser lined up as shown below.
The first dose to be served should line up with the dispenser
compartment to the right of the catch, and following doses
filled in an anticlockwise direction from there.
This example shows setting up the dispenser on a Sunday evening to first
dispense on a Monday for someone who takes medication once a day.

Load your medication
Now you are ready to load your medication. Take careful note of the day and
dosage on your discs to ensure your tablets are in the right compartments. Do
not put any pills where your dosage disc is red. The compartments are deep and
should be able to hold up to 6 tablets, depending on the size.
Close the lid and your dispenser will now be ready to use.

Using your pill dispenser
The alarms will go off at the times you set them for. The alarm will sound the
tone you selected, the light will flash and your tablets will be at the dosage
window.
To stop the alarm and dispense the tablets turn the pill dispenser over. This will
release the pills and stop the alarm.
The alarm will keep going for 30 minutes. If you do not take your pills within 30
minutes, they will still be at the window to take until your next alarm goes off.
Locking your pill dispenser
To ensure the pill dispenser is tamper proof you can lock it.
To lock
Insert the key supplied into the cover lock and turn anticlockwise ¼ turn.
To unlock
Insert the key supplied into the cover lock and turn clockwise ¼ turn.
Refilling your pill dispenser
The refill frequency will depend on how often you take your medication.
If you take your medication You will need to refill
Once a day Every 28 days
Twice a day Every 14 days
Three times a day Every 9 days
Four times a day Every 7 days
Five times a day Every 5 days
Six times a day Every 4 days

Cleaning your pill dispenser
Clean only with a damp cloth or sponge.
Taking care of your pill dispenser
Make sure the dispenser is always kept on a flat surface and stable surface,
such as a table, with the top side pointing up between doses. Standing it
otherwise can cause it to malfunction.
Do not keep your dispenser in direct sunlight or under other strong light sources.
Low battery warning
If your dispenser has a low battery then a battery
symbol with an ‘X’ over it will appear in the
display. We recommend you change the battery as
soon as you see this symbol.
Changing the battery
1. Depress the door release tab and remove the battery door.
2. Remove spent batteries and discard at the appropriate facility.
3. Insert fresh batteries (4 x AA) into battery compartment. Ensure they are
placed in the correct direction following the symbol.
4. Replace the battery door and the LCD display will turn on.

Testing your pill dispenser
If you need to test that your pill dispenser is working:
1. Press and hold button 2 for 5 seconds. “CH” will be displayed. The dispenser
is now in test mode.
2. Press button 1 and the dispenser will automatically proceed through the
following test:
(a) “CH1” will be displayed, and all display characters will light up.
(b) “CH2” will be displayed, and the tray will rotate one compartment.
(c) “CH3” will be displayed, and alarm will sound and red light will flash.
3. Lift the dispenser and turn it over as if pouring medication into palm. the
alarm and red light will stop.
4. To exit test mode and return to clock mode, press button 3.
Please Note
If the dispenser is not turned over within 10 seconds “CH4” will be displayed. If
the tray does not rotate properly then “CH6” Motor error will be displayed. In
both cases reset by removing and replacing batteries.
